Great video! I too have the Accord Touring on H&R Sport Springs and I have the same experience, I prefer the feeling of the suspension on sport but don't want to be in sport all the time and also wish the suspension was stiffer on sport (I've driven on coilovers for many years so it's what I'm used to). Great videos by the way! Did you gain a bigger handling improvement from the rear sway bar or lowering springs? I'm contemplating doing just the sway if it improves the body roll well enough. Car sits pretty low as is..so may avoid the drop. Thanks!
Thank you for the positive comment 👍. It’s difficult to say witch was more impactful without having each on the car by themselves. With that said, the ADS of the Touring model does a great job limiting body roll, and the addition of the rear sway bar while not drastic did help dial it in further and to a point that I was very happy with.

Not sure if you saw DC Sports is dropping a system soon, I believe it’s out of preorder tomorrow! I wanna go with something a little on the quieter side. I did see the announcement regarding the release of the DC Sports exhaust and was tempted, but at 3” I think it may be too loud for me. Like you, I’m looking for function but not too crazy - I’m considering the Thermal exhaust.
The Lemon Factor! I love this lip. The Akasaka front lip seemed like a lot of hassle for this 50 year old to install. Lol. This one looks great. Got it for $70. Ordered the matching side skirts today from wish. $40. Car will look so good being white with black ground effects. I just bought my 2020 touring last Friday and already put 17 mods on her. Really want to do the sway bar & springs but I am not as talented as you with the installation. Would have to go to a shop. But so far loving the car!! How can I send you a pic of the car?
Again, another great informative video. Have you had any kind of weight in the back seat or trunk? Sometimes that can help settle the springs a little faster. I was wondering if you planned to do the chrome delete on the lower trim pieces as well? Also, are those your factory wheels? I have been searching for a rim that looks like an upgraded stock version but haven’t had any luck and during this video yours stood out. Thanks for the info again and I can’t wait for the exhaust video, hopefully in the near future?
Thank you, Clinton King 👍 I did not add any additional weight to accelerate the settling of the springs, well except my kids 😉 I was considering the chrome delete for the bottom chrome, but instead of black going with white 🤔. My rims are a factory upgrade. I like the look, but they’re on the heavy side. Thanks for the support. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I second the exhaust suggestion! I'm really interested in an exhaust soon and would love to see you showcase one for us. I love your videos as I'm a 2.0 sport owner and plan for minimal mods in the future.

Nice vid, Chad. Thanks for following up on the handling. I've got a 2019 2.0 6spd manual, so I'm not so sure your experience in "normal" mode will be a factor for me. Nevertheless, moving forward with the rear sway based on your recommendation! Then I'll consider the springs.
@@TheLemonFactor that’s good to hear , I have been researching the springs and Eibach is recommending a camber kit , which drives up the cost quit a bit. Let me know if you notice any premature tire wear.
Hey, are they still holding up well? I’ve got your identical car and this is the most helpful channel out there! I have myself a dilemma, I can buy a set of Tein Flex Z’s and I’m curious if that’s the right approach. They do make an ADS cancel kit themselves now, which is nice. I’m worried about picking the Eibach kit instead and blowing out my stock shocks that have 65k miles of wear on them. Have you had to replace suspension components yet and did you need a rear camber arm kit to get yourself dialed into stock specs like others need to?
So far, no signs of any premature wear of the shocks. I'm still very happy with the Eibach springs, and would do it again. Although my alignment is not true to spec, it's not off by much, and with regular tire rotations, I have not experienced any uneven wear.
@@TheLemonFactor Thank you! I actually had purchased that HiRev V3 lip right before I found your channel so thats convinent. I've watched all of your Eibach videos, and I didn't see you mention your new front clearance with the new ride height and front lip. What is the height from the ground to your lip? Have you had any bottoming out issues or scraping?
Awesome video, thank you so much!! So if you went with 20x10.5 rims, what do you think the ride quality would be like then? Just based upon your experiences.
That’s big! In general the smaller the aspect ratio the less tire to absorb road harshness. And with a 10.5 rim you’ll have plenty of contact patch, but maybe too much. Of course the tire itself will also impact feel. Strictly regarding ride quality, I’m sure you’ll notice a degradation.
@@TheLemonFactor so would you think 20" diameter is okay, but stick with the factory width of 9"? My theory is I want the same exact suspension kit as you, but with 20s it will hide just a little more fender gap. I also feel it will take less stress off the factory struts/shocks.
Looks amazing with that drop, now regarding the Accord alone are you getting any rattling noise inside the cabin while driving? If yes have you figure out how to fix the noise? Thanks
@@TheLemonFactor have you consider chrome delete on the bottom n bumper moldings? Since you have the white n black going I will white vinyl wrap it to match to body. Again just a thought.
@@TheLemonFactor I'm having them installed next week , can't wait. Your video was the the information I was looking for to make my decision, thank you. I will let you know once I've had them for a few weeks, if they look as good as they do on your car I will be very happy.
Can you tell me about comfort? I’m sure they aren’t as comfortable as the stock springs but how much worse? I want it but I’m 51. I can handle the rough ride. Awesome video thanks.
They do firm things up a bit, but the OEM Tourings shocks handle them quite nicely 👍. It’s a tighter ride, with little impact to its ability to absorb bumps.
So I plan on lowering my 16 Camry se that I got used so I’m going to replace the struts as well with Tein enduropro plus adjustable damping “OE” struts. I was wondering if you or anyone had input on eibach vs H&R vs Tein springs?? Eibach was THE go to when I was young so they’re all I really know about.
Eibach and H&R continue to be strong leaders in the industry with quality products 👍. I didn’t include Tein only because I haven’t had a lot of direct personal experience with them, but I know of several people who use them and are happy especially at the price point.
The H&R OE Sports are much better than the Eibach Pro Kit in my opinion. The Tokiko Blues are also better than the Tein Endurapro. I have the Pro Kit, Endura Pro's on my 2018 Accord with the camber kit which is necessary if you want to look stock and not wear the tires out. I have had H&R, Neuspeed and Eibach. H&R seems to be a better less bouncy ride.
Good question... I'd have to remeasure, which i haven't done in a while. However, just the other day I was staring at the wheels feeling very pleased with how the fender gap has vanished.
Hello! I have a few questions regarding camber arms and ball joints. When my eibach sport springs were installed, for a while there would be sounds when ever I would turn my steering wheel when I was back out or if I turned it drastically. I took it to a shop that specializes in suspension and they said nothing was wrong. I did some asking around, and some folks came to the same problem. The problem being the ball joints. Would it be wise to get the joints replaced? As for camber arms, eibach sells rear arms, which I have installed, but I’m not sure about the front arms. Where and what camber arms would you recommend to get?
Without a rear camber kit you’re unable to adjust the camber - any change in ride height will impact your camber. I opted not to install a camber kit as the drop in ride height was only 1”, which did impact my camber, but not drastically. I will be keeping a close eye on the tires AND rotating them sticking to a strict schedule. If I see abnormal wear I will end up installing a rear camber kit. If I dropped the car any lower than I did, then I would have installed a camber kit. Hope this helps.
I give that lip about a month lol. The stock shocks are not gonna last. I tried it and it got real bouncy real fast. I have the pro kit and the camber kit. I just last week installed the Tein Endurapro struts. They are much better than stock. Not as good as the Tokiko Blues but they dont make them yet for 10th gen
Hi, quick question. So does that model and the 1.5T the suspensions changes when switching from normal to sports mode? Like do they lower a little and get stiffer? I’m sorta confused. Pls help. Thanks
The 10th Gen Honda Accord was offered with the optional adjustable suspension on the 2.0 Touring, but it does not allow you to actively change the ride height.
Hey I have the same black rims have had them for a year and half now and having clear coat issues and around the edge where tire meets rim paint and clear starting to come off. Your doing it yet?
I’m at a decision point. Recently sold my classic mini leaving me with the 2018 Accord Sport as my remaining fun car. Recently had the dumb (brilliant?) idea of selling the accord as well and getting a mid 2000s 911. That would be in about 18 months so both kids would be in booster seats. Anyway the other finically responsible idea is to mod the accord. Spend $3000 on rear sway bar, coil overs and ktuner or $2500ish on speakers. Or do nothing and save the cash for 911 (or M2?).
That’s a tough decision - having owned a Porsche, they are great cars 🤔. The Accord is such a well rounded car, a great bargain, and comparatively speaking reasonably cheap to modify.
@@TheLemonFactor Yeah the accord is sooooo cheap to own. Even taking it to the dealer is not where as much as my old 2012 BMW 535i that we traded for the Accord. First time the dealer told me how much brakes cost i asked "for one corner?" :-)
Did you roll your fenders? I have an 18 accord sport 2.0 and I’m planning on installing them tomorrow. In the video they looked rolled and I was curious. Thanks!
Bottom line; the springs cause a worse ride. When you say you feel bumps more, this is a result of the springs being less forgiving. When you say it's a little bouncy, this is a result of the shocks traveling more on a shorter spring. This is not being "nit-picky." The ride quality has been degraded as a result of the springs. Call it for what it is. Don't sugar coat the issue.
@@TheLemonFactor I appreciate the added feedback, especially since you've used this setup for at least 2 years since this video was uploaded. The reason it interests me is because I bought the Eibach Pro Kit springs for my car, along with Bilstein B6 shocks. I have not installed them yet. Initial research indicated these springs and shocks would be a good pairing. However, other feedback I've seen in other youtube videos seems to indicate that maybe it's less than optimal and possibly would wear out the shocks sooner as these shocks are designed to be an OEM replacement that performs better than OEM or is more durable than OEM... hard to accurately characterize since I've heard different characterizations. While talking with an Eibach representative, they indicated the shocks should work well with the Pro Kit since they indicated their spring, and I'll paraphrase since this is not a quote, as an better performing OEM replacement even though it lowers the car 30mm, and therefore an OEM style shock should be good. While watching a video from FCP Euro specifically about Bilstein B4, B6, B8 and one more shock that I cannot remember at this time, they indicated (again, I'm paraphrasing and this is not a quote) the B8 is designed for a lowering spring. As you can see, I'm getting mixed messages from many sources. The ones I mentioned are not the only sources. This is why hearing your characterization of the spring/shock setup is important to me. My hope and my goal is to have a slightly better performing suspension than OEM with very little sacrifice to ride quality. This is why I bought the Eibach Pro Kit and Bilstein B6, but again, I have not installed them yet out of concern that maybe it's a bad setup. Any and all feedback (the more detailed and specific the better) is greatly appreciated. Now that you know my situation, and as a driver who has practical experience with Eibach and Bilstein, is there anything you might say about my situation? I appreciate your feedback.

After installing the sport line kit I know I will need an alignment but will I need camber adjusting arms?
Without a rear camber kit you’re unable to adjust the camber - any change in ride height will impact your camber. I opted not to install a camber kit as the drop in ride height was only 1”, which did impact my camber, but not drastically. I will be keeping a close eye on the tires AND rotating them sticking to a strict schedule. If I see abnormal wear I will end up installing a rear camber kit. If I dropped the car any lower than I did, then I would have installed a camber kit. Hope this helps.
I'm mounting pilot 4 a/w this Saturday. I opted for 245/40 R19. Can I expect any wheel-well hits using your spring setup?
I wouldn’t expect any. You should be good 👍
I give that lip about a month lol.
@@TheLemonFactor i see. Thanks for the info.
Great job again !
Thank you. Appreciate the positive feedback.
Hey I have the same black rims have had them for a year and half now and having clear coat issues and around the edge where tire meets rim paint and clear starting to come off. Your doing it yet?
A little curb rash on one rim, but otherwise they’re holding up quite well. However, I don’t have too many miles on mine - you?
@@TheLemonFactor i have about 45k on them
Something I’ll keep an eye on. Thanks for letting me know.
What is the Tire Specs ?
These are the stock upgrade 235/40/19s.
Did you put wheel spacer?
I have not added wheel spacers.
Enjoyed the video
Thank you. 👍
😂. Let me know what you ultimately decide on.
Did you roll your fenders? I have an 18 accord sport 2.0 and I’m planning on installing them tomorrow. In the video they looked rolled and I was curious. Thanks!
Good luck with your install. I do not have my fenders rolled.
I have a 2018 Honda Accord LX do you know what I should torque down the lug nuts to ???
I don’t have it with me, but I do reference the torque setting in the install video and the tire rotation video - check em out 👍
Do u have a part number?
Whats the part number?
Nice video
Thank you. Appreciate your positive feedback 😁
great video!!!
Thank you!
Throw some spacers up there to flush everything up and call it a day.
Or get some new lightweight rims and sticky tires 🤔😁
Whats the point of lowering my car
Look it up bruh
Bottom line; the springs cause a worse ride. When you say you feel bumps more, this is a result of the springs being less forgiving. When you say it's a little bouncy, this is a result of the shocks traveling more on a shorter spring. This is not being "nit-picky." The ride quality has been degraded as a result of the springs. Call it for what it is. Don't sugar coat the issue.
I've had them on the car for several years now and love them. Not sure where you get that the cause a "worse ride"?
@@TheLemonFactor 7:16 to 8:03 in your own words.
It’s a different ride, as to be expected, but one that I quickly got used, and very much prefer.

Thats total waste of money
why is it a total waste of money?
Super informative, appreciate you champ 💪🏼
