  • Welcome to today's woodturning project! In this video I'm making a vase out of plywood and some resin. The idea was to make a design that reminds of Tetris. However, I am not really satisfied how it turned out after roughing the piece. Some of the design got lost in the process, but I still decided to finish the project.
    Hope you enjoy the video!

You really are very talented and very clever with the way you come up with designs for your items you make and this is no exception. The tetras design is magnificent and the blue colour resin really stands out, this vase is absolutely stunning and unique well done. I like the grain in the wood. Can't wait for your next amazing video. Thank you Amanda x

The result is outstanding. Interesting figure in the plywood. Love the Tetris pattern. Great resin color.👍👍 I wish you would have included a bit of commentary about the construction and direction. For instance the size of the strips. Are they square or are they rectangular? Is the spacing of the Tetris openings random? Still, it is a great piece. Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂P.S. Make it a bit smaller and put a handle on. You would have a Mug or Tankard.

Thank you a lot! The strips are square, and yes, the spacing is completely random. Have a great day too and stay safe.

Very imaginative, even if you don't think you got it right the first time. Looks great! What did you apply around the tetris design before glue-up?

Every other layer on the finished product looks darker than the one next one. Watched the video again to see if it was how you set it up, but didn't notice. Do you know why this happy accident happened?
