  • Tonight was a long night because tonights league night was combined with fundraiser race for Alzheimers disease. They ran those races in between the qualifiers and the league race. Adults and junior upgrades were able to participate in the event. My friend SPLITTER who also competed in the event let me know in conversation about the event that it had close meaning to him due to a very close relative of his passed away from it. A quick reference to what Alzheimer Disease is, it is a irreversable, progressive brain disorder that destroys memory and thinking skills and eventually the ability to carry out the simplest of tasks, I'm sure this event had a lot deep meaning to others who participated as well. So as the racing goes for league night, I was in Q2 and qualified 3rd with a lap time of 37.698, and for the position race I finished 3rd with a lap time of 37.428, which put me 6th for the feature. For the feature I drew the #18 kart that has had a question mark on it for some time, but I did recieve a little comfort before the race that it has gotten better, and I delighted to see that it was. The kart to me had a ton of front end grip but in the same sentence did not like some right handers...I know, weird right lol! As of the past few weeks the karts have gotten very close in pace where its coming down just fine tuning the karts to handle and driver technique, sometimes it feels like the best place to be is up front for free space otherwise you may be stuck battling for one spot the whole race! My lap time for the feature was 37.480, and with that said, Enjoy and Thanks for watching!!
