A rolling solar oven. There's a really really good reason almost all campers, rvs, motorhomes and trailers have white or silver roofs and the majority have white or light colored side walls.... good luck with your build.
With most of the weight in the back of the tiny camper you must make sure the weight on the towe hook will be at least 60 kilogram otherwize driving at higher speeds will make the camper sway out of control. Black coating on the outside will turn the inside very hot when the sun shines brightly in summer. I second the remark made earlier about the enclosure of moisture in the plywood and the subsequent rot that will appear after a fwe years. But having written all that ...... very nice job !!!
Too much weight in rear will have camper sway crazily hope you can add more weight in front of the camper as it’ll give you a lot smoother and safe towing. Amazing build👏
I’ve watched a few hundred videos on here of DIY and most professional camper builds on an equal scale and this is by far the nicest in how well laid out it is, build quality, features, and finish! Sad to see all the haters in the comments but that’s the internet for ya.
Thanks for posting this. Lots of hard work went into it. I question covering the camper with BLACK bedliner. You're just making an unnecessary oven, even with your AC unit. But it is commendable what you've done. I'm going to use some of these on my camper rebuild! 🎉🎉
With those skills, you guys could've build an off-grid tiny house and take it anywhere you wanted. Forget the camper. Re-design and add solar / rain collection then you'll be able to have power and water inside the tiny house. Weld a support to hold an e-bike. Add a plastic milk crate to the front of the e-bike, the e-bike could be use for re-supplies when off-grid. :)
I've built three campers, and there's nothing like sitting in what you've built, with the rain coming down outside,, knowing that you are warm and safe and it was down to your own skill. Also the money you saved and if anything does go wrong you know how to correct it.
Awesome, I could not duplicate what you have created, so I humbly suggest you have rain gutters or deflective trim along the top and forward side of the door.
The frame is assembled on bolts. Maintenance will be very difficult. Rivets would be much better. But this is not possible in a garage environment. So well done, great job.
Very nice. I did know a man who made a trailer from an old folding, camp bed. Dunno how he achieved this but it held a ton and a half of chopped wood. It worked a treat and probably still does. A very clever guy who I hope is still here and being clever and inventive 🙏
I have been watching quite a number of New Builds like this .I would put you in the top 2 . I used to build horse lorry's with living quarters on board in the uk .your work is excellent ,I believe you could make a very good side line making these . Pete in Ireland
Not trying to a Deby Downer ,,, i really Like the build ... at the End i noticed when it was being towed it had a slight Wobble ... You may need some weight in the front to counter ...Kind regards from New Zealand :)
Excellent work . On a side note. You can buy bigger that 8 x 4 plywood. I've had 5' x 10' sheets at half inches thick and three quarter thick when i used to work in a joinery shop for the nuclear research centre in Harwell.
Impressive ! That's wonderful ! But the black color, error. It absorbs the heat of the sun unlike white which reflects it. It could have gained a few degrees less in the middle of summer with white. But aesthetically, I love it ! It looks like “Warmex” paint with the same technique as painting speaker boxes ! It's original ! It is an ultra strong paint. He should have set up a corner to put a good big subwoofer ! 😅🔈🔉🔊
That's one of the nicest oompa loompa trailers I've ever seen. Although I think the countertop and kitchen in the back is gonna be a little too high for them to reach.
Living in a free country must be really good! Here in Brazil, to build such a semi-trailer, for camping and leisure purposes, one would have to request authorization from the traffic department agencies, fill out various paperwork, take the vehicle to be inspected and inspected and if it passes, then a document and authorization for registration and the semi-trailer would also start paying tax, the same as the motor vehicle that will tow it. In short? Damn bureaucracy and an obstacle!
You're rolling hot box is going to be like an oven on a hot day. Perhaps a paint color a little lighter that would reflect a little bit more heat might have been a good idea. Good luck
Very nice job .I well give you guys a A you well get A + . If you put fiberglass under trailer. Thet well help from getting wet from the road when it's raining. And make the trailer last a long time .But other was very great job .
Other then the build which it amazing. You didnt bolt down the shell just glued? I say this because about 2 weeks ago I seen a diy camper shell come off of the highway. Wondering if they did the same thing.

Everyone should be reporting these videos. Every single time.
I think hard to register, it is ok to keep it home only@far_outlook
Your getting hacked.
This video has nothing to do with the picture that it portrays on it. It's something totally different. Sad
Click bait. This channel sux.
That’s what I was hoping to see????
Totally. I could build a wooden box like this on wheels. I was more interested in the one of click bait. 😕 it got me again! 😂
Do you mean the thumbnail? Yeah, absolute click bait.
Yeah people have been click baiting way more lately doing this. Annoying.
A rolling solar oven. There's a really really good reason almost all campers, rvs, motorhomes and trailers have white or silver roofs and the majority have white or light colored side walls.... good luck with your build.
Thanks for the bait and switch. Where's THE GOOD ONE in the thumb nail?
Exactly🤬
Hay man haters y’all gotta stop if u don’t wanna watch then don’t watch
@@Ghosts505 They have a good build on its own. Perhaps do not use a click-bait thumbnail to get people to watch.
He has been girl catfished before... y'all be easy on him.
What can you build asshole
Black? You’re going to love that colour during the summer.
roasted alive
Also they put the heavy stuff at the end of the trailer then at the end of the video he can't do more than 20mph 😂😂
eu pensei a mesma coisa quando vi
@@MultiGIATROS you can already see it swaying when they're towing it.... it's going to "great"....
@@MultiGIATROS Plenty of videos out there explaining why the weight needs to be close to the front.
Bait switch for sure. Sham on you!
Dude made it look so easy just whipped it up n drove off. Hoo roo Mate.

Came to mention the sway. You can see it's doing it a bit already.

Damn click bait I want to see the one in the thumbnail not the one in the video
Also this video that's playing isn't his own content it's another Y tuber that made it on his channel, he just stole it.
why is the thumbnail for a different camper?
clickbait mostly, it's an AI generated image

First time seeing a build like this starting from the inside out.. genius!!
Great Job! Could you do a version with a popup roof and pass thru galley? For those bad weather days. When hanging out in the camper is a must.

That's a very intelligent design. The only thing I wonder is if one sheet of fiberglass is enough... time will show.
Great work👍👍
Really like the front wedge design! Most you see have the wedge in opposite direction, cutting into interior space.
Awesome!!! Great design.
good job team work make the dream work...
Very impressive absolutely beautiful job. Hope you both have a lot of fun. You’ve worked hard to do it right congratulations. Congratulations.
Very inspiring and motivating... good luck.. greeting from Indonesian traditional gold Prospecting 🇮🇩🙏😍🌼👍👍
After all, America is a great nation. I bow my head to you
Wow that's amazing, great job 👏, just spin the rear indicators around so it flows outwards and not inwards 😉
Looks great, I want it! Looks like like the back draft from the truck is causing your little trailer to wiggle about a little bit ⚠️

Why would you build a trailer you cant stand up in, when you do it yourself and could have anything? Also, this is not the thumbnail.
Jealous if they wanted something big they were gonna construct it
@@ConfusedHorseRacer-qr2rr I own a motor home I ain't jealous of that
@@Baka_Oppai some make them to fit under car park height barriers, less weight to tow, less obtrusive to surrounding areas, etc.
Cool trailer build! But looks like your trailer going squeaks at the rear spring perch due to friction after few years
Thank you for sharing this wonderful content. I can't wait to try out these massage techniques for myself!
I like the harbor freight trail make over all that black will make it very hot in there in the summer
Greatness personified! Happy travels , hing dai!
What a fantastic thing you both built it's amazing just think if you could build a factory making loads of them ,,, million dollar company
Well done!
Completely Inspiring! You have skills! My goal is to create something my Subaru Forester can tow.
Wow.... EXCELLENT JOB 👍 👍 👍
Unfortunately, this wow did not find any like.
great build thanks i am in process to build my camper van your videos gave me some ideas.

It looks a bit tail-heavy while driving. Does it tow Ok? I think the axels should be further towards the back
Wow it's magic of Christmas ⛄
Very Cool, great job, I hope it brings you two many happy memories and great camping trips together. Be safe! Totally enjoyed the video.
Awesome!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍
Very interesting. Super camper.
Now that was really cool very nice to be done at home very cool
Beautiful job, awesome skills. I definitely wouldn't have painted it black though, doesn't look great & absorbs sunlight

Great work!.....I would have painted it white to reflect the hot sun!...........would be cooler in summer!!
Excellent little rig. Quality build, no compressed saw dust boards being used is a plus.
