Just got one and hell yea, it's awesome but don't be fooled, even at the 6w setting, it's loud af. You can't get the break up unless the master volume is really high (without a fuzz pedal) and that happens at a pretty high volume for home use. That said, wow, I'm so blown away by this amp.

How do you get to the tubes to change them? I looked at one of these recently and like the soundthe tube inaccessibility is a big concern to me. They are hidden high inside the amp and behind the chasis. It appears the tubes are hidden to protect them from getting hit and breaking the circuit board. I was getting ready to buy one but after seeing the way this thing is designed and built I am gonna pass. It is a shame because they sound awesome. Thanks for the review, just saved $1349.
@@Bairov the dual tone will get a dirty tone at a slightly lower volume. Coronado is a sweet amp but it is Loud ! May need attenuator. Or a drive pedal at lower volume. You can crank the dual tone without doing ear damage.
I would love to add this amp to my collection, but ..... go to the 2:40 point in the video and look at that cheap construction. All the tubes are mounted right onto the circuit board, that is a deal breaker for me. That tells me there is trouble down the road, and not the cheap easy fix kind either. Amp sounds terrific though, what a shame.
sounds like something he wrote. he often writes a lot of the stuff he plays for these videos. first song is always a cover, but the rest are sometimes original tunes of his own
totally agree. that is simply cutting costs that will surely be placed upon the owner after after the warrentee runs out. those tubes are nearly impossible to get to also.
I know a friend that owns this amp, on his the reverb died aswell. Didn't know it was a common issue. I was thinking about buying one because it just sounds so good but i guess i reconsider

dug Shooter did you ever find out how to change the tubes?
Take the screws out of the front and pull the baffle out. Opens up the whole front, tubes are facing forward. Super easy.
