In real life if you don't let off the throttle when you hit a jump it will cause the car to nose dive. Not sure if this game has those physics. But if it does it might help your landings.

Having an expensive wheel, won't make you Collin Mcrae. And having a cheap wheel wont make your car heavy. As long as you know what are you doing and got the technic for it, you can do that entry using a keyboard.

The Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2 is awesome! One of my favorite rally cars from the Group B!
And it's a monster machine for sure, alongside Delta S4, etc. 500hp (if i'm not mistaken), mid-engine, all wheel drive.
1:16 It’s not a time saver and it’s weird but I love it! You don’t have to do the 360 entry but in a way it gives Henrik more control coming from the hill into the crest because with the 360 he centrifugally dispersed the kinetic energy of the car while still being able to hit the hill at max throttle and maintain control with the car comes back around facing forwards, so it actually is more beneficial than just being for show. Still that was amazing I did not see that coming bro!
If you never drove this car on dirt you can’t understand how much his hard and funny at the same time. This thing is a MONSTER

I was several times in a race like this in real life as a co-pilot and pilot too. With a peugeot 205 turbo. It was orange with the number 23. No liveries, commercials or whatever and we had a white one too for parts or as a second car. It was a wild experience... I was with an experienced driver. He was crazy I might add. We never did it to become pros though, just for the freaking love of it...
That 360 was so good that even Codemasters featured it on their social media.
This might be the most POG-dense thing I've ever seen. Not sure I've ever seen someone style on a *map*

@@mkrmaa472 dirt 2 is a huuuuge step towards sim, that's why i took it while it was on sale. Still, cars seem to glide over the ground and some behavior seems scripted (e g if you hit the brakes before a turn, it gives you insane amount of grip for 0.5 secs )

I'm thinking of getting dirt rally 2.0 for my birthday or Christmas, I was just wondering if it is a good investment. I already got a wheel, pedals with clutch, and a stick shift. Do I need to by a hand brake?
I've got only the wheel and the pedals and i enjoy that a lot
It should be enough to bind a button as a handbrake, no need to buy one

Madre mia, yo fui amante de los juegos de coche durante muchos años, pero estamos en el 2021 y el sonido de los motores y el escape en la mayoría de juegos de coches sigue siendo prácticamente igual que hace 20 años, son tan falsos que a mi por lo menos me sacan de la experiencia por muy buenos gráficos que tenga.
Espero que algun dia se den cuenta y pongan más atencion en el apartado sonoro.
