Me too. Killer amp in just about every respect. Did you see the new extension cabs for the Black Magick on the Supro site? There is a matching 12" and a 15" coming any day now. Probably going to grab the 15" depending on price myself. :)
Got to spend about an hour and a half putting one of these through the paces at GC in Atlanta fairly early in the day (nobody was there hardly). I have to say, this amp really does have some "magic" in it. My favorite, by far of the current Supro line, and that's saying a lot, considering the great amps they're putting out.
Reading Randall's evolving thoughts on it (below), and seeing Andy get unusually carried away in the video, this amp is a bit special. Really love where Supro are going.
A lot of Out Door was done on a B-Bender Tele too. A lot of 2 he used a Tele but he also used a Les Paul for whole lotta love (possibly his black beauty) as well as some other songs. He also occasionally used a Strat!
amazing performance! I would have payed real money to listen to you play like that for 2 hours and I didn't even go to see AiC, G'n'R, Garbage, Frampton, or 38 Special when they were just here (although I might, admittedly, try to see Roger Waters later this month). Great job! thank you!

+M Carter I wouldn't call it dark, but the tone control is weird. It doesn't take away any bass until it's at around 3 o'clock on the dial. It adds treble, but it only removes bass in the last fifth of the knob or so. It's definitely different.
I played one of these at Sweetwater today. It's not very loud, even with both channels cranked. I also, with a Les Paul in bridge position, I found it rather dark. Great tone, but not loud enough to even practice with; drums would smoother this thing. I've played 15 watt amps that kill this thing. And if you roll off your guitar's volume to clean it up, you can practically carry on a conversation over it. It needs way more volume and a hint of presence and punch in the mids. Could just be a really inefficient speaker, but I would not consider buying one.
Played it again today, I gotta say, though not terribly loud, I'm just super impressed. I may indeed purchase one. Not exactly a sound-like-Page amp, but great in its own right. Also, having a lot of time on it today, the volume is more than suitable.
Also, funny enough, the feedback when running full bore is probably the best, sweetest sounding feedback I've ever heard. No shit, I could sit there and just listen to it. I should mention, even both channels dimmed, it's super quiet in the noise floor department.
honestly, I think it's more for recording and such, not really for playing live. but in this respect, it's a fantastic amp. I have a Tone Bender MKII pro (the same pedal Page used for the majority of Zeppelin's material) and putting a telecaster through that pedal into this supro sounded literally IDENTICAL to the material found in Led Zeppelin I and II. awesome amp, I'm saving for one :)
I bought one of these back in February of 2019. Ive played in a band situation and can't turn it up just 9 without getting complaints that it's too loud. I was hesitant to buy it because of comments like this that it wasn't loud enough. Totally wrong. This thing screams.
The neighbours would disagree😂 I have one and hear what you’re saying though. I love it and yet sometimes I wish it was louder but sometimes I wish it was less loud. I found the same thing with the LP. For what I’m hearing in my Supros - the best marriages are the LP through a cranked Coronado and a Tele or Rickenbacker through my Black Magick.
Jesus! What a fucking genius, what an absolute guitar GOD Jimmy Page is. How the fucking hell could anyone not love his work! Haters can get flogged with a Rotan!
will this amp be able to keep a decent clean tone with a band? i heard it in a store and im in love with it. only thing is that im afraid ill get drowned out with a loud band... is 25 watts class a enough for dirt and clean??
I played one with a Les Paul cranked, and it's not loud at all. Loved the tone, but it's way too quiet for me. When you backup the guitar to clean it up, it's loud enough you can easily have a conversation over it. No joke.
It's likely going to do fine, I'm not sure what mr Less Paul there screwed up but its a 25w class A amp, it's fairly loud. Also where are you playing? Its not a Marshall stack but it is really quite loud.
I think it's a late '00s-mid-2010's Standard in Desert Burst. They have on at Guitar Center Used right now for $1600, which is a good/average used price.
he did use a tonebender mk II, I don't know if he used it with that amp. This was strictly a recording amp for him, he also used a 50s tweed champ for recording. He liked cranking small amps for recording.
He only uses the tone bender for a few songs, and even when he did it was commonly in a backing track. I believe the only time he used it with this amp was for You Shook Me. Otherwise, the only one I can note, is a backing guitar for whole lotta love
As the proud owner of a Supro dualtone I'm wondering what this amp has that the dualtone does not? It seems the dualtone is very very close in tone. I would say almost identical .
Played one with a Les Paul today, it's really quiet. In fact, it's the quietest 25 watt amp I've heard. Great tone, but not loud at all. A 15 watt Fender Princeton is considerably louder.
It is decently louder than a 15w Princeton. I'm not sure what Mr. Less Pauls there screwed up but that's a him issue or he's screwing with a defective amp.
The Black Magick has the most gain if that factors in? The Coronado sounds righteous cranked as well though and all of the Supro's take pedals incredibly well so I'm not sure you could go wrong with any of those. I went with the Black Magick myself but it was a tough choice.
Should EH ever have to close their tube factory in Russia, or sanctions widen to the point to where their tubes become unavailable, where would we get any 6973 tubes, since they are the only factory in the world that is producing them? And have you seen the circuit board from this amp? All the tubes are mounted directly on it; which tells me one day in the not so distant future it will fail and need either repaired or replaced. I'll pass. Too many things to go wrong.
I want one so bad, but I am kinda skeptical about all these guitar amp/effect demos online. Andy could make a washing machine sound good, and I'm not Andy.
I've heard it in person, and it's awesome. This is pretty accurate. However, if I'm honest, the stock Coronado II with the 2x10s somehow sounds closer to Zep I and much of II. I know it's the wrong speaker compliment, etc. but that's just to my ears.
Damn! This is basically the late 60s and early 70s in a box. What a badass amp!
I just bought one 4 days ago. I LOVE this amp!!
Me too. Killer amp in just about every respect. Did you see the new extension cabs for the Black Magick on the Supro site? There is a matching 12" and a 15" coming any day now. Probably going to grab the 15" depending on price myself. :)
Love the classic zeppelin tones, but damn the thank you cover sold me. Gotta get one now.
I read everything that's to do with guitars in this guys voice now.
I sometimes scream 'HERES MY CLEAN TONE'

Nice job incorporating the solo from Good Times Bad Times into Bring It On Home!
Andy Resnick 9
What a riff..what a band..what a demo!! Good stuff as always Andy!
Andy loves those Zep riffs---Awesome. Great amp vibe
Andy kills it again!!! Killer amp and killer demo!!
I own this amp and it kicks ass
Yup me too. It’s actually even better in real life than here.
That's it! I'm getting one just to play Thank You! Bugger me, Jimmy is God, the absolute greatest ever!
Best Supro amp demo ever
Reading Randall's evolving thoughts on it (below), and seeing Andy get unusually carried away in the video, this amp is a bit special. Really love where Supro are going.
everytime, I am in awe
Good God that amp sounds fucking great.
These Supro amps are killer!
My favorite song from Zep II!
Great tune from them. Page sounded better with a tele in my opinion. Their 1st album he used a tele if I recall correctly.
+HouseofChains81 first 2 albums actually, and the outro solo of Stairway To Heaven was done on a tele.
+Jonathan Dean Jeff Beck's tele at that.
A lot of Out Door was done on a B-Bender Tele too. A lot of 2 he used a Tele but he also used a Les Paul for whole lotta love (possibly his black beauty) as well as some other songs. He also occasionally used a Strat!
@@TheBigDean18led zep 1 is tele, led zep 2 is all les Paul

PGS, best intro yet. Impressed. Rock on.
Sounds like it’d sound awesome cranked with a fuzz
Shucks, I was hoping Andy might have a go on that beautiful red National Glenwood guitar. Fiberglass, baby!
Beautiful sounding amp!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....that is great.
Just terrible...it's Hello.
Really love this- great playing on a killer amp! Thanks man!
Love these videos! As always great tones and playing!
This cat does thee best reviews, and he can play. Thanks man. :-)
Excellent demo !! Great playing..think it's time for one of these lil monsters,,,
I've got a supro trem. Sounds just like this!
Big time chills !!
So close. Should be 6L6. But finally someone made it!!!!!
Actually, Jimmy's was originally a 6V6 but he changed the tubes to jukebox tubes that were I believe the same size.
That lead tone with the "Fuzz" is absolutely killer. What fuzz is it?!?!?!
The crying LP tone at 5:43 did it for me. Love this amp and guitar together.
Matthew Maneri s
Thank You, indeed!
Nice played.
BRING IT ON HOME!!!
Great as always Andy, but would have liked to hear you use the Tele more, especially as it seems quite a dark amp overall
+M Carter I wouldn't call it dark, but the tone control is weird. It doesn't take away any bass until it's at around 3 o'clock on the dial. It adds treble, but it only removes bass in the last fifth of the knob or so. It's definitely different.

Holy Mother of God, all that from a 1x12?
What is the name of the song hes playing at 5:15......sounds like "cant you see"
Zeppelin's 'Thank You'
Beautiful sounding (and looking )little Amp.I'd like to know how many takes He needs to get there.Nicely played.

george velasco well it's intended to be used more as a studio amp like page did
It's likely going to do fine, I'm not sure what mr Less Paul there screwed up but its a 25w class A amp, it's fairly loud. Also where are you playing? Its not a Marshall stack but it is really quite loud.
1:04! Nice.
So that fuzz sound comes from the amp? Sounds badass....
what fuzz were you guys using?
It's straight from the amp, he usually says what pedal he's using if he has any in the video
+abraham ruiz at 1:04 it says "medium volume with fuzz"
+Aaron Smela yup thats what I was referencing :)
Aaron Smela i didn't catch that lol
I've been wondering for so long what kind of Les Paul Andy uses for his demos. Anybody know?
I think it's a late '00s-mid-2010's Standard in Desert Burst. They have on at Guitar Center Used right now for $1600, which is a good/average used price.
interesting... didnt page use a tonebender with it though?

What do you think of the half stack version of this?

As the proud owner of a Supro dualtone I'm wondering what this amp has that the dualtone does not? It seems the dualtone is very very close in tone. I would say almost identical .
I heard single tone control instead of two ( dual tone ) changes sound dynamic. Also possibly using different speaker.
Alizetibikes.com Higher gain mostly.
So fucking sweet.
Oh my word.
Oh man, you're playing Bring it on Home with hammer-ons and it's driving me nuts!
can you run the BM into a bigger cab?
It has an extension cab out.
nice
How loud is this cranked, though?
Played one with a Les Paul today, it's really quiet. In fact, it's the quietest 25 watt amp I've heard. Great tone, but not loud at all. A 15 watt Fender Princeton is considerably louder.
+Randall Yeager thanks for the response - basically what I'm looking for then.
Have you played the Comet yet?
It is decently louder than a 15w Princeton. I'm not sure what Mr. Less Pauls there screwed up but that's a him issue or he's screwing with a defective amp.
I know that's Led Zeppelin but what song is that?
Bring It On Home!
@@AndyDemos thank u!
I've watched this way too many times.
Andy one choice. Coronado black magick or thunderbolt?
The Black Magick has the most gain if that factors in? The Coronado sounds righteous cranked as well though and all of the Supro's take pedals incredibly well so I'm not sure you could go wrong with any of those. I went with the Black Magick myself but it was a tough choice.

"mojo-laden wobble"
I want want..!
Why isn't this amp even mentioned on the Supro USA website?
Brand new for 2016. It was premiered at NAMM
Has Andy ever played with a pick? Lol
It's definitely an interesting right hand technique. He gets a good sound out of it though.
+Paul Rox
He has, quite a few times, especially when he did lessons (or maybe it was ONLY in that lesson videos they did a while back...)!
+Paul Rox Seldom. He tossed them out when he was 11.
I want one so bad, but I am kinda skeptical about all these guitar amp/effect demos online. Andy could make a washing machine sound good, and I'm not Andy.

Bring it on home was recorded plugged right into the desk and on a Vox.... doesn't sound right on the Supro.
Tasty :)
why china tubes if made in usa
Best amp I've ever heard. Juicy! Also fuck Les Paul guitars.
Don't waste your money on PCB amps that sound like sand.....save up for HW amps.
You think this sounds like sand?
That amp sucks honestly
No reverb👎🏻
