Thank you for showing the issues you had with the paint. I share your disappointment with bad paints, and your perseverance. well done on another excellent build!
Hello from Texas in the United States! I found your channel a few days ago and have been binge watching all your videos, I can't stop myself! Everything you do looks as if you can get in and fly or drive them right off your desk, so beautiful. I would love to see if you can get your hands on a MiG-21 or MiG-25 model kit. Keep up the amazing work!
Sorry guys but I gotta leap to AK's defence here. Tried their stuff a few days ago for the first time (polished aluminium) and it gave me the best nmf I've ever seen. It was touch-dry after about a minute or so. Maybe you got one of the old bottles? I understand that there has been an issue with some batches in the past but that should be fine by now. I ordered mine from the UK through eBay. Of course the build was stunning als always. Great recovery.
Great tips especially on the gun barrels. Much cheaper than brass tubes. I find it odd that Eduard had so many seam line gaps... that isn't like them. Great build, love your videos, and cool background music. Thanks and can't wait for the next one. Cheers from Alberta Canada.
Went on a day trip to Krakow a few years ago. Saw a Mig 15 gate guardian as our coach went past an airbase. Best bit of the trip! Well, for me, anyway.
No offense but is belarus as rough as the media makes it out to be, not looking to offened im just interested in what an actual citizen thinks, no the govt or media lol
Nice job on this one, David. Hard to believe this Eduard kit needed so much putty. You latest video technique with narration with subtitles, and the placement of the paint near the model is your best format yet. Now, how about some more challenging kits......Special Hobby, Modelsvit, or a short run brand. Love to see you skills applied there.
One of your best videos my friend!! I laughed so much on 08:13!! XD I will start with the hobby very soon. I'm creating courage to start my first model. Greetings from Brazil, my friend! All the best for you. :D
Hey Plasmo, from the USA, Great build. I always learn from you. Imagine a really big plane. A super fortress or something. You, sir ,are a master modeler. regards, Solomon
Good stuff, in case you can, I suggest when you highlight the panel lines and merge with the model using a brush or sponge, try going in the general flight direction, that is pulled to the back of the model.
I like your level of simplicity to a very good realistic model. After watching someone take what seemed like 5 years to do 1000 coats of different metals to the nozzle of a F-14....
Magnificent :) Looks like you got bottle that was stored poorly, (in extreme cold) structure of paint changed and it wont cure... I had same issues with ak varnish, it was sticky for weeks...
The problem with the AK metal paint was that the builder was laying it on too heavy too soon. Best to spray a few lite coats than to spray on a single heavier boat. Less is more, so to speak. Seen several of this fellow's videos, he does great work!
No, it was a problem with only the one bottle. Today arrived new polished aluminum bottle, and this one is perfect like others shades. It dries up after a few seconds. So it was the wrong batch.
David- How do you find the time to build so many models? Apart from shooting and editing videos of the process, it takes me (what seems like)forever to build a single model while you've finished seven or eight... very impressive. Thanks also for doing these in English as well!
Outstanding! That hypodermic needle trick is beyond anybody's expectations. Another great point is the background music. I'd like to know band's name. Keep up the great work.
David, how about some panzer? A King Tiger e.g., Meng has a really nice kit, with interior if you like. I would love to see you build that, in a series of video's perhaps?
Amazing work! I need to get more supplies to make models with. I weather my models by getting a Q tip wet, dipping it in a small amount of black paint and smudging it on the model, then I wipe some of it off. I hate using this technique, it could look much better
Great model from you sir! Have you ever tried kitchen aluminium foil burnished onto the plane, panel by panel? you can use shinny side and dull side for different effects. I would love to see you try it on your next all silver model😀
I'm unsure what you did with the polished aluminum, I've used it and it dried just as well as their other metal lines. I'd suggest contacting them, perhaps your batch was bad. Also if you ever get their thinner, be incredibly careful with that and do not use it around your model, it's cellulose based and will eat your plastic faster than you can grab a rag to clean it with. It cleans their paints out of your brushes really nicely though.
You said you don't like the puttying and sanding, but for me it's the building part which is my favourite. Unlike you I don't like the painting part that much, although I'm getting better at it. As for puttying, I do like your masking tape trick, haven't used that yet, but I might have an idea how to make puttying easier on you. Have you ever tried to use a miniature Scraper/Spachtel to level the putty? I combined it with your toothpick method of applying putty, thanks for the tipp btw., and it has yielded some nice results leading to so little putty buildup, that you almost don't need to sand at all.
thank you for these wonderful tutorials. I have a request/question. Would do a 1/144 tank or truck and how would you weather one for a desert diorama? Any suggestions or help pointing me in the right direction would be awesome. Thank you for all the videos.
Hey david, fantastic work as always, any chance of seeing some more science fiction models please?, and it would be great to see you let loose on a fully detailed resin kit :)
i wish i lived next door to this guy. i would be bugging him everyday "TEACH ME !".
Fantastic work on that canopy. And I really like the depth that more metallic colours brings..
Thank you for showing the issues you had with the paint. I share your disappointment with bad paints, and your perseverance. well done on another excellent build!

It is like a drug watching his videos.
I love how you think ppl dont know texas is in the US!
There are three things one can watch forever - fire, water and a master do his work. I can watch David make his models forever ))
Your voice is so relaxing to listen to, and the models always finish up at an exceptional quality. Keep up the good work, I love your videos!
The work is done beyond praise. It turned out to be a very beautiful model. SUPER!
Great video. Laughed out loud when you said "bloody hell"
and he muttered other things in a different language too! Cursing can help; look at his final result for positive proof of that :D
@@ronschlorff7089 , that different language was Czech 😁😃

Today arrived new polished aluminum bottle. It dries up after a few seconds and result is perfect. :-D
You manage the same high standard in any scale. Another superb build and paint job.
You are the best modeler I know by far. Keep it up!
Brother?

You can see how dated these early post war designs are BUT brought to life like this has wetted my appetite to upset my poor wife again. Bless her.
Beautiful build, David! Surprised you had problems with the AK metal paints. I probably would have given up after the first disaster.
Great tips especially on the gun barrels. Much cheaper than brass tubes. I find it odd that Eduard had so many seam line gaps... that isn't like them. Great build, love your videos, and cool background music. Thanks and can't wait for the next one. Cheers from Alberta Canada.
Once again a piece of art plasmo, love the Mig-15, and that metallic finish is great!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks
only thing better, for me, would be a 1/48 scale one!!
Went on a day trip to Krakow a few years ago. Saw a Mig 15 gate guardian as our coach went past an airbase. Best bit of the trip! Well, for me, anyway.
Makes me wanna reduce myself to 1/72 scale, climb aboard and fly away. Well done, superb job!
You’re the bob Ross of scale models. In a beginner, I’ve only done like 3, now I’m not sure if I’ve ever modeled at all
I get frustrated watching your videos because I know I will never be this good. Your work is amazing, keep up the good work.
Patience my dear friend and very much observation. Don't just look but observe carefully and don't just ear but listen.
Bloody hell! LOL!! Yeah, I'd have had at least the same reaction. Well done for sticking with it. The end result is excellent.
Damn, I feel so tempted now to get back into building models again!
Philip Schmidt give in to your temptations you know you want to lol
Great Job! It's time to go a bit far, Su-27, Mig 29, they will look perfect when u will touch them with ur golden hands!!!
P.S. Hello from Belarus!
You are very close Mig-29smt is on the table.
It's perfect news!!!!
PLASMO - plastic models mohol by si natočiť video v ktorom stavaš nejakú loď napr.:bismarck alebo USS missouri

Bloody Hell, pulled it from the jaws of defeat. Nice recovery work Davo!
Hi David. Its very, very, very beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
So much filling. Unusual for an Eduard kit.

Super well done paint work and weathering.

Fantastic modeller. Very well constructed Video tutorials. Love this Guy. Long live Plasmo!
That metal finish looks amazing
That is a beautifully built and painted Mig15, Great video as well
Another sensational build my friend! You are the man to get it done. Thank you for sharing!
Good stuff, in case you can, I suggest when you highlight the panel lines and merge with the model using a brush or sponge, try going in the general flight direction, that is pulled to the back of the model.
Stunning as usual - thanks for sharing - really enjoy seeing these builds!
I love this model and how you did the metal colour.. Id love to see more metal colour aircraft
David, the Mig 15 came out cool. Even after a paint hic up.
8:13 "Ježíš Maria" :) Your voice reminds me that of Eckhart Tolle and shows professionalism as well as a proper, healthy distance to what you do.

Surf music is a nice choice. Right on mate.
The problem with the AK metal paint was that the builder was laying it on too heavy too soon. Best to spray a few lite coats than to spray on a single heavier boat. Less is more, so to speak. Seen several of this fellow's videos, he does great work!

That's good news. Still you do some excellent work. Just saw the new video of the German tank build. Great piece!!

Wow! The MiG looks fantastic, great job despite the issues with the AK paints. "Never give up" - that's a good motto. :)

Cool video. Seems you have not applied Matt varnish, and keeper only with gloss varnish. Correct?
Another stunning build man, well in. I'm scared to try an all metal finish.
What's up next?
I hope you reported te problem back to AK. I love your video's. Respect from Sydney, Australia.

Hello. I use soapy water or alcohol. I remove dust and grease from the surface.

Just Wonderfull
I love your works, and i'm always waiting for the next one. it's such inspiring.
Keep going and congratulations
thank you, the details gave me several hints. appreciate this upload
dip in clear varnish vs sanding/buffing the clear cockpit canopy ? which one is better looking and easier
Nice work! These two paints did you test in other surfaces after this?
I built this kit myself but the marking scheme in the box was a Soviet Mig-15bis where the roundels were painted over North Korean roundels
Igen, ilyen kialakításúnak kellene lennie a Trumpeter 1/32es Mig 15,17 sorozatának is.
Love your videos. Do you think you can include a list or links to the different tools and paints you use? Keep up the great videos!
Very good video my friend. It's made me go and buy one.
Very nice job Pal !!! I love the Korean War planes. Still have this model there ???
