*What was your favorite part of Zoobox? If you'd like to get started with aquascaping, check out this tutorial:* ruclips.net/video/1kJ0e8wM38U/видео.html
Definitely the set up w/ power head for bamboo type/filter feeding shrimp was awesome! There's nothing more depressing than walking into a LFS and seeing a bunch of filter feeding shrimp trying their hardest to survive all huddled on top of a single sponge filter or wrecking their fans shifting through substrate.😭
Hey Cory, it was nice that you visited us, maybe it will happen again. Then with more time to talk. Thank you very much for your visit and this video. If you are in Germany again, you are very welcome in Remscheid!
The Nannacara adoketa at minute 3:25 unfortunately had a bacterial infection (this is not uncommon in wild-caught animals), hence the deformed mouth. The fish is otherwise extremely healthy and will now stay with us and perhaps live in a display aquarium.
Just WOW! Amazing store and love the way they incorporate live plantings into all their tanks, both for display and sell-out-of tanks. And the fish selection and live food packaging is awesome sauce. Thanks for the tour! Your joy shines thru in your travel vids. Nice to see the Cory we all know has returned. Keep ‘em coming! 😊☮❤🐠🦐🪴
BRROOOOO WE NEED THAT LIVE FOOD SELECTION FRIDGE HERE IN THE STATES!!! Thats so AWESOME!! Another great video Cory! Appreciate everything you do big or small for this hobby a the average fish keeping hobbyist/breeder with a DREAM! 💯🤙🏼❤️👏😁
you should check out Artemia Farm Ronny Rein near Jena, East Germany. They own a little salty lake whith wild artemia of the best quality I ever bought. Compared to theirs, all other Artemia - alive or frozen - I ever bought look like skinny grey ghosts, these are realy rich and healty and no problem with posphat after feeding them. In summer you can also buy them alive but only in very big but cheap numbers of 10 Liters (2,5 Gallon) that look like more shrimps in it than water, you need to split them into several buckets, ceep them without technic in your garden and feed the algea with corn flover. You can feed a lot of fish with them without getting out of stock because they will reproduce very fast. They also sell nearly every common live fish food or frozen food in the best quality. The only thing I a little sorry about is that it´s not the native german type of artemia salina which must be very rare, these are the normal american artemia franziscana.
mzuel tetra aka red cherry tetra. It’s one of the newer hyphessobrycon coming out of brazil. I’ve purchased some from the Wet Spot :). If you want to see more, I’d recommend getting Amazonas Characins - New Brazilian Tetras. There are some absolutely stunning fish.
We lived in Germany back in 1980 and the pet / fish stores were amazing even back then. Always seemed to have any and everything you could want and be meticulously kept.
Always like an owner of a business such as you Cory going to other businesses/manufactures for product insight. Always looking for something to give a little R&D to a product to make it suitable for the American market. So many different products that are being utilized in different countries is so cool to see. Always will be jealous of the EU aquarium market. Thanks to you gives a lot more hope in our market!
26:18 thats silicone that you can use underwater too. Love Zoobox. In my opnion by far the best shop in Germany, although there is many super nice ones.
An incredible store that I'd just get lost in...lucky you Cory 😉 That dried shell at 21:48 you called a huge coconut looks like a Calabash. The shell when dried like that is often used as a kitchen utensil.
Great video and very informative. I love listening to your videos. I'm working on the night shift, and I put headphones in listening long aquarium videos.
Why can't we have anything like that here in USA. I got into growing plants this past year and a half and true story... I am ordering from California to be shipped to Florida and they get it from Japan. My "store" for aquascaping is Amazon resellers of Japanese rocks and ADA reseller Aqua Forest Aquarium. I heard a rumor that somewhere in Orlando there is a tiny little itsy bitsy 8x8 store ran out of someone's storage unit for aquascaping. Watching this walkthrough is like drooling over home depot while stuck on a lost island in middle of the pacific. Most my LFS here have gone out of business or are on the brink of.
Cory, I believe those red fish are Red Cherry Tetras if I'm not mistaken. Shoutout to Jason from PrimeTime Aquatics for the species profile. :) Love seeing these shops outside of the states and their glorious selections!! Cheers.
I've seen the red cherry tetras in a local shop here in Honolulu. They are very beautiful and I would love to have a school of them but they cost $50 each!! Maybe when I win the lottery.
Thanks for the Beethoven. My daughter played Minuet in G at a recital recently, so I've been hearing it for quite some time around the house. Now it's invading my fish videos.
Plant, pet and aquarium stores in Germany are awesome. They were fully up to speed on Amano style & technology twenty years before the US. They're still ahead of the US, really. In the US, you can mostly get what you want by ordering online, the US will never be close to Germany in the quality of their stores.
Everyone is ahead of the US in terms of fish keeping. I always just laugh at dumb ignorant comments from Americans when Cory does videos in Asia. I'm Hong Kong-American and grew up with the aquarium hobby in both HK and California. Just head over to Cory's video he did in Hong Kong and look at the dumb comments. Americans don't even KNOW how far behind they are in the hobby that they think China doesn't know what they're doing, ya know... the place where the aquarium hobby STARTED a thousand years ago
Zoobox is a great store, but even for Germany they tend to have more rare fish and the owner prouds himself with keeping the fish very healthy and feeds them a ton of live food too. They are a bit on the expensive side. I never had the chance to visit the store in person but I did order fish from them online, awesome stuff!
Looks like a cool shop! It should take me a little more than 2 hours to drive there. And cool they also have a row of JBL brine shrimp hatcheries which shows they're feeding their fish really well. I've got one of these, love it! I buy live foods at my lfs occasionally to give my fish a treat. Fish just love live foods very much.
Cory that pump thing is a dosing cap you squeeze your bottle to the right amount in the cup and pour it in your tank iv seen something like this for mouthwash reef doing ect
Still watching but putting the tanks on pallets is such a good idea. If you had tanks in your house and like rearranging things you could put your larger tanks on pallets and disguise it with some paint or add like a wood facade that could be easily removed. Looked online and a $300 pallet jack is rated for 5500lbs
I wonder what type of light they use to make the color on the fish brighter. They should tell the customer so that they can put the light in their tank. Great video!!!
Hey Cory! Was no one there for an interview? Zoobox is also very well known in Germany? Or was that not your intention at all? I would be interested (I'm from Germany) to know how the prices for fish and accessories compare to you in the States. Definitely nice video! Many greetings from Germany ✌
I love your video's! Do you purchase any of these fish and send them back to your store for breeding and sell them? I would love to see more breeding videos!
I really like your view and comments on the Hobby in Germany/Europe! But if you ever want to meet the coolest and most likeable Dudes in the Hobby in Germany you have to visit in Erfurt/Thuringia the Aquaddicted Guys!
Man it woudl be so awesome to see some Apistos Blue Flames! Been lookign for those for such a long time. Unfortunately Canada its so hard to find them.
The red Muzel tetra has been around for a while at least here in the EU they do look even nicer mixed with the ordinary Lemon tretra, their kin so to speak. I hope you had a nice stay here in Europe!
I got an alert that this video was posted as I was driving home after trying unsuccessfully to find a mystery snail. No pet store (chain or LFS) near my home in Appalachia have any. I have to get pygmy corydoras special ordered for me because they're too "exotic" here. So jealous! I'd love to go to a real fish store like this one or Aquarium Co-op and buy healthy fish that are common everywhere but here.
awesome looking store and great content in video. I did want to leave feedback that I felt like video quality isnt as good as other aquarium coop videos in the past. Not sure if its a new or different camera but as you scan around store focus doesn't switch almost make video seem myopic. I know thats not the main focus of the videos and you focus more on content and education but I dont feel like I had the same issue watching your china videos with you and randy. Again great content I enjoy watching just focusing makes it less visually comfortable to watch.

Thanks for having me. Definitely when I'm near your place again we'll make some more time to talk ;)
@@AL_EVOz.... I'm thinking that they tend to go all in on EVERYTHING , that store has more inventory in back than 10 PETSMARTS have on display 😢

Die Zoobox ist schon ein toller Shop. Hier scheint es wirklich alles zu geben, was das Aquarianerherz begehrt. 😀

Germany has so many wonderful things 🇩🇪❤️ enjoy your visit
Oh the Red Mzuel Tetra! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
My favorite was the selection of hard scape that was available. I wish I had a store like that close by, I think I would never leave!!
The golden pleco at 17:00 was the Goldstaub Schilderwels which was priced at 1200 Euro.
16:45 look behind the racks, they do feed a ton of artemia :D

Wow! All that hardscape. Awesome!
Those tanks are amazing, they look so clean and the fish are incredible!
I love this video super Germany just a great store enjoy your visit. Cory you one of the best😉
Those Plecos are amazing and the Leaf fish were way too cool!! ❤❤❤
26:18 thats silicone that you can use underwater too. Love Zoobox. In my opnion by far the best shop in Germany, although there is many super nice ones.
The pencil fish that luca loves is like a tiny salmon you see bears catch on nature programs ❤❤❤❤
I love watching Cory & Chris hanging out! Awesome Store!
Awesome Tour!
LOVE the rocks and wood bins. Wish there was something like that locally!
another cool store. sure wish we had them like that here.

@SoleLifeMPLS You are not mistaken. Hyphessobrycon sp. “Muzel Red Cherry“. Muzel is the German word for Mussel.

Thanks for another great one your work is often a source of total joy and relaxation for an old fish keeper.🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
Always fun checking out stores in other area. All beautiful

Awesome tour, Cory! Can't wait to try that AC glue!
The tank at 5:22, what are those pink plants? Thise are incredible!
Hygrophila pinnatifida

I got a group of 9 black ruby barbs from dans fish a while ago, they are a beautiful fish!
what kind of lighting are they using to get the reds to pop like that in the fish ?

The muzzle tetra is also a cherry tetra we get them over at fish planet in Chicago
Very cool tour .... cannot find TOMIG....RUclips...😮
Mega coconut is some type of gourd (traditionally used to carry water) cut in half. In Hawaii also used to keep the beat in Hula.
I wonder what type of light they use to make the color on the fish brighter. They should tell the customer so that they can put the light in their tank. Great video!!!
