OnTrack Karting Wallingford, CT 3-27-19 League Race 'A' Main ***SPUN OUT AGAIN....HOW ANNOYING***

- Well, while the racing is always fun, I wish I could say the night was a good one but it wasn't, being spun for the second week in row at the beginning of the race really puts a damper on the whole night. So I was in the second qualifier and was able to qualify 3rd with 37.527...just 4 hundredths quicker than SWIFTY....I'm really hoping these new tires wear in quick, or I need to improve on new tire skill. Anyway I did have good kart that I was able to drive faster during the 17 lap position race as the tires got heat in them and hit a fast lap of 37.034 on the last lap. During the feature race as in the title of this video I was spun on the first lap and pretty much ended my race right there. I was able to bring back a couple spots to finish 10th with fast lap of 37.195 and a joker lap of 29.090 which was the second fastest joker lap of the race. Now I don't know if I could hung with the top runners with the regular lap time but as they were battling that would have gave me chance, and by the way I qualified 6th for the feature race and before I was spun I was in position to pick up like three spots and that's what makes it such a bummer! I am surprised they didn't throw a caution and regroup the field when it happens in the first lap. Such a crappy thing to happen to a good racer... for the second week in a row.
Thanks Steve, they told me they would've stopped it and restarted it but he wasn't paying attention when it happened. I'm just having an unfortunate bad couple of weeks, hopefully next week will be better.
P DOGG Karting there is always next week. Can’t wait to start qualifying up towards the front and start competing with y’all!
@@stevenalves2324 yeah man, it's tough at the top. I'll say it took me about a year to get to where I'm at and almost two years to perfect things and I'm still learning. With each Kart being different you have to learn to adjust and some are easier than others, but that's one of the things I'm still working on.
Definitely hoping next week will be better!
