Just bought a 2020 in shadow gray metallic last weekend after a LOT of looking around across the US (over 6000 listings... that took awhile). The car I'd describe is "firm, but predictable and planted".. there's no guesswork with this setup; the car telegraphs everything. That's a good thing in a car like this though, as there's so surprises with what to expect when you're driving it. I personally love the interior and what they've done to make it SIMPLE, but aesthetically pleasing. it's not busy in there, but it's far from boring. Overall, an excellent car and money well spent. One of my favorite changes on this car is the rev-matching function; I don't need it, but it's absolutely a cool piece of technology included in the car.

A friend of mine had a green one. It had tons of power and the handling was unbelievable. The Tremec shifted great. The interior was terribly uncomfortable and I felt very claustrophobic in it. Those Recaro seats killed my back after 30 minutes. I think the seat bottom angle put my back in a bind. It felt like I was sitting in a 5 gallon bucket. I really liked the car and would enjoy driving it if you could adjust the seat to make it comfortable.

Hmm...cold air intake and aftermarket runners, but I also see msd plugs, wires, upgraded battery wire, I wanna say upgraded battery, throttle body, and I wanna say upgraded thermostat but that part I wouldn't be able to say without actually taking it out and looking. We all know with mods like that in a place with temps like yours, the thermostat is one of the best and cheapest mod to have. 🤗🤗🤗
Thanks for the non judgmental reporting. You always seem to present info in a fair and balanced way. Long time multiple Camaro owner here. Still got two in the garage...IMO, the Camaro 1LE and the Mustang GT 350 are among the best cars out there for all around performance if you want a stick shift car that is well balanced. The right Headers and cam and tune put a bunch more horsepower in these cars. Yes. The ILE package is worth it for all the useful content you get, and it’s sorted from the factory with a warranty. As for the A10 vs M6 debate, I would love to see someone do a time comparison around a track with corners to see how much difference there is, if any between identical cars with different trans. I would also like to see Dyno comparisons with rear wheel horsepower data. The reason autos have become popular (have been for decades with drag racers) is they are more consistent. You don’t miss shifts, like you can in a manual. But are they still less efficient at putting all the power down and losing wheel horsepower compared to manuals? That was old school. Is that still the case with the new boxes? Anybody?

The experience with the 1LE will be different from a stock SS, but not radically different like between a six and eight cylinder engine. Appreciate what you can get. Stay within your means. Have fun.
Camaro SS 1LE option offers more features and class exclusive eLSD which is a big advantage over mustang. Ford PP is not the same as SS 1LE option.
@@FL50ssp Oh, no doubt. But, look at the cost! I could get two PPs added to two different Mustangs for the cost of one 1LE add on. If you have the money, sure, go for it. However, any higher and you might as well just save up for a ZL1. It's a great package, but if you have to get into serious debt to get it, you just shouldn't.
When I was looking at cars I was stuck between the 1LE or Daytona 392. It was a tough choice but man they do look sick. 🔥
I’m with ya buddy
So by that thumbnail I say you went with mopar.
The 1LE is not worth it for me because I will never track my car. My car has the magnaride suspension which is more than adequate for street or canyon carving.
Actually that is a 1ss 1le. If it were a 2ss, it would have an extra button on the steering wheel for heated wheel, as well as the lighting package, Bose, dual climate control, heated /vented seats, memory seats, and a few extra things.
I wondered that.. It was a bit confusing because when I checked the VIN it showed up as 2ss car. Perhaps I am missing something
Perhaps he is lying lol for the views
@@RacerX9 you can have a 1ss 1le or a 2ss 1le. The 1le is just the track package. I was informing people that just because you have a 1le doesn't mean you get nav, Bose, heated /cooled seats, memory seats etc. You will regardless of 1/2ss get leather back seats, recaro front suede leather seats, suede steering wheel/shifter, short throw, gm track suspension +mag ride, Zl1 rear diff, no lift shift is at 5,000 rpm (6,400 for normal ss), ptm race modes, hud, those sweet ss 1le forged wheels (20x10 front /20x11 rear), front diffuser, ss 1le rear spoiler, 6 piston from brembo brakes, 4 piston rear brembo brakes, and extra oil /diff coolers. I might be missing a couple other things right off the top of my head.
Your videos keep getting better all the time!!....especially when you do Camaros....from a Camaro owner
Thank you brother 🤜🔥
@RacerX That aftermarket airbox is actually a GMPP factory option for both the LT1 and SS.
Those rims are fire 🔥
Yes I really like them
Thanks for 📈📉

Very unbiased. love your videos man in Alabama Camaro blood 4eva
Great Video‼️ Yes Sir, Manuals are so much FUN💯 "SAVE THE MANUALS"🤟😁✌
Great reviews X, swear you can talk me into even buying a beat up old hyundai lol
Lol.. gotta hypnotize you where I can 😬
I was just looking at this car right before I saw your video!
Nice intro! I like the supercharger with the blowoff!
Thank you my friend
In my opinion it's a 6 spd.all day long, 6 spd. makes you part of the car
Love the 1le.
Yep it’s a sick package
Great video brother love the content on all your videos I love all the muscle cars dodge Ford and Chevy keep doing videos on all of them
I have a'21 Camaro SS1LE Manual and it's WORTH IT.. just the seats and brakes if you don't even want to track it. Plus they look more BITCHIN'
Always great reviews, from more of a Blue oval guy. A review of this camaro package and Shelby GT350
would have been awesome matchup, love the content my friend keep up the great work.
I had a 2019 1ss 1le and im picking up a new 2023 1ss 1 le end of September in white just like this video . 1 le package is awesome. I got the anti theft millenial package (6 speed manual )
I wouldn’t purchase a Camaro without 1LE.
Actually just sold my 2016 sti got bored of it, and purchased a 2022 1SS 1LE 47k brand new (: summit white 6 speed but now I need a daily beater
Absolutely dream car 🚗
It’s a nice ride for sure
Nice haircut , the glasses bring it out . 👌
Thanks I did it myself .. lol
I hate how the flat black peels off the lower part of the steering wheel. That pissed me off
Just saw you in the Camaro ss in traffic! Looked up your channel and it’s sick! Keep working brother man
thank you my friend
Should have tried to get his autograph.😂
The 2SS 1LE is a ZL1 minus the supercharger (LT1 instead of the LT4)... the 1SS 1LE is the same but minus a few comfort items like fancy LED interior trim lighting and a few other odds and ends.
Sounds great 🔥
For sure
I love all 3 cars, Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye wide body, 2nd. Camaro SS 1LE and Ford Mustang GT500 Super Snake in that order. Thank you! 🙂
Interior suspension looks bad ass wheels definitely worth it
I never seen you without a hat lol. Great video as always brother 💪
Haha you didn’t think the top of head actually existed .. lol 😂.. gotta switch it up once in a while
Great review. I think the turbo comes on the 4c.
Yes I think I misspoke.. it’s a 4 cylinder turbo and the 6 cylinder is NA
My 1LE is amazing
racerX is the honorary spokesman of the car community lol
the seats ,brakes shocks ,exhaust, suspension and graphics upgrades would run you 7000 or a bit more ,so yes if your happy with those upgrades go for it the one draw back to the package is you cannot add ground effects
That’s a nice car, but I’ll stick with my hellcat, love the triple Punch RacerX , that’s going to get some more traffic coming in, LOL,Going to be hitting 100,000 really soon, congrats on that!
Yes it is, look at what you get with it, mag ride, NPP and a host of things.
I just got gapped by an SS today! Don’t know what package. Just an R/T here. I think I was louder tho!
Lol yeah the Camaro’s weighs less so it has the advantage in acceleration, I have a R/T Challenger so yeah to keep up you gotta do some upgrades to the hemi brother 👍🏾
dont bother racing SSs. They compete with Scats and even they get beat sometimes.
@@BigClaunch oh I know and you are right of course. The R/T without mods doesn’t beat a lot of machines so was just having fun. The SS guy was actually cool. Wish I could say that about some of the 392ers I’ve met.
Love the way it looks just don't like the sitting position. You sit so deep in the car and it does have some blind spots. I like to put my arm on the door. But it's not comfortable with the Camaro. PS the Drag Van ran a 7.82 with a 1.68 60ft.
Wow great job brother.. very impressive
Nice !
Appreciate the reviews you do man 👍
Thank you my friend
I was looking at that Super Snake in the background, but then saw it wasn't supercharged so I never inquired about it.
One quick question; what kind of transmission does this Camaro SS 1LE 2021has? Tremec?
tremec tr6060.
Yes and the transmission is cooled as well as the rear differential!
Nice glasses😅 also great video. Camaro fan all day
Love my M6 ZL1 1LE 🦇
Great review! I had to subscribe 👌🏽
7:46 Does that different gear Let you go faster or what is it?
A friend of mine had a green one. It had tons of power and the handling was unbelievable. The Tremec shifted great. The interior was terribly uncomfortable and I felt very claustrophobic in it. Those Recaro seats killed my back after 30 minutes. I think the seat bottom angle put my back in a bind. It felt like I was sitting in a 5 gallon bucket. I really liked the car and would enjoy driving it if you could adjust the seat to make it comfortable.
How big are you? I'm 4' 11" and feel the same way.
Can I get a charger with a 6speed manual
Negative
Nope unless you take it to a mechanic buy a manual transmission and let them work their magic
Intake manifold- longtube headers -it has to be tuned to run right - so easy 500rwhp
You are a great car reviewer, cover all the bases and explain it it,so well, and thorough,New camaros about nzd 120,000 here but beautiful cars, thankyou ,awesome, you da man love watchin all your vids, best wishes frm Auckland,New Zealand,⭐🧨🔥👍🙂😉😉
Thank you my friend
This car is for that guy or girl that wants a GT350 but hates Ford and wants it to last longer. I really considered getting this as a replacement for a GT350 but got a STi because I can be a dad and still have fun.
Did they redesign the 2021 camero ss? Ik the refreshed it but ive never noticed the much more aggressive the trunk and quarter panels are now I like it.
That's a great product that GM came out with.
I'm surprised that you haven't done a review on the redline.
Anyone know the manufacturer of the CAI?
I'm not entirely sure but I actually want to say it's the upgraded CAI from the factory. It looks similar to it.
Im so used to seeing you with a hat on. Caught me off guard for a second 😂
I have a 2019 zl1 and I like those rims better than mine.
Yes I really like the 1LE rims
Visibility is just fine. Glass is where your head is. Your head are where your eyes are. Your elbows or shoulders don’t need to see out of the car. Go get a mustang or challenger if you want more glass around you.
I had 1969dZ 28 78 1/2 Z 28 seven another 69Z airport I had another 70 Z I have a wife and then I got the 85 and 86 the best one to look out the side with the 85 you can see the best around here they come out they ever made
Dude..at 6:30 there's a red 2020 Shelby mustang in the background that would be a kickass review!
Yes its been up there for a bit.. its a super snake but it's not supercharged.. never seen that
@@RacerX9 a N/A super snake? 🤔 that's odd
Does the carbon bits in the interior make it lighter?
Hey RacerX this is a little off topic, but have you or are you going to do a video of why you sold the Hellcat. I was just wondering and I looked and did not find a video addressing that. Thanks.
For sure.. this one had a bit done.. but nothing too crazy
Anybody?
What type of van is that with the lock 🔒?
😎

For sure brother.. won’t be too long now
Just ordered a 2022 2SS with the 1LE track package so I can boost it and keep my 2018 GT350 stock.
RacerX New subscriber. Do u really think in a 1/4 mile or stop light race, that the auto is faster than a great stick shift driver?
100%. And I LOVE an M6.
