- In this video I will show you how I removed a door panel and door mirror from my 2008 Toyota Yaris 2dr Hatchback. This procedure will be the same for 2006 through 2011 Toyota Yaris two-door hatchback with power windows, power locks, and power mirrors. This procedure is identical for both sides of the car left and right. This is simply a video showing how I remove my door panel and door mirror. I am in no way, shape, or form responsible if you break, damage, or injure anything while working on your project. Good luck on your project!

I like your instructions. They are quite clear. Do you, by any chance, have a video about the 2006-2011 Yaris side window replacement.
Thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately I do not have any videos currently for removing the door glass. Once you remove the door panel there should only be 2 bolts holding in the door glass. You can roll the window down to the access holes in the door to remove the bolts. Once that is done you should be able to tilt the glass and remove it and replace. Hi, May I also ask, when connecting the wire for the replacement wing mirror, is it safe to power on the car and test the electric switch for adjusting the mirror to see if it works before everything is put back on (before the panel is put back on and also before the other wires such as the door lock wires, window switch are connected)?

I would recommend plugging everything back up before testing the mirror. You're not necessarily going to hurt anything if you didn't. However sometimes on electrical systems of different cars if a master switch is unplugged the door mirrors will not work until the window switch is plugged back in.

Hi, is there a need to remove everything mentioned in the video if i just want to change the passenger side wing mirror, or can you just remove the panels near the mirror instead? Hope you understand my question
Hi yes it will be a very good idea to remove the door panel if you don't it will just make the job a lot more complicated than it needs to be. You can do it! Good luck on your project!

I need to know how to take the hatchback panel off
Hi there! That panel should just be held on with plastic clips so you should be able to get your fingers behind it and pop it off. If you can't figure it out let me know and I can make a video on it.
