@marmotaworks
Your came out absolutely beautiful, thank you doe sharing such a unique build. I have a question for you. Where did you find that piece of Beech?? Thanks in advance and keep up coming 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Stunning table. A real piece of art and a wonderful conversation piece.
Thanks!
I think that's a great piece, the graduation effect was a great idea and works really well I think. Good job 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
I am in love with this table! I’ve seen others use crayons, but your use of colored epoxy is by far the best. I 💯 wish I could afford to buy your art.
I will upload a video tomorrow using colored epoxy as well.
oh man i want this table, the geometric lines and gradient colors are so awesome
I'm glad you like it
i
'have watched tons of these resin and epoxy videos and you are the first to explain the why of the clear epoxy first. thnx!!
Im Glad to help
that is beautiful work done with love and patience . thanx for sharing !!
Thanks for watching
Absolutely gorgeous. Love the colours that you put
I´m glad you like it
Love your work and the music !!
Thanks. I'm glad you like the music
Your definition of "easy" and mine are a bit different. 😀. Beautiful table. Reminds me of a surfboard.
Yes, maybe I have been too optimistic using the word easy...
Amazing work man!, keep it up
Thank you!
I'll do it.
Very unique table. I love the colors and the transitions between them. Thank you for sharing this😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Another beautiful and creative piece! Friendly advice for the router. Run the curved part of the router against the straight edge and not the flat part. This will ensure that if your router rotates that the round edge will maintain contact with the straight edge. I hope that makes sense.
Thank you! I did it that way because it was easier for me to measure and make the parallel lines. Of course, you are right and the correct way to use the router is as you say.
Would make a cool surfboard also!
Right!
Superb Colours. Superb Music. Superb Table!
I'm glad you like it
Nice ! And sort of 50's retro ...
Thank you!
This table is stunning!
Thank you Karen.
Yes you have earned it
Thank you!
Beautiful!
Thanks!
Colors are amazing!!!
I'm glad you like it
Just passing on a tip. Other makers say dont run the flat side of the router base against the guide edge.
I know, and you're right. But for this project, it was much more convenient for me to use it that way because of the number of parallel I had to do.
This is ART
Thank you!
Tedious work, my favorite‼️✨
Mine too... 😅
You make the best wood projects!!!! Great job!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Wow, thanks!
Very very cool job
I'm glad you like it
LOOOVE IT! This would make a fantastic surfboard....
You are right!
I think i would have gone with black tinted epoxy myself but this was a cool idea and it gives me an idea to do an epoxy inlay but with flowing lines instead. I use the Osmo Polyx Hard wax oil also and love it. I find that i need to use very little. Just enough to cover the areas i need. I think less is wasted when i rub out the excess oil. I have not tried sanding the first coat to 600. Maybe i will next time. Thanks for another inspiring video. Merry Christmas to you
I almost always use black epoxy, this time I wanted to try something different. If you sand with 600 grit and then give another coat, you will have a much better finish
Beautiful finish, a work of art in carpentry
Thanks a lot!
What an amazing idea!
Thank you!
Love that table!
You’ve definitely inspired me to have a go at making one myself.
I'm glad to read this!
Pretty table! Nice music & love your sincerity!
Thanks for your nice words
To put diodes before pouring epoxy would be epic
Too much work...
Looks beautiful. Ive never really thought about using beech,as i thought of it as a boring wood.but that design and those colours really made it shine.ill be using beech a lot more in my work now
I love beech for this kind of projects. It's neutral and easy to work with.
Now that brought a smile to my face :) What a beautiful piece, so well-balanced and with a nice gradient. I see your location is Berlin. I think that is a good place for a skilled and creative artist like you. I look forward to seeing more videos in the future :)
Thank you so much 😀
You are creative as always!!! Love your videos so much.❤Thanks for your kind sharing.
Thank you so much!
Llevo varias semanas de seguirte, seré testigo de como crece tu canal... eres bueno haciendo lo que haces 😉
Muchas gracias, espero que tengas razón.
Jolie table pleine de gaité.
Merci beaucoup
A fantastic job very well done
Many thanks
makes me think of a printed circuit board!!
given that I do that geek type thing for a living, that thought makes sense!!! hehehe
😂
Cool shape and cool colours! I like it!
Thank you! Cheers!
Fabulous again !
Thanks Gillian!
Brilliant 💎
Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous 💙
Thank you very much
Nice work!
Thanks!
@@marmotaworksI wish I could do this. I have done some epoxy work but for some reason I'm really bad at carving grooves with a router. Just need more practice I guess.
Te quedo muy hermoso gracias por compartir tu arte

Nice vid, nice sounds too, i like how you use simple efficiently, nice work, i want to see more
Thanks! I'll keep doing videos
Interesting build
Thanks!
Only a suggestion for next time, realizing that you have already considered this. How about LED lights under the epoxi? Would really set the colours off when switched on. Thinking coputer table maybe?
I'm not really a big fan of using LEDS on the furniture, but it could be cool on these table
awesome
Thank you.
Very creative and beautiful! Sub'd!
Thanks and welcome
Atomic Age with a modern twist.
😀
Waw luar biasa 👍⭐
Thank you
This is beautiful! Did you consider using less epoxy and letting capillary action suck it up to the lip? You wouldn't have to worry about sanding down any overflow...
Thank you! I would risk it absorbing too much epoxy, and then I would have to sand a lot of wood to flatten it.
Thats a very cool piece of work, enjoyed the vid and learnt a lot about blending epoxy colours, thank you 👍🏻
When you sand do you ever have trouble with dust particles sticking and getting embedded in the resin?
Thank you! Yes, sometimes when there are microbubbles, white dust remains inside...
Very cool table and good video! I'm very interested in trying out some small project of this kind but I am a bit confused about the type of epoxies used. Can you clarify for me in short what you used for sealing, what you used for the color decor, and what you used for finish? I doubt it's the 5 min two-component stuff so would really use a hand before I mess a whole bunch of wood up :D Thank you in advance!

Thank you! Here in Germany you can buy it in any big hardware store
@@marmotaworks Thank you very much for responding. I just re-watched this build, absolutely luv it
Beautiful peice may have to look at trying that myself. Can I ask few things how much resin did u use total did the tape work as a dam ok did u sell it and how much for and did u use acrylic paint as the dye?? 🏴👍
Hi! I used approximately 300 gr of epoxy. The tape didn't work very well, next time I'll use another idea. I have used pigments for epoxy resin. You can see my projects for sale on my website. marmotworks.com
So amazing, but can you put the next video to click and your logo on after the reveal, I can't admire the final product with a rectangle and a circle covering it!!!
I'll keep that in mind next time. Thank you for the advice.
Beautiful. I don't fancy the metal attachments.
are necessary for those legs
What kind of ink did you use? Usual acrylic paint?
I used epoxy pigment paste
Looks amazing, but I fail to see the "easy" part of this video, keep creating amazing stuff
😂
This was perfect as a vanity desk for me. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMAlHv7-BBWMrPRm5-uEoD6rtdT7SG2Qr Especially the glossy finish. Easy to cleanI was looking for something that wasn't the traditional white and with more of a modern feel. This fit the bill beautifully. I put it together with no problems, by myself in under an hour.Make sure you double check where you place the drawer tracks before screwing down. I had one track that needed to be aligned with different holes than the rest.
I'm glad you like it
You should try a Mrs Pac-Man table
😁
what are you using for color? looks like a paste
Pigment paste
@@marmotaworks where can I find that? Do u offer it also?
@@CKCDESIGNSllc I buy it in amazon
Do you take commissions?
What commissions do you mean?
Osmo?
Yes!
@@marmotaworks osmo wax oil IS good for Resin?

Thanks for the sub!
OKAY that's a good job 👍🏽 💯 but think 🤔 height !!!! and legs shape !!!! that's my view point if U don't mind
👍 All view points are welcome.
Your table design is playful and imaginative. But your method of attaching the legs is lousy, and they’ll be weak against racking forces. Drilling mortises for each leg with a Fortsner bit would have been an improvement without adding too much work. Adding a skirt between the legs would have helped the table’s stability a lot, and would only have required some straight slots routed out, filled with matching pieces of beech.
Maybe you're right, but the truth is that I didn't want to invest more work into such a small table. Thanks anyway, advice is always welcome.
amazon? really?
What happens with Amazon?
Beautiful!
Many thanks!
