I have a white 2.0 EXL and I’ve done the swat bar upgrade. I also put aftermarket wheels on it, but I’ve already decided when my tires wear out I’m going to upgrade to 19 inch wheels. After that I will decide on lowering springs or coil-overs. I also installed the OEM deck lid spoiler so I’m kind of converting my EXL into a sport edition.
I drive a 2004 Honda Accord Euro (Acura TSX in the US), and it's lowered with the exact same Eibach springs for the last 10 years. My roads are very harsh and I've never had to replace my factory shocks, I've got probably more than 100.000 miles with the Eibach springs and 160.000 total.
Great video, I think the key to the Pro-kits, is that they're installed with relatively fresh shocks/struts.....those that have had bad experiences are probably installing them on worn out or tired struts. They probably will wear them slightly faster, but not faster than riding on rough roads, or carrying loads.
agree on not beeing too concerned with “blowing stock shocks” with Pro-Kit. I have had the Pro-Kit on my 13-year old evo for that same amount of time, still no problem. Thanks for the review, I’ll get them for my 2021 Sport 2.0T.
Excellent video. Thank you for the support of the Accord 2.0 community. Bought these today off your recommendation. Already have the Progress RSB. Looking forward to a better overall stance.
Thank you! Yes, I’ve been on the Eibach springs for a while now and I’m very happy with the decision to go with them, and would still recommend them 👍😁

So I have a 1.5 Sport CVT. I’m looking at this exact kit but want to add front and rear sway bars. Couple questions for you..... 1 - do you still have the rear sway bar on with this review? 2 - how come you didn’t install the front sway bar also? 3 - how do think all 3 would perform together. Thanks in advance! Great channel
@thelemonfactor! Oh, also... I have the same wheels as your car. What do you think about a 10mm Eibach wheel spacer to pull the stance out a little bit toward the fender? have you done this?
I do still have the rear sway bar. An upgraded front bar is not needed - I mention why in the sway bar install video. I’m very happy with this setup. One thing to be aware of is the drop on the 1.5 is different than the 2.0.
@@TheLemonFactor Thank you!! The drop on the 1.5 is suppose to be a little less. I'm fine with that, I just want to close a little gap and hopefully improve handling without adversely affecting the car.

Awesome video, appreciate you taking the time to explain it in detail for us. I am curious though, have you had any issues with lights coming on because of the change in the suspension? I doubt it, yet I always like to check. Picked up an 18 2.0 touring last year and have lots of plans for it including springs because of the dampening system.
Congratulations on your new car 👍. I have not had any issues, including unwanted dash lights as a result of upgrading the springs 😁. Knock on wood, everything has been working great together, and I’m still happy with the results.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience in a positive manner! Just bought a 22 Hybrid Touring and this is prob my first mod. I appreciate your comment of feeling more control with sport mode on :^D Cheers!
Great content..any use of spacers and issues associated? I would want the drop along with a flush fender alignment. Is yours sitting just inside the fender?
Thank you for the watch and positive comment. 👍. Currently no use of spacers until I upgrade the rims, then based on the offset will decide if they’re needed.
Great videos bro, just subscribed to your channel. I’m waiting for my accord Sport SE to arrive , should be anytime now. I live in NYC and pretty much the roads here are horrible . My question is when you hit a pothole or any imperfection on the road do you feel a great difference , any knocking or thumping when hitting a pothole ?
Thanks for the support and sub 👍 Congratulations on your new car - you must be counting down the days to its arrival 😁. It’s not too bad, although I can’t say that I’ve hit a lot of major road imperfections to rightfully say 🤷♂️
Thanks for the info! I am in the mix regarding getting a camber kit. I love my car, and do not want to cause harm to after doing modifications. Just concerned of the wear in the inner part of the tire. These are my alignment results, your thoughts? Rear Camber -2.2 & -3.4 Front Camber -0.3 & - 1.0
These springs provide a very modest drop (but still noticeable). An alignment was able to bring them almost back to spec. With regular tire rotations I have not experienced any abnormal tire wear 👍
@@TheLemonFactor I currently have the H&R lowering springs, and the car looks amazing, just stuck on the rear camber kit, should I get it installed or not. Thanks for your videos!!
first, excellent videos and information for the enthusiast. 2nd, I have another question about the Eibach Pro Kit. I know its roughly a 1" drop (the most mild of any on the market). I know 1" drop is minmal, I'm looking for just a slight variation of stock look and improved handling. I take my car to a regular mechanic or the dealer for all maintenance. I go for oil changes, tire rotation, etc.. I know I'll need an alignment after the drop. Should I be concerned about getting the car on a regular lift for said maintenance? What did you experience when you went for your alignment, did you have to go to a "special" shop?
First, thank you for the positive comment and support 😉. Second, it’s a good question - I have not taken the car to a dealership, but would be very surprised if they couldn’t handle it given it’s only a 1” drop. When I took the car to an alignment specialist they had no issues performing the alignment. You should be good, but it will all depend upon the setup of the place you’re taking your car to.
Question may be redundant but whats the ride like with the car full of passengers? Any tire rub or other issues? Well done on all of your videos by the way.
Thank you for the positive feedback and support. Good question, and although I’ve only had kids as passengers in the back seat, I’ve not noticed any change in the ride 👍
Interested in if you show up at Honda's service if the car is under warranty if they will void any suspension work due to the lowered springs? I had a Honda recall in the past on suspension, and Honda completely replaced the entire front suspension system due to their fault. I get you maybe taking a chance, and I know in the past most of my Honda's have been bullet proof so to speak.
If you’re trying to get warranty work done on the suspension, I wouldn’t be surprised if they do give you hard time. However, they shouldn’t if it’s for an unrelated matter.
Appreciate your follow up video. Your car sits nicely. i'm pretty much sold on the same springs. For my sport 2.0. I have 9.5 width wheels which should help with some of the rear wheel camber, and if I get some 25mm spacers I might just be spot on.... Any thoughts on my setup going that route with what I said?
Quick answer is yes, the springs at on the OEM shocks. The long answer is to checkout some of my other videos where I go through the spring selection process and the actual install as I include some good information 👍
Admittedly I haven’t driven the car as much as I would like to, however, I’m still very much enjoying them. The lowered stance and more sporty suspension feel is exactly what I was hoping for 👍
I have a 2018 civic and I’m thinking about putting on Eibach lowering springs. How the car running now? since it’s been 10 months since this video. Should I go for it?
Good question. I generally keep the cars until I become board with it, which could be 2-4 yrs. I’m still very much enjoying my Accord, so I don’t expect I’ll be getting rid of it anytime soon 👍😁
@@TheLemonFactor ha ha ha. I’m the same way! But this accord feels like a unicorn to me. I do not. So far I haven’t needed to. Although the alignment is slightly out of spec, with regular tire rotation I am not experiencing any uneven wear. 😁
I'm trying to improve drive quality for my daily. It's an 09 Kia Proceed (Just bought it) and was wondering if getting better than factory springs like these would help?
Springs still treating you well? Now that you have had them for this long, just curious to see how those factory touring struts are holding up. Thanks!!
Still going strong 💪 but realistically if they’re going to prematurely fail, then my guess would be that it would happen with many more miles on them than I have 🤷♂️
@@TheLemonFactor thanks for the update! I know they will fail sooner than factory, but I don’t drive much these days. Still thinking this is my best route for now. Then go full coils when the factory ones give out. Thanks again!! Looking forward to seeing your 0-60 video with some tunes.
I too believe they’ll fail a little sooner than otherwise, but how soon will depend on the quality of your roads and driving style - ie how much your stressing the OEM shocks. Even when they do fail the replacement cost will be cheaper than a good set of aftermarket coilovers.
I am new to all of this, but I am a computer geek so I purchased the KTuner (Loaded stage 2.1 Dual Tune) and wow. So springs are my next step. Eibach has the pro plus kit with the sway bars. Necessary or even advised?
so i should be fine lowering my accord with the eibach pro kit? my wheel set up is 20x10 with 275/30/20s all around. I dont want to lower it anymore than an inch
I just picked up a 20 Touring and was interested in these springs too. I have one question though, will doing this void any warranty with Honda? I'm glad that the drop is closer to 1" which is perfect for me. I eventually want to put some 20s on this so that fitment will be even better.
Each dealer will undoubtedly approach it differently, but technically speaking they have to prove that your mod was the cause of the problem, then they can deny you warranty coverage.
Yeah like he said. For example if your engine blew up they can’t say it’s because of your lowering springs. But say one of shocks went dead...your springs are probably not the reason but they will definitely use that against you.
There is definitely less squat, and lean, but the rear sway bar helped even more so with the lean. Overall the Eibach springs make everything a bit tighter, giving it a more sporty feel 👍
It can't void your entire bumper to bumper warranty. They can't deny you a warranty claim for a faulty window motor due to you having lowering springs, but they can deny you coverage for something suspension related, claiming that the springs somehow caused the problem. Of course, each dealership is different when it comes to how they view and support (or not) aftermarket parts.
I’ve had good experience with Eibach products 👍. If you do go with the Sportlines, make sure you get a rear camber kit as the further drop will put your camber even more out of spec. I opted to go conservative with the springs as I’m still using the stock shocks and want to make sure that they can handle them.
Thank you for watching the videos and your support 👍. I’m currently looking at Hondata and KTuner and I’m sure will eventually look at the flex fuel options.
Not that I’m currently aware of, but KTuner or Hondata could have a feature that helps that I’m not aware of. Once I purchase one, I’ll be reviewing all of the capabilities.
What do you recommend for a 2019 accord LX? I have the 20in replica sport rims with same size tires honda uses on their 20in rims they put on some of their accords and I want to lower it just enough to get rid of the gap. This is my daily driver but I hate that gap. Which is the best springs for my car that you recommend? Thank you
The Sportlines will drop the car even further. With the increased drop you’ll be further out of alignment spec. As such, I would recommend getting the camber kit to correct it.
@@TheLemonFactor thank u for the advice I like the ride of the touring thats why I'm going springs not coilovers I saw your video on them where you said I could lose adaptive suspension and I'd have that light on.
The Sportlines also have a more aggressive spring rate than the ProKit which will change the dynamics even further away from the OEM shock/spring setup - I don’t know how the ride would be, but I would expect that you’ll be making the ADS work even harder, potentially leading to quicker wear of the shocks.
To be honest I didn’t think the 0.8 inch drop for the pro-kit would be enough for me but the drop for the sport line is just a bit too low. I’m debating on maybe going H&R which is around 1.2 but after this video i might just go with the pro-kit.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. I was very close to buying the H&R springs. I’ve had good experience with Both Eibach and H&R, so it was a coin flip. I’d be interested in hearing what you end up with and what you think of them. 👍
@@TheLemonFactor So after a lot of thought and debating with myself i ended up going all out and went with the full sport-plus kit. Front and rear swaybars, springs, endlinks and i also ordered the rear camber arms. Can’t wait till they arrive and really dial in my 2.0
Do the spring make squeaky noise? Because I lower my springs not to long ago on my 2.0t I hear a lot squeaky noise I have to take back to the shop several times and still come out the same results plus I did the camber arms kit on both rears.
A certified mechanic should have no problem installing springs, or you can try it yourself assuming you have the tools, time, and feel comfortable enough 🤷♂️. Check out my install video for the details.
@@TheLemonFactoractually my local mechanic refused due to liability reasons. I totally understand that since it’s an aftermarket part and modding the suspension.
I did not install a camber kit, although one is recommended. I did have an alignment done once the springs settled and where adjustments can be made everything came very close to recommended specs, so I opted to wait and see. I’m very good about rotating my tires and have yet to find any uneven wear - although my tires are long-life and I haven’t put a lot of miles on them 🤷♂️
Does anyone know any aftermarket lowering parts that can support a 10th gen Honda Accord hybrid? I’m not sure if you can even lower a hybrid because of the extra weight from the battery. Please anyone lmk id appreciate it
I don’t know. But I would check that everything is installed and torqued down correctly. Those springs are pretty aggressive for the stock shocks - I’d be concerned about prematurely wearing them out. You’ll also need a camber kit and a proper alignment as I’m sure your camber is way out of spec.
Ok cool thanks man! You sure did get a new subscriber! 2 more question should I just do the front alignment now so I can be able to drive it? The camber will only wear out my tires correct? Sorry it's My first time with fixing up a car.

It is noticeable, but certainly not necessary. You’ll only notice it on tight, higher speed corners.
So how they feel when you floor it with the new whp you have gain? In low speeds and high speeds
Way more stable in high speeds?
There is definitely less squat, and lean, but the rear sway bar helped even more so with the lean. Overall the Eibach springs make everything a bit tighter, giving it a more sporty feel 👍
Put mine on two days ago
How do you like them?
Did you replace the champer
Great job looking to buy
Worth the money 👍
Did road noise get any better/worse?
No change in road noise 👍
Want to get them but my dealership said it would void warranty. True?and is there anyways around that?
It can't void your entire bumper to bumper warranty. They can't deny you a warranty claim for a faulty window motor due to you having lowering springs, but they can deny you coverage for something suspension related, claiming that the springs somehow caused the problem. Of course, each dealership is different when it comes to how they view and support (or not) aftermarket parts.
No need to camber??? Can you post a picture of Joe the rear tires look
Any feedback if I install on a Tesla Y?
What are your thoughts on the sportline kit from eibach?
I’ve had good experience with Eibach products 👍. If you do go with the Sportlines, make sure you get a rear camber kit as the further drop will put your camber even more out of spec. I opted to go conservative with the springs as I’m still using the stock shocks and want to make sure that they can handle them.
Hey I’ve seen a lot of ur videos about the accord have you seen or looked into the flex fuel kit hondata apparently says it adds 60 horsepower
Thank you for watching the videos and your support 👍. I’m currently looking at Hondata and KTuner and I’m sure will eventually look at the flex fuel options.
@@TheLemonFactor is there anyw ay to add a launch control feature to the accord ?
Not that I’m currently aware of, but KTuner or Hondata could have a feature that helps that I’m not aware of. Once I purchase one, I’ll be reviewing all of the capabilities.
@@TheLemonFactor awsome thank you!
How is the noise level brother?
👍
Thank you brother appreciate all your reviews great job.. I have a 2018 1.5 and getting it right and you have been a fantastic guide . Thank you
I’m glad to hear that you find the videos helpful! 👍. Thank you for leaving a supportive comment 😁
Thank you
Have you checked out my videos on springs and coilovers - you may find them helpful in making your decision.
Does it affect that the touring has adjustable dampers?
Next time watch the vid with the sound on
Are these 19" inch wheels? Also, is the sidewall of the tire to factory spec? Or wider?
Yes, these are the Honda OEM optional upgraded 19” rims 👍
@@TheLemonFactor Appreciate that. Tires are factory spec also?
Tires are factory spec size 👍
I have a 1.5 touring I'm thinking about putting the eibach lowering springs but the other kit not the pro the red ones.
Megan Racing or Eibach Pro ?
Great video!
I’m glad you liked it 😁. Thank you for your supportive comment 👍
Can’t wait till they arrive and really dial in my 2.0
Can I put these on a 2018 hybrid base model?
I recommend you check with Eibach to see.
Hey I just have the 2.0 sport 2018 will these still fit?
What size springs are u using?
eibach pro kit 0.8
Looks good !
Thank you!
Would the lowering springs void your factory warranty ?
All it would void is anything suspension related
Do the spring make squeaky noise? Because I lower my springs not to long ago on my 2.0t I hear a lot squeaky noise I have to take back to the shop several times and still come out the same results plus I did the camber arms kit on both rears.
I’ve installed a few springs in my life and I haven’t had any of the squeak 🤷♂️
What size ur wheels? 19”?
Yes, they’re 19’ 👍
My favorite car
It still impresses me how much this car has to offer 👍
Where can I get these installed?
A certified mechanic should have no problem installing springs, or you can try it yourself assuming you have the tools, time, and feel comfortable enough 🤷♂️. Check out my install video for the details.
@@TheLemonFactoractually my local mechanic refused due to liability reasons. I totally understand that since it’s an aftermarket part and modding the suspension.
Does your warranty become void if you install lowering springs/coilovers?
The dealer may give you a hard time about covering a repair under warranty if it can be attributed to the lowering springs.
@@TheLemonFactor Have you experience any issues with camber since you installed your springs or did you end up installing the camber kit?
I did not install a camber kit, although one is recommended. I did have an alignment done once the springs settled and where adjustments can be made everything came very close to recommended specs, so I opted to wait and see. I’m very good about rotating my tires and have yet to find any uneven wear - although my tires are long-life and I haven’t put a lot of miles on them 🤷♂️
@@TheLemonFactor Got you, keep up the great work with the video
Thank you 👍
Thank you you really help 😅👍🏾
My pleasure! Happy to hear that you enjoyed the video 😁👍
I have a 1.5 LX would you recommend me having just the springs with OEM suspension? Or having the full kit?
Does anyone know any aftermarket lowering parts that can support a 10th gen Honda Accord hybrid? I’m not sure if you can even lower a hybrid because of the extra weight from the battery. Please anyone lmk id appreciate it
I just installed 2" d2 springs on Honda Accord 2.0 touring, and after install and I drive it shakes very bad, at like 35mph? Any idea what it can be?
I don’t know. But I would check that everything is installed and torqued down correctly. Those springs are pretty aggressive for the stock shocks - I’d be concerned about prematurely wearing them out. You’ll also need a camber kit and a proper alignment as I’m sure your camber is way out of spec.
I see ok, so should I get the camber before the alignment?
Yes, as you’ll need the camber kit installed in order to perform the alignment and get your camber back to spec (or at least closer to it).
Ok cool thanks man! You sure did get a new subscriber!
2 more question should I just do the front alignment now so I can be able to drive it? The camber will only wear out my tires correct? Sorry it's My first time with fixing up a car.
I’d focus on fixing the shaking you’re experiencing first, as that’s concerning. Then install the camber kit, followed by an alignment.
Hi I installed Eibach pro kit spring and my car still look stock high ..they say is should drop 1.3 inch front n back but my car still look the same ..do you know why or do I need to wait cause I be driving for almost two weeks but the car only drop a little bit not work ...if you know why please let me know thank
No still figure why not haven't drop as I expect
Would these work for my 15 Accord Sport? 🥲
Eibach does sell lowering springs specific to the 2015 model year Accord 👍
How many inches did you drop with this kit? Was thinking about d2 springs they have a 2 inch drop.
If you care about warranty. This will void the suspension warranty.
Camber
Thank you you really help 😅👍🏾
