Hello, My setup is Xone 96, 2 technics MK2 and traktor Pro 3. Everything works well in time code with sound card 1 of the xone 96 but when I want to stream my mix (I use software like BUTT), It is the diamond signal from the turntable and not the music that is sent to BUTT. Is this normal? Should I use an external sound card to return the sound via the Master 2 for example ? and Can I use the second Xone 96 sound card to do this ? tx a lot in advance.🙂
Hi A x, Thanks for the message. The master bus for recording is on USB channels 11&12. It is these channels that need to be selected in the software’s routing preferences. FYI, the mixer’s USB 11&12 routing switch will also need to be set to MST. This is located below the Master 2 level control. If you require further assistance with this, please drop us a line at support@allen-ehath.com Thanks, Luke
I just bought the PX5, I'm going to use it with traktor pro 3. I installed the driver from allen and heath website, running windows 11. After the driver installed I see the PX5 menu and device manager also shows all the px5 info. When I open Traktor it asked me if I want to switch to the PX5 I hit YES... but, when I load traks into the decks and hit play, it just plays the track for about 10 seconds then glitches and completely stops, if I go yo audio settings in Traktor and it shows pX5 as the mixer and external but then can't change anything. Please help me, what do you recommend?

Bonjour, Pouvez-vous me dire à combien de minutes sur la vidéo à quelle moment vous routé les 4 pistes audio de Traktor séparément sur la Xone PX5 SVP 🙏
Hi, I have the FX return setup but can't seem to get it to only return the wet FX. As soon as I turn up the send on the xone96, the channel is doubled in the return, even with FX on and all the way wet on traktor, the dry signal is still coming through the return channel. The D/W knob on traktor seems to just turn the wet up? Any way of stopping this? Thanks
Hi, Thanks for the message, Please ensure that the send level on the return channel is turned down! If you are still having further issues with this, please drop us a line to support@allen-heath.com Best regards, Luke
Hello, I just bought the PX5, Im using it with Traktor Pro 3,8 and controlling Traktor with a Native Instrumants Kontrol X1. The routing works fine and the mixer it sounds great but the PX5 is sending MIDI signal to the Traktor software, so when I press "CUE" on the mixer to preview a running track before I mix it in, the PX5 sends a MIDI signal and triggers the "CUE" button in Traktor, causing Traktor to play the track from the start for as long as the CUE button is held down... There are multiple issues with different MIDI signals triggering different buttons in Traktor. I wish to just turn of the MIDI signals coming from the PX5 and only use it as an analog mixer for the audio output but I don't know how. I consulted page 34 in the manual to change the MIDI output from the PX5 but this only allows me to change the MIDI channel, not stop the outgoing MIDI signal completely. Please help! Thank you
Hi Martin, Thanks for the message, There is no way of turning off the MIDI on the hardware. Though, if this PX5 is not selected as the MIDI input device in Traktor, the software should not pick up any incoming MIDI from the PX5 mixer. If you are still experiencing issues with conflict with X1, it might be best contacting NI support. Kind regards, Luke
Hi there, Ive tried evertything but I'm not able to record my sets .. my set up is Mac + TRAKTOR PRO 3 + Xone 96. I also have two pedals connected to send 1. Is this the issue or traktor won't record without cdjs or turntables?? Thanks,
Hi Juan, There are specific instructions in the 96 user guide for recording into Traktor. Please check page 33 www.allen-heath.com/content/uploads/2023/06/AP11645_2_XONE_96_USER_GUIDE.pdf Best regards, Luke
@@xonedjofficialhi Luke thanks for it. That’s the issue the manual only explains when the set up is with cdj and turntables. As I don’t have either of them, when I route the mixer channels to line nothing comes out. Only when usb1 is selected. Is there any work around if only mixer and mac are used?
Is it possible to use a K2 and rout the output master and output monitor to the same headphones? Mapped th K2 as a mixer\fx and mixing purely in headphones with no speakers (small people sleeping when I have spare time!)
Hi Mike, I'm afraid that it is not possible to send both the Master and Cue bus to the same output. The software simply won't allow you to select both. Kind regards, Luke
Having issues using DVS with traktor. Seem to get Deck A record playing fine but channel b I get nothing. Even if I play deck b I always get track deck a playing on it. I have a xone 23c and it’s driving me round the bend coz I cannot seem to get it working with traktor.
Hi Chris, Sorry for the late reply on this. If you have the DVS jumpers fitted, then then the USB upstream will now be managing the DVS signal and the mixer will no longer route the record bus via USB. For recording with the DVS jumpers fitted, you will need to use the RCA record output to either a dedicated recording device or a third-party interface. Thanks, Luke
If you are wanting it primarily for playback (no DVS), the any 8x8 card will suffice. If you are wanting it for DVS, then unfortunately, to my knowledge, there is currently not a card on the market that can support this channel count. Ultimately, it will be best to consult your dealer as to want soundcards they have on offer that will suit your personal requirements. Thanks, Luke

I remember the days of just 2, 1210's and a mixer. Now we have great tools to have more fun with. Can't wait to get my Xone 96

We are glad to hear you found this video useful!
Thanks for letting us know.
