This is the BEST independent fish store Cory has ever seen! He and @chrislukhaup drove out the Giga Zoo in the middle of the mountains of Bavaria and toured this incredible local fish store that was completely built by the owner Franz over the last 25 years. He built all the aquariums, granite stands, carbon fiber walls, and natural wood furnishings. He even helps customers drill the tanks they bought and pick out their custom plumbing parts. Seems like when people in Germany get into a hobby they do it well. The video was awesome. The store was even more awesome. I really in joyed seeing the video and the mind blowing store.
The craftsmanship and level of materials used are the best of the best to the point where I'm not sure if the owner is a fish keeper or an architect.

Beautiful tank.
You might want to consider doing water changes through the drain on one of your FX6's. Both in and out. Very efficient, no mess, and less stress on your fishy.
Fluval also produce a vacuum cleaner that can be connected to the drain valve, where the water will return to the tank after passing through a filter sock in the cleaner. Nice feature to have, especially when trimming moss and such, to prevent the debris from entering your water column.
Thinking I may be able to talk my son & his fiancé into coming here this summer & bring me goodies. They're spending 8 weeks in Slovakia & Europe ❤

I have set (and re-set) a lot of standard boring gondola style shelving in my past life -- this granite shelving looks outstanding! Everything was so clean (I was in a LFS yesterday, it was a mess. ) The wheels in Cory's head are turning for sure!! (Cut and polished Basalt from the North Cascades?? 🤔)
So smart putting the lights on the inside of the aquarium, recycle some of the heat of the lights into the tanks! Love the Carbon Fiber tanks. And the wrap around tanks in the isles.

I would love to see aquarium co-op sell their own branded aquarium kits geared towards beginners. As someone currently searching for a 20-30 gallon kit the market is very limited and the value for your money just isn’t there.

This is the 3rd time I have watched the video and I can see it even more , thank you Cory for the awesome video which is the perfect example for someone like me that has been guilty of not being a self starter in my life and I tend to have given up when I'm looking to far ahead , usually the outcome I think is the only thing that would matter. Something I remember you have brought up before, and I know it's a lot of different things that I can do to address it. Words like pride of ownership is something that I have been enjoying when I really was just renting 🌐
