- It's been my dream to visit the ADA Nature Aquarium Gallery ever since I got into aquascaping. In addition to that, I've also wanted to make a video to show everyone how beautiful the gallery is and today, that dream came true. Seeing the master Takashi Amano's iwagumi layouts was the high point during this trip. I always saw pictures and videos of them but seeing it in person, you can really feel the power those stones give.

Which aquarium was your favorite? Today mine has to be Takashi Amano’s Manten Stone iwagumi at 7:35 as it’s always been a dream to see it in person 🥹
The ADA gallery requires a 4k camera :) Still, good video!
@@metallixro Yeah, I realised afterwards when editing. My camera can do 4K, it’s just my laptop that I don’t know if it can handle.
The tank at 5:31 looks like your first competition tank. Very nice. What is the fish at 1:14 kind of brown vertical stripes? I really like it!
I also love the tank at 7:35. Gorgeous. And the one at 11:08 intrigues me with the fallen tree. What a fabulous experience.
Oh and 12:55 with all those gold tetras. I could look at that all day. lol
One of my bucket lists is to visit this absolutely breath taking museum. 😍. Thank you for the tour🤙🏽
I wish IAPLC would go back to rate the nature style better over all this highly complicated artificial looking diorama style scapes that have taken over the competition in recent years.
Fully agree, they look too artificial.
Agree. They need to be a seperate category.
YES!!!! YOU GET IT!!!!.
Haven’t seen a lot of diorama in the top 27 this year to be honest….
That i agree
Iwagumi is still, by far, my favorite tank style. Iwagumi is pure, minimal, and beautiful. Iwagumi is Takashi Amano. Stunning video. Thank you. 🙏🏼
Thank you! It’s my favorite too 🤓

Whaouuuu !!!
Grand merci 👌👍
Amazing Video. I love it very much. Could watch it all day long!
I am a big fan of Takashi Amano's last iwagumi style aquascape. Such a masterpiece with great energy! This must be Japan's most appreciated aquarist jewel of all time.
Yes I agree! His last iwagumi is a masterpiece. So simple yet so powerful 🥹 Thanks so much!
That’s fantastic!! Your videos are wonderful!! Great job Watanabee San 🙏🏽
Beautifully edited, narrated, and executed buddy. Your doing great things for the hobby. Amano would be proud
Thank you, this was a special video for me to make ☺️
WOW! Phenomenal video Ryo! One of my favorites... The videography, the descriptions of each tank, the music, the editing, etc.... I like them all! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much 🤓
You look so happy to meet the ADA suikei creators in the last picture! A memorable day.
Hi ryo san,
What an amazing video about the NA gallery 🤩🤩 Hope to visit it one day 🙏
Thank you for this amazing tour and good to see Ono san at this video. 💚
Have a great weekend with love from the Netherlands 🙏
insane video man. probably the best one on your channel. makes me so happy to see you still getting better over the years.
Thank you for this tour ❤
I have a childhood dream of being shrunk and then getting to dive in my aquarium. That dream, just came back to me at those beautyfull tanks. Thank you for sharing. ❤️😊
Thank you for the tour that some might not be able to view it in our lifetime. Subscribed to your channel! 🎉
amazing video and footage of the ada gallery. I hope to visit it in person one of these days but I'll live through your videos for now. The voice over was perfect but different from your normal freestyle format. I love it. can't wait for the next video!
I've watched and liked all your other tours. And I happy for you that you had your dream tour. But I've already seen it on a couple other channels. Looking forward to more unique tours of yours. 👍✌️
Awesome! The video we all waited for.
I appreciate the creativity and the work of all the "new" creators, however none of them can recreate the way Amano did his aquariums.
Some of the layouts just seem to be overcomplicated and restless. Hard to explain.
Echt wunderschöne Aquarien hat Amano hier "hingezaubert"! 👍Was mir persönlich besonders gefällt, dass es "Naturaquarien" sind und keine künstlich wirkenden Landschaften unter Wasser...😉
Excellent I look forward to your posts❤️💚❤️🙏🙏🏻🙏🏾🇬🇧
Thanks! Lots of videos and pictures to come on RUclips and Instagram ☺️
Beautiful ❤
Best tour of the great Amano legacy thank you, Ryo ❤
Wow,dream place to visited
just watched the whole thing :) wooow what a honour to go the NA Gallery it looks stunning. Brilliant video Ryo keep up the good work.
🤩 это просто супер экскурсия по прекрасному месту 👍СПАСИБО! За возможность полюбоваться этим местом
wow a dream visit. Thank you :-)
Immoryal classic. Thsnks very much, Ryo, for sharing
Beautiful. Thanks Ryo.
Beautifully set...
Great video!!!!
Thank you Ryo for doing this journey and bring the ADA gallery closer to everyone.
Honestly, I was inspired to jump into this hobby by Sir Amano's tanks and believe many of us was too. From few years ago, the style of diorama takes quite a high rank in the competition worldwide and people easily are drawn by their impression. But here is nature, and glad that ADA employees and pro aquascaper there still keep the "spirit" of Sir Amano.
Looking all the tank via your video kind like bright my vision, bring me back to the reason why I love this hobby and feel more about Sir's attitude. The cleanliness of glass, wires, combination of plants, healthy fishes, etc. All of them are perfect nature.
Great gallery tour guide you are!
Wonderful video ! Only open tanks and no jumping fish ? Thank you for showing us this great showroom.
Thank you, this is an amazing video showing the reflection of art at ADA! Amazing
Dear Ryo, nice and great job! Thanks for inspiring us!
Thank you so much for sharing.
To visit the gallery is a dream, however watching this tour is the next best thing. Seeing all of the tanks, and visualising the space gives a more intimate impression, and your description a strong feeling of the ADA philosophies. A really well considered video and one I will look forward to watching again.
beautiful fishes
Place is amazing!
Lovely video Ryo, thank you.
Ryo... Well done. I have watched a few videos from other well known RUclipsrs about this gallery, and I think yours is the best yet. Instead of getting all "technical" about it, talking about the plants, the technics etc, you gave us the "spirit" of each aquascape which really draws the viewer in. Enchanting and respectful too. If I could give you a 1000 likes for this, I would. Well done. ❤️
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. I just wanted to make this video relaxing to watch for all ☺️
Youve come a long way, Ryo! I remember watching your first videos when you were a little kid in Singapore (?) and now youre at the mecca! :)
Every aquascaper's dream is to visit the ADA Gallery! Thanks for the tour ☺️🙏
Thank you so much ☺️ You’re definitely right about that!
Amazing video !
Beautiful video, documentation, narration, and music in the background, thank you for this memorable visit.
Amazing😮😮
Love the tour and your so awesome at narrating.
Very Beautiful 🌷
I'm speechless. I've seen many videos of ADA gallery but this one is my fav. How INSANELY gorgeous are those tanks ??? Perfectly balanced and your video does them justice. My motivation is greater than ever.
Thanks Ryo
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! All is my favorite.
Super cool love your vids!
I look forward to your uploads so much Ryo, thank you for the care and passion you put into your work and sharing this beautiful gallery ☺
Thank you very much Ryo for this wonderful video. So even people who don't have the opportunity to visit the gallery can see these beautiful aquariums🙏🏻
I’m really happy I could do a video of the gallery. Hope you enjoyed it 😊
@@RyoWatanabee Every second. A really great video. Thank you🙏🏻
Awesome tour Ryo!! Happy for you to have such an experience. Hope you are well my friend.
A delightful presentation. Thank you for such an amazing review👍
amazing tanks, one thing I have noticed is they run insanely high BPS into the tanks
Thank you for being an inspiration to your viewers and to have the consideration to go out of your way and detail every single plant and fish in the video, really shows how much you care :)
Thank you so much! It was a fun experience for me and hope you enjoyed it too 😃
Thank you for this video love it well done🎉
He really built tanks with a photographer’s eye
The best aquascape design references video
Thanks, you’re definitely right about that 😊
Cool
Wooow beatufuil ❤️
This was awesome to see! Great video Ryo! 🙂
Thank you so much ☺️
Ryo, I know how much this visit and subsequently the video would have meant to you. Thank you for sharing it with us. The biggest compliment I can give you is that you transmitted the same passion through the video. Another great work by you. Can’t wait for you to work on a new long term ADA inspired scape (nature style please).
Awesome video. 👊🏻 thank you 🙏
Thank you 🙏
MANY MANY THANKS!!!
👍🙏👍
Thank you Ryo, your vid is beautifully, with great sensitivity and appealingly done! Yes, the Manton Stone arrangement is just overwhelming, not only because it's Amanos last work but the strong impact of the stones he had chosen, their hight, their placement and the open spaces in between in conjuction with the small pebbles to both sides of the scape is for me THE masterpiece of Amano san because of its archaic and incredibly impacting simplicity. I see it as his statement in which his entire experience was expressed. Never ever should it be removed from the gallery.
I agree with you, I didn’t mention it in the video but those small manten stone pebbles are the best! Never seen anyone do that before Amano-San!
I think Inoue san's aquascape with the fissidens and buce is the highlight of this iteration of the ADA gallery. I am not sure if I like the wild looking iwagumi since I am more used to Amano san's iwagumi style which requires meticulous nurturing to showcase the hardscape. Aside from that as usual Amano san's three aquascapes still are the key highlights of the gallery. I am glad they have been immortalized with the new frame to ensure that the tanks endure over time.
Thanks for this great video Ryo ✌️
Thank you so much for watching 🤓
Thank you so much for sharing this experience 👏👏👏👏
Thank you, hope you enjoyed it ☺️
Amazing aquascape
Thank you for your comment ☺️
Ryo this is such a wonderful video. Thank you for sharing this emotional experience. Your filming, editing, voice over, its incredible and all honoring the scapers and Amano. He'd be proud. Cheers, Ryo.
I’m so glad to here this, thank you for your kind words 🥹
really cool! 진짜 멋지네요 ADA작품을 직접 보러 일본으로 한 번 가야겠네요.
Love the narration and video quality. Great job
Thank you ☺️
nice
Super nice! ❤
Thanks 🔥
Dope, thanks for this!
Thanks 🙏
Thank you for sharing! I am in the US California. Your video gave a chance to experience this gallery and aquascaping artistry I have not seen before. I have never heard of a Hakkai stone. Is that stone in your backyard or uncles? BTW great job on the back yard.
Thanks for the Video. If you ever have the opportunity to visit a Takashi Amano Photo exhibition I would be thrilled to see a Video 😊
This was such a delight to watch.
Oh btw, its so nice to see a new video from you Ryo. You've been missed.
Thank you for the upload. 😊
Edit:
Forgot to add, there is something about tank no. 5 (at the 7:36 mark of the video) that I really like.
I think this is my favorite, but all of them are beautiful.
Thank you so much for your comment! I will be trying to visit more aquarium stores moving forward ☺️
@@RyoWatanabee You're most welcome, my friend. Thank you and more power to you. 😊
You lucky fish!
I hope Philippines has this
👍👍👍
👍🏻👍🏻
👌😃

If i had a big house i would like to have a large 4 or 5 feet tank. You need lots of patience in aqua scaping, as it takes many months to get this outcome.
ADA
@RyiWatanabe What do i need to reproduce this tank at 17:42 ? plants, stones...? Thank you rfor your videos, big fan.
IS this finally open? I thought it was permenently closed? Thanks.
Rất đẹp tôi yêu nó
Hey Ryo, is the gallery a seasonal open or all year round.
Hi, I'm thinking about getting some medaka. But I have little space at hone and they would have to live in a pond outside. Do you know how hardy are they? Our winters are -11 - -13°C for 1-2 nights at most, but I also have a greenhouse, that at those nights went no cooler than -4°C. I have no option of getting cheap medaka to see how it goes because they are extremely rare where I live.
Wow great video now I really need to go their. Hope I can convince my girflriend to go on honeymoon to ADA :D Do you have more info on the nanotank at 22:35?
Is ADA gallery temporarily closed now?
Hi Ryo may i know what the name of the black stone displaying in the front gallery? Can i get it in Sg?
In first tank of this video full aquarium is covered with all side which metal frame is this
My favourite tank is at 14:36, can anyone give me a rundown of the plants used, e.g the mid and foreground green are these mosses? and looks like Ludwiga for the red stems, not massive amount of variety but gives such a stunning look!
@mindgame01
Hello there. Ryo was kind and thoughtful, that he added a complete list of all the plants and animals, that were featured in his video.
Just scroll through the comment section, of this same video, and find Ryo's second comment.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe the plants you were asking about are all found at no. 9 of the list. :)
Is that an upcoming Solar RGB 2 at 10:42? What does the display read?
I‘m curious as well!
what carpet plant is that used on Takashi Amanos center piece aquarium? is it pearlweed?
Its Utricularia graminifolia.
Pretty finicky carpeting plant
