Mine does this as well, baaaaad. Already had the box replaced with rando aftermarket a few months before I got it. Gonna try to adjust it before I replace it. I need ball joints and bushings too, its gonna be a journey to perfection with this truck. It had a lifetime of abuse and now its time for a major refresh. So many projects on my horizon...no time to slack 🎉
I have heard bad things about red tops. They only last 3 to 4 months and poor quality control. They say blue top is better. Please review and let us know
I wanna do the 6.7 steering box on my 6.0. That’s the best there is in my opinion. Red head is great too. Heck you can always upgrade the pulley gear and get more pressure to make the steering lighter. Just need a longer belt to accommodate for it.
I have the same exit call my 97 Ford truck and can you help me and let me know because we can’t get it. No fuel pump to prime. Me know have a great day

Man, Redhead is good, but you missed an opportunity not going with PSC Motorsports in Azle, Texas. Their gears and steering systems are THE BEST.
Ive heard nothing but bad reviews from redhead gear boxes, at least with jeeps and duramaxs
@@jacknelson9440really? For me it’s just the opposite
@@jacknelson9440 I have one in my duramax. its been great.
Looks like they don't offer anything for these older trucks.

PSC Motorsports gears with a Lee Power Steering Saginaw pump. Check it out.
@@edwardman1742I just looked and they don’t have anything for a 92-97 f250/350
going to install a new shaft too?
