Cole Palmer is, the playmaker.
Terrible coaching, if the blind will know that Jude Bellingham has been poor, alongside Foden, Rice which can be bench but he won't just do it
English fans, you pundits and English media should just accept the reality that Rice, Saka, Palmer, Gordon, Harry Kane, Trippier, Foden are all average players and they just play better in a system around foreign players who do not receive credit they deserve like in the case of Rodri not been awarded player of the season. A group of world class players do not need a Guadiola or an Ancelotti to save their lives against very poorly ranked Slovenia, Serbia and Denmark so all these nonsense criticisms on Southgate is just a deflection running away from the fact that many of English players are just average. By the way Bellingham is an average player when he doesn’t have a technical midfielder around him.
@@BC-mj7gjfinally someone said it. Bellendham is overrated. He’s lucky he has Madrid’s UCL victory to put a blur over how subpar he is
Mainoo being the sub at halftime got the 2nd half going much better. Mind you, it was his brilliant run and pass that opened up the best chance for Palmer (great pass from Gordan too). More people need to talk about Mainoo. But ya, Palmer deserves a start too
Southgate knows his best 11, he just doesn’t know what positions they play
He chose the right players only to place them at all the wrong positions
Overall looking at the group stage with teams like AUSTRIA and the SWISS ,hope we might get to see a SUPRISE similar to EURO 2004 when Greece shock the world to win it... which can very good for the world of football ⚽️!
Funny how England now again have a easier path to the final.......but realistically (Surely the winner have to come for this tough side of the bracket either Portugal,France,Germany or Spain!)
After the first three games in the weakest group in the tournament by far, England winning the Euros would be a real suprise. Greece 2004 played better then England has so far.
That's the beauty of the sport, we just never really know in the early stages anything could happen😂 Austria higher than France and Netherlands...truly a spectacle
Never forgot about Italy in the England side
England will lose on penalties against the Netherlands
Sick of these crazy fans and pundits and now mocking our team so foreign pundits laugh at us, shame on you. This is is the group stage. The manager got us through. He negotiated the risk and won the group. Would people prefer England went out with an all-out attack and finished the group last? Be realistic. Don't feed our enemies.
The knockout phase will be different.
Appreciate the history of our people and the country. When we have our backs against the wall, we rise to the occasion. I’m not some Man City, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, or Liverpool supporter-teams that buy success and expect results. I’m a Derby County man. I know what it's like to have your club abused and derided, to be laughed at, and to have our players poached by other vulture clubs when we were on our knees.
I understand the true meaning of keeping the faith. Supporting Derby County has taught me resilience and loyalty. Maybe some of those plastic fans out there need to remember that faith is all a real supporter has. It's not about jumping on the bandwagon of the latest success; it's about standing by your team through thick and thin, knowing that our spirit and determination will eventually prevail.
Yep. All of this noise doesn't matter. The problem is fans thinking their Fantasy Premier League, Football Manager and FIFA tactics will guide them towards the trophy in real life.
I saw people online draw up elaborate lineups and movements of each player using very technical vocabulary. I asked them one simple question: what would you do when this doesn't work? And their reply was, "3241 like Guardiola does".
And most of these fans aren't even English, they simply run agendas against the opposition team players while defending their own. That's why it's a mess.
As for the pundits and media, they're extra harsh on the players because recently, Thierry Henry and Fabregas have said that the Spanish press and media are much more toxic than that of England, because the pressure of playing in Spain is much bigger.
And now the English pundits think they're in a competition with other countries about how toxic they can be. It's a huge mess.
leaving Raheem Sterling at home is the problem 5-6 goals
cool calm preformance from mainoo.well done kida
I am a USMNT fan. When I watched England playing it's almost like a carbon copy of the same USMNT plan. It's like the same coaching philosophy.

The big problem with Kane is he was always a bit slow. Age is catching up with him early
I don’t understand why we are acting surprised by all this? It the same every time.
It’s not a “nervy performance” it’s a lack of confidence in the manager and the tactics. You can see it in the way they play. The tactics and lineup are all wrong. That’s on the manager 1000% and they have no respect for him.
And when he did the lineup the fans wanted, still wasn't the strongest result. It's time to focus on the squad now, lack of collective foresight and link-up-play. The players just don't compliment each other in the best way
Southgate ideal formation is 10-0-0
What do you think "nervy" means? Lack of confidence is pretty much it.
@@MarkHogan994 excuse them they had a brain fart
@MarkHogan994 it means "that ain't gonna work for me brother"
Georgia has a plan, Slovenia has a plan, Austria has a plan, Spain has a plan, Germany has a plan, Albania has a plan, Romania has a plan, Portugal has a plan etc... Southgate does not have it.
The plan is defence. They conceded one goal in three games. Maybe you don't like it, but caution is still a plan.
@@TT-fq7pl conceded one goal? Who they have faced ? Mighty Serbia or the powerhouse Slovenia, or Denmark who are struggling, lmao you're making it as if they've conceded just 1 goal after playing likes of Spain, Germany etc
He has a plan, and it is called trusting his players to have a plan.
@@priyanshgautam9971 Hardly gave up any chances either. Very stingy defence. And defence goes a long way in tournaments. You only have to win 1 nil. Spain always finds that out the hard way. They score in bunches, and then lose 1 nil.
They gave gordon a disrespectful 5 minutes and he still managed a defence splitting pass that led to a shot on goal. Why are we still persisting with Foden on the left?
Jack Grealish was the star on the last tournament, got the 100mil transfer, got left out of the squad, so now they can barely make chances. Jack even assisting most of their goals during friendlies before Euro started. that says alot

Agree, Bellingham is soooo overrated.
this is massive copium my guy
Well it's a team effort. It's like a job, u can be the best worker but ur results will be different depending which co-worker ur paired with. U can be the best player like Messi in Barca, but then become average in InterMiami and PSG squad. It still doesn't take away their individual awards & allocates as talented individual players. In football, u could be Pele but it won't work if ur squad doesn't click well together. I agree they're terrible PUT TOGETHER but I don't agree that they're "average" as players.
@delete9090 the majority of the English starting 11 are either luxury players or system role players. I cannot look at one player on the team that has a team depend or built around them. Jude benefited from madrids ability to create goals and their lack of a striker early on/vinis injury. If you watched the games you'd see how much work the rest of the team did especially Rodrygo who gets slept on because of his numbers. Kane might be the only exception but even then I don't really believe it.
I am a English man and true .....but my son you are 100 per cent correct ...they play with some world class players, take care son ,👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🏴
They looked best at the end with Palmer. Even Gordon was moving good. They better change that lineup
Southgate has changed it many times to different ways the fans asked and still not the strongest results. It's the squad now. They just don't click as good together, lack of collective foresight and link-up-play...
@@delete9090 That is exactly what Southgate wants everyone to think to shift blame away from his incompetancy, introducing Palmer for 19 minutes and Gordon for 5 minutes and then claiming 'See I gave them a shot'... The guy is a football terr0rist and needs to gone today as the players don't respect him beyond them saying 'he's a nice guy'...
England “ Be Careful what you wish for “😂😂😂
Harry Kane comments after the game said it all about the mentality he said we may have to win the next game in extra time or on penalties
not a good attitude for an England captain he needs replacing
England did exactly what they should have they got way easier bracket they will get to final were they will lose to the the team that wins the harder bracket side everyone will say England had greatest run ever
Southgate is the type of guy to wear a helmet on a peloton.
Southgate would wear a helmet on a playpark swing.
The team that ended the game on the pitch is the team we need to start the next game ! Palmer was a breath of fresh air when he came on, Gordons first touch was to tear down the wing ! He has to start with that team. Id even so far to say drop KANE or drop him into midfield
You misspelled 8/11 of Slovenian players, and you criticize English players who are first in the group.
Yeah, but, Jeez, what a group!
Southgate 😂😂 i can manage better than him! 😂😂
Then do it 😂
Your mum could manage better than Southgate
