You forgot to sin the fact that Michael can see despite the fact that his eyes were shot in Halloween II. Also from what I read, this was originally going to be a ghost story with Michael being the ghost haunting Haddonfield, which would've made more sense than him physically surviving, which is clearly impossible.
I’ve been thinking the same thing about being shot in the eyes. It’s like everyone forgot
He wasn’t shot in the eyes. The blood streams down from above his eyes blinding him. You can see a couple small holes in his forehead if you look closely.
What about it? For any of this to be possible, Michael would have to be regenerative through dark, Festival of Samhain magic. Amazing how you people seem to feel you're making some kind of profound point by referring to something that everyone else can see, too...
"...which would've made more sense than him physically surviving..."
I direct you to a certain Mr Jason Voorhees.
@ Well this isn't Jason Voorhees! it's Michael Myers.
The final no by loomis was one of the best noos in cinema history
Flows great with Tom Atkins from the end of 3
"STOP IT!!! 😂
It reminds of the film Hardcore where George C. Scott is seeing his daughter in a porn film.
What about the dad from Pet Cemetery shouting No! When his son was hit.
@MikeTheEnforcer I've seen people that don't think his reaction or his acting I guess, was that great.
That was actually unscripted- It was Donald Pleasance's reaction when he found out his contract said he had to do another one of these and they just happened to be shooting
1:48 Laurie being Michael’s sister is literally the thing most people remember Halloween II for.
Facts
Yes!!! I’m so happy you did this one. Might as well do whole series now
Fr been waiting for this for years
I literally spat my coffee at "AH! Dwayne Johnson!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If I remember correctly, it's actually mentioned in Halloween 2 by nurse Marion Chambers that Laurie is Michael's sister. I also remember that Laurie was having vision like flashbacks of a younger Michael.
You are 100% correct
Yeah, everyone knows this who has an inkling of knowledge about Halloween.
💯
Thus beginning the dumbest story system for why a supernatural serial killer does what he does. They should have left him dead and started anthologies at 2 so Halloween could be a bunch of scary stories instead of finding reasons and methods for him to come back
Ngl, I thought that was something I'd imagined 😅
Sinning Michael Myers for stealing, but never for killing.
Because it’s a movie about a killer not a kleptomaniac?
As someone who owns a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home, I feel attacked lol. I didn’t think of it as a starter home
its no starter home. thats a "the kids better get used to this place" home.
You are doing more good for yourself if that’s what you have these days!
My mom bought a 3 bedroom 1 bath house and called it a starter home...
Hahahaha the last sin “No no no no!” I knew there was a “no.” DING! coming and I even said it out loud and when it happened I literally LOL’ed.
ABOUT DAMM TIME!!!!!!!!! Halloween 4 is my favorite in the franchise, I've been waiting YEARS for this video.
ME TOOOO
Same here 😊
Sick. I thought I was the only one. This one stayed with me for months after I watched it way too young.
@@PaulyMcPRock apart from the original I thought this one really delivered the tension
Same, and good to hear it isn't just me!
Ill have you know that Peter Griffin dubbed this the greatest movie of all time.
Thanks for getting back into the halloween franchise.
Holy shit. That My Name is Earl reference at the end just drop kicked me in the nostalgia bone. Fuck.
As well as The Sure Thing. Haven’t thought about that movie in years. I remember my sister and I would quote that line to each other all the time. The way he says ‘pleasure’ was hysterical to us. 😂
Brady was a jerk but he went out like a champ defending them.
You're a creative genius, seriously!
Dumb things about Halloween 4:
- Loomis and Michael survived that explosion in Halloween 2
- Michael is wearing 2 different masks in this movie
- The plot is an exact copy of the 1st film
- Characters just appear where the script needs them to be
- That photo of Laurie Strode
- Michael survives the firing squad due to the "Michael Doesn't Die" clause
- Jamie Lloyd stabs her adopted mother, but it's totally forgiven and forgotten in the next film
- Also the evil Jamie plot is abandoned in the next film
Plus they gave him powers.
The shotgun going completely through and impaling the girl and somehow pinning her to the wall is the biggest load of bullshit I refuse to ever get over.
@@shawnbateman79lol get over it. Movie deaths don’t need to be realistic
@@ChrisCollins068they don't need to be so fake that you can't believe it either
Because in 5 they chickened out and needed Michael back to five the warm fuzzies. Maybe it was after Jason Lives came out and stuggled
If you're going to nitpick: Halloween 2 is actually quite infamous for the twist of Laurie being his sister
i think that was sarcasm
Nitpicking the nitpicker is the path to recursive hell.
Yay! The first Michael Myers movie that actually feels like it takes place on Halloween!
I feel others feel like Halloween (5, some of 6, 7 for sure). However, I always felt like this was the most setting-oriented of the films. Attention to detail is amazing! 🎃🔪🖤
P.S I wasn’t counting the RZ remakes or the newer trilogy.
Have they ever transfered Michael anywhere without him escaping and going on a murder spree? I feel like that's the root of the problem here: flimsy transfers.
It's about time we got more Halloween 🎃 sins.
YOU GOTTA DO FREDDY VS JASON NEXT
Can't wait for Halloween 5, 6 and resurrection
This was Tom Tucker's best performance.
Best comment so far
???
@@kennethnwebb there’s a episode of Family Guy where the news anchor played Michael Myers in Halloween 4. It’s a great episode
@@patrickspalding8045 oh
@@patrickspalding8045 now looked it up.....I forgot about that completely....I remember the episode...but I've never seen any Halloween movie, so it flew over my head
Thank you for finally doing this movie. I love this movie a lot. One of my favorites in the Halloween series
My favorite Movie of the franchise, I’ve been waiting years for this.
Well, sucks that the anthology thing didn't pan out, now bring on Busta Rhymes, call Rob Zombie on the mirror 3 times and give Jamie Lee Curtis another paycheck and bottle of rum because we're gonna be here for a while.
Halloween 2 is where it was revealed Laurie was his sister. Marion told Dr. Loomis and she remembered visiting him.
btw can’t believe you sinned the best opening of the franchise lol jk
Doing the next 2 Halloween movies in October while sinning MF BILLY MADISON on Friday the 13th of September is a CRIME! Justice for Jason!!
Sin 13. He wouldn’t have escaped. Him hearing that is why he decided to escape. His hand clenching is a clue.
That mask doesn't deserve enough sins. I'm sure they'll keep to the consistency of the franchise by not having it magically turn into an angry looking sneer with a mullet in Halloween 5. Glad that never happens.
It literally looked pink in the school stalking scene.
@@henrywallacesghost5883 The ghost of Ben Tramer
I'm sorry guys, but the Jason Voorhees school for teleportation actually doesn't allow comatose students.
The only one that may have even taught him would be Professor Freddy. But I don't think Michal has the ... persuasive powers to convince Prof. Freddy to do him any favors off the clock.
When a person returns from a coma, it takes months to regain his body movements and even his mind and memory.
It’s debatable if Michael Myers is a person, tho
"I SHOT HIM SIX TIMES! I SHOT HIM IN THE HEART! HE IS NOT HUMAN"
How long do they have to be in a coma for? I know 10 years in the movie but in real life?
"this isnt a man, that part of him died years ago."
As a Scotsman of 37 years I can honestly say “Freat” disnea ring a bell…
GAHDAMN IT IT'S MEDAL
WHAT DOES THAT MEANNNNN
One note: One thing I've learned from Law and Order is that media police often refer to ambulances as 'the bus'. YMMV
Sin the original "The Thing", Kurt Russle and Keith David absolutely OWN, complete banger, also dog, still waitin for that Eight Legged Freaks vid
It’s my favorite straight horror movie
John Carpenter's The Thing is a remake of a remake
@@libralynx98Yep. Glad someone knows their movie history.
@@jeffcarri70we all know we just don't feel like mentioning it everytime lol it's kinda pretentious
the original The Thing come out in the 1950s
I figured this one was sinned yrs ago. I always laugh at 22:17 now because of cinema snob's review of this where someone commented something like "That's not michael, it's the vengeful ghost of ben tramer."
#JusticeForBenTramer
Loomis took Jamie too the school because he knew the alarms would alert people to their location. Unluckily it also told Michael where to find them.
Just fyi, first responders do call an ambulance a "bus". I'm actually surprised they got that right
Yeah, ambulance is a lot of syllables and policemen is a lot of lazy, so shortening it to bus is a real thing.
Still would be cool to show up at an accident scene in a Greyhound bus.
I refuse to believe cinema sins didn’t know that.
@bigplanner they sinned it, so I'm sinning them, lol
❤ Cinemasins is on a roll love the older movies he's doing...
He’s getting around to all the classics! 😁
It didnt happen in this video but I’m praying a sin gets taken off for Danielle Harris in part 5 because I genuinely thought that little girl was in danger.
one of the reasons i loved it as a kid i was like wow shes scared asf fr lol
yeah like the laundry chute scene.
Yay he's sinning my FAVORITE Halloween movie & sequel
If this was your favourite Halloween movie then you're the one who deserves to be sinned
LMAO THAT BLONDE WIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the biggest sin is back then we got a Freddy vs Jason movie. Instead of getting Michael vs Jason movie.
I’m surprised no one mentioned that it’s implied Laurie had Jamie super young. Jamie is implied to be 7 in this movie, meaning she was born in 1981. The first 2 Halloween movies take place in 1978, and Laurie is confirmed to be 17 in them. This means Laurie was 20 when she got married and gave birth to Jamie (depending on Jamie’s birthdate Laurie either got pregnant at 19 or 20).
That wasn't really super young back then. ~20 was a perfectly normal time to be having kids. Average age was 24 for your first kid.
Having a kid at 20 years old isn’t that young lol
I always like to imagine she married that guy from the hospital. Assuming he didn’t actually die in that car and instead just passed out. lol
I’m old enough to remember seeing this at the drive in when it first came out
VHS rental for me. Ahh the '80s!
_”Good evening, I’m Michael Myers! I have enormous psychological problems and I’m going to take them out on you!”_
Family guy reference 😂😂
You forgot to mention in the gas station when he killed the attendant his eyes were exposed and when Loomis got there Michael’s eyes were covered again.
I heard somewhere that he was given driving lessons from the doctor that was overseeing him. He's the man in the black coat that we see at some point in the 5th movie. The man that helped him escape from the sanitarium
So reading to someone in a coma is like reading to a pregnant womans belly? Michael retains info just like a baby would.
Apparently audiences complained about how Michael wasn’t in the 3rd one, so the studio said “There! We brought him back! Happy?”.
Same fans complained, once Carpenter complained, about the sibling connection in part two BUT they had no issues with Michael going after his neice, Laurie Strode's daughter, in part 4
😂
@@travzimmerman1340part 2 is the true ending in my eyes. The best sequel in the franchise. I don’t care what carpenter thinks, I’ve never had a problem with the sibling twist
Michael is in the third movie. It's when they are actually showing Halloween clips on t.v. screen.
And how did Dr. Lomas not also go into a coma from that self-explosion that Michael Myers suffered?
Michael at least has the excuse of being functionally immortal, but Loomis should have been a pile of charred body parts.
I know I comment this all the time, but we'd appreciate it if you reviewed the following things:
1. 7 FACES OF DR. LAO
2. HAUNTED CASTLE (2001 FILM)
3. THE HAUNTING HOUR: DON'T THINK ABOUT IT
I appreciate this Channel. I just discovered it. This is a gem.
So glad you are doing the remaining Halloween Films. I hope you do the remaining Friday The 13th ones as well.
Add another Sin for Michael Myers hair changing back from blonde to brown once he’s leaves the school and hides under the truck 😂😂😂😂
You forgot to sin the sheriff for being completely blase` about his daughters death...
Good point.
#1 : the mask
#2 : Michael’s shoulder pads
Ah yes, Halloween 4 - the first in a trilogy of comedies 😂
9:20 It also means a fully bandaged person drove a tow truck even though his eyes were covered.
If you look in the garage part when he kills the guy to get his mechanic suit it shows his eyes
Didn’t his eyes get shot out in Halloween 2? Ha
@@danielrierson6683 Yes but that was a different movie. They magically grew back.
After they shoot him at the cemetery, drop dynamite into the sink hole of a grave. THEY NEVER CHECK for the remains of body (CinemaSins!!!)
This is one of the best vids from CinemaSins i've seen. It actually calls out all the bs in this movie and is really funny.
Also, I love Halloween 4 and 5 despite all the cheesiness and sins so this was a joy.
Blonde Michael Myers is hilarious 😂 can’t stop laughing out loud too.
Michael Myers just wanted to go for a very enthusiastic walk, alright.
💯😅
Why doesn't anyone ever try to blow Michael's extremities off? His torso is apparently made to eat bullets, but he can't regrow limbs, and it's very hard to hunt and stab when you look like the Black Knight from Monty Python
First responders refer to ambulances as a bus. When cops see gunshot victims or fellow cops shot they request a “bus” or ambulance. Also in Halloween 2 is when we get the info that Laurie is related to Micheal. I know you will tack on two more sins just for this mentioning but hey, context
@@RaikiriGojoAlt I haven’t seen them yet, but in the recent Halloween trilogy, didn’t they throw everything out starting with Halloween 2? I also thought they threw out the Laurie/ Michael are related storyline.
@@jeffcarri70 yes the Trilogy completely rewrites everything and takes place after the events of the first movie only. I think they should have done it after Halloween 2 so it makes Micheal’s motivation to kill Laurie more concrete rather than random bullshit but I guess they would also have to write a way he survived the explosion at the end of 2
@@RaikiriGojoAlt It’s been a long time since I saw H4. I forgot how they explained the return of Michael and Dr. Loomis. I haven’t watched this EWW H4 yet, so maybe it’s talked about here.
@@jeffcarri70 they really just bandage him up and rush him in the ambulance and then the mention of his niece brings him basically back to life. That was part of their reason for striking some of the other movies was to strike him being an unstoppable force of evil and rather make him more human again but like you could establish that after the events of 2 because beyond being in that explosion he had no other superhuman feats in the 2nd movie
theres also a Lehigh, Illinois. he could just use Google or ask me next time. ding
They literally say in Halloween 2 that Laurie is Michael's sister
They say it and in the extended clips she recalls visiting Michael as a child in the mental hospital.
i impulsivley watched this movie and finished it in its entirety today. Had no trouble, this movie is pretty great.
You really doubt MM isn't supernatural at this point, even when you've watched 6?
WOW 40 years it took me to know that Elli was a cyborg the entire time.. I thought she was replaced with one.. #mindblown
Ellie was human up until she was kidnapped. But also it's left up to your own interpretation to determine if she was or wasn't a robot the entire time
Hmm, I think she only became a cyborg after she was kidnapped, as surely Challis would have noticed something during the sex scenes, haha.
Omg yay!! 🙌🏼 you should do 5 Thursday!
I remember being young and trying to the watch the Halloween marathon on the Sci-fi channel and Halloween 4 became my first glimpse of Michael Myers and ever since then I have loved horror movies.
6:42 some police departments refer to ambulances as "buses". This includes the NYPD
Exactly. Cinemasins has never seen SVU 😂
Doesn’t explain Loomis calling it one.
Lmao as a hospital worker in the er in NYC, Thank you very much, I was looking for this. They’re almost always referred to as “buses or trucks”
@@michaelmyers3709 he’s a doctor, why wouldn’t he not call it one.
@@michaelmyers3709yeah DR Loomis. He is a doctor. Why TF would he not??
No sin off for Danielle Harris’s amazing child acting? That’s a sin for you sir.
She’s related to Kamala
I absolutely love your exasperated frustration lol. Love this channel.
the well known halloween lore part of that laurie and Michael being siblingz joke went over yall heads huh
Not sure if anyone else already pointed this out, but minor correction for the sin at 6:46 about Michael being "thrown from the bus": in this context, "bus" is actually one of several police slang terms for an ambulance.
My favorite movie in the entire Halloween franchise is finally getting done! THANK YOU!!
Not adding the sin "Kids" after bullies taunt Jamie with her lack of parents. "DING!"
good. they're saving deadpool and wolverine before kraven comes out. I think.
Yes, it was clearly established in Halloween 2 (‘81) that Laurie was his sister.
13:40 I did always wonder this 😹 It is my favorite movie besides the original, but it does have so many sins! That’s why I’m so glad you finally did it 🧡
At the risk of repeating myself:
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!
This team-up was perfect!
How did Michael Myers learn to drive? 😂😂
The second movie is where the sister thing came in
I died at the “wait hold the f up” 😂😂😂
Finally it's not going to take years for everything with Halloween
This was the first Halloween movie I saw
Apparently 10 years in a coma doesn't lead to muscle atrophy in this movie. 😂😂😂 my spending 13 years in a dam wheelchair means I must have imagined my muscles atrophying 😂😂😂 dam you physics 😂😂😂
Michael has supernatural muscles 😂
He's under a curse. Aaaaaand let's not think about this franchise making any sense 😅
They did Rachel dirty in Halloween 5 🤦🏻♂️
Loomis shooting a 1911 (I assume in 45 acp) with one hand expecting to be accurate is a sin
This just made my day 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I am happy these are still so darn funny. Thank you!!!
Please do the terrifier series!!!! Start with all hallows eve!
Cover the whole Halloween franchise in time!
I always interpreted it as Micheal awoke from his trance BECAUSE he heard of the existence of a living relative, so had the ambulance medic not brought it up, he wouldn’t have awoke and overturned the ambulance unless or until he heard of Jamie’s existence
How can he Breathe with those Bandages covering his Mouth 😂
Lol this is my favorite Halloween movie. This is my 1st Halloween in 88 when I was 9. My Mom and I use to watch scary movies on Friday night and Saturday night.
15:49 SO THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED TO MY DAD???!!!
Good review show
Something makes me sad about what a mess Michael Myers and the franchise had become at that point. Again, should have stuck to the idea of that anthology series instead if it means we were gonna get the convoluted stuff about Michael.
Yeah it would've been good if this movie was him terrorizing Jamie because of the cult ppl
