me too 😂
This did not go how I expected, it's amazing how much of the original Van was not kept and was either remade or redesigned from scratch, impressive commitment to the project. Glad I found this channel. 😎
Thanks for watching and kind words! Welcome to our channel, it's important for us. Keep on watching,we have a lot of crazy projects 😉

Ok the axe convinced me to watch the whole thing.
Thanks for watching. Hope you like this project
Very much. You all have a good sense of humor and the project is pure skill.

100% add the lights and mirror effect on the wheels
John, thanks a lot!
I'd vote add it, but don't make it blinking or constantly changing. Just keep the option to change the colour.
@@axes_garage unofficial
"infinity mirror" for sure
Idk to me it looks childish current set-up, it will be futuristic if it has an alloy rim similar to the one they used in caption which is entirely made out of glass that glows with moving fire, galaxy type of shit or flowing water effect etc...
DEFINITELY KEEP THE LIGHTED WHEELS! I was so concerned, when I first started watching this build, that would be rigged, but y'all are doing a fantastic factory like build. Nice work!
I would say make it simpler. Fewer lines. Because the infinite mirror will make more lines anyway, like a shadow.
Keep the logo in the middle

This is one of the coolest projects I've ever seen.

You should definitely put the lights in the wheels, then you can connect them to the indicator stick so that they flash orange on the left wheels when turning left and orange on the right wheels when turning right, this would be very visible and then no one could ever say that they didn't see a turn signal, very futuristic. Love the project, keep up the good work, cant wait to see the finished van.
Nice!

Thank you so much! Glad you like it. Have you seen our other crazy projects?
Am i the only one who dont understand why you brought a car in the first place. Would of been easier and cheaper to just build this from scratch as so far you have scrapped most of the original car. 🤦♂️
Ya I was wondering the same thing too, couldn't they have built a frame and it would have been easy
Yes, I was wondering the same too... No pannels, no roof, no floor, no engine... No van?
Build one then and stop consuming yourself with other peoples decisions.
Nope, as builder, it is easy to take a van first to build something. U can start from scratch, but it is not easy as you said. So the best way to get the vehicle chassis as main frame. That's what they do. The level the mechanical part will be easy if you use this method
Yes and no. They did use the frame and front suspension. Also, sometimes (like in the case of the frame extension) the project dictated changes that take more of the donor vehicle away than previously thought.
Love your innovation! This is the coolest looking Van I had ever seen! I wish this Electric Van could be in production with wings style triple solar panels that can slide in and out from the rooftop to capture that free electricity from the Sun. I hope some day this would happen! Can't wait to see your finish product

Ka Ming Cloud , thanks a lot for your interest! Great idea we'll think it over!
Great content! In the early 70’S concept car’s and trucks were in our daily life, it was a wonderful time. Every young man was drawing the car of the future and hot wheels was making them, every week a new concept car came out in the form of an affordable miniature model. Now with the help of computer’s we can finally put some into life size. Thanks! From Arkansas USA

After selling a couple homes in 2020, I'm anticipating a housing crisis in order to buy inexpensively. As a backup plan, I've been thinking about purchasing stocks. What recommendations do you have for the best time to buy? On the one hand, I keep reading and seeing trader earnings of over $500k each week. On the other side, I keep hearing that the market is out of control and experiencing a dead cat bounce. Why does this happen?

I just found you guys yesterday, but wow are you guys getting to be my fav youtubers so far, the ideas you guys come up with for some of these builds are mind blowing, I say keep the wheels because it adds to futuristic aspect of the truck, and keep up the good work!
Welcome to our channel! Thanks for watching! We like crazy projects)
This reminds me of 4th year at school and in the metal work class we were allowed to make our own 'thing'.
1st year I made a metal bottle opener, 2nd year I made a small F1 model car and 3rd year a small model tank.
By the 4th year students were encouraged to design and build their own thing.
One of my classmates came up with an idea to build a car from scratch, probably 3/4 scale, half way between a go-cart and a full sized car, we all thought he was mad and it would never happen!
How wrong we were, first he built the frame out of angle iron, then old car wheels went on, axels, a seat, steering, pedals, brakes etc before he fitted an engine he would push this home every afternoon, I guess to work on it or maybe limited space in class to store it.
Then the next morning he would push it back into school every morning.😲😳
Next an engine went in and he was driving this thing around the school yard, we were all very impressed.
It was very crude, very angular, all straight edges, not a curve anywhere, imagine the Tesla cyber truck without the aluminium panels, just a frame and you'll be close, he painted the frame red which made it look even nicer.👍
Thanks for watching. Good story
Sheeshh that's cool
that was my dream too as a id, but never had the chances or appropriate materials to make it happen
Shut up

It’s obvious that you guys know what you are doing and you must have some sort of a technical education cause it’s amazing to see what you guys are doing and I loved it. The only thing you maybe don’t know is that zink primer is not ment to be painted over because of its self sacrificing characteristic it will eventually reject other paint layers applied on top of it. That’s what the technical sheets of zinkprimer always told me and that’s why mostly epoxy primers are used. For anything else I would say keep up the absolutely great work! Looking forward to seeing the next one!
Dennis 1970, thanks for your interest 👍
I have shortened frame for trucks and doner cars and I love the way you welded the new frame it is something I will do in the future! So smart!!!

Thanks a lot! Glad you like it. Have you seen our other crazy projects?
14:20 As a car engineer & designer I see some things that could improve this, as you mention it’s not long enough, A tip for you is then to casually just shorten it from roof to floor by a couple inches to make it More smooth and not a Panzer Tank van 😂
Thanks a lot!
your welder is insanely great. greatjob
He is good, but he needs to make sure he keeps his welding mask on. 😮
From a fellow builder, try to build the layers need for the infinity mirror on a flat profile like the blank disc you made and use the rounded cover as cap untinted. You can also try stack fabrication technique to build out functional layers, easy to insert and remove. Wish I was there to tag in with yall. This looks fun!
Thanks for your opinion!

You do an amazing job, here!
I really love the idea of infinite mirrors in wheels. I was playing with that sort of thing at school.
I would suggest to make it work sort of like spinners from NFS Underground 2, that is when the car is standing, the leds pattern would spin but when a car is in motion, the pattern would spin the other way, so it appears to be standing. Therefore it would be better if there was no engraving around the rim, just a logo in the middle. The engraving should also be on the inner (mirror) side of the "sandwitch" which would remove the image being shown as pairs which kind of spoils the overall effect.
