🔨 What's the Issue?
Our RV has a massive stairwell situated between the dinette and a wall adjacent to the refrigerator, which houses all the essential controls. The catch? It's made of very thin metal on both sides, leading directly outside, making it a significant source of cold air intrusion. Plus, there's a tricky-to-access cabinet above it that adds to the spatial challenge.
🐾 A Furry Concern
Our adorable dogs, Tippy and Izzy, also find this stairwell a bit of a hazard. Izzy, in particular, has had her share of tumbles while trying to navigate around it. Safety first, right?
🛠️ DIY to the Rescue!
Fed up with the inconvenience and potential risks, we devised a DIY solution to seal off this stairwell, making our RV warmer and safer, especially for our furry friends.
