I have a 2013 c300 4matic and have put over 180k miles without anything major going wrong, The sunroof stopped working a while back and had to replace the thermostat around 160k but other than regular upkeep it’s been great. It’s does go through tires faster than any other vehicle I’ve seen… and brake dust has always been bad no matter what type of pads
I have w204 2011shit car i have spent a lot in many problems 1- reserve key stoped working 2- key reader stoped working 3- termostat temp sensor error 4- oil leak in water (serpetine 💧) 5- dpf catalyt blockage 6- actualy in limp mood i gues is something about turbo and valves 7-cant turn engine on with the first try all the lights go off
Sold my 2010 c350 and bought a 2008 Acura TSX, the TSX has been reliable. Gas, oil changes and brake pads its all I’ve done to it. It doesn’t have the power of the benz but then again the benz doesn’t have the reliability of the TSX.
@@hectorgodinez3093 some electrical problems and the main problem was the timing chain guides. The mercedes benz tech told me that if you don’t follow the oil change intervals or dont use the correct oil spec it prematurely wears out the timing chain guides or stretches the timing chain. So I believe the person who owned it before me was not following the recommended service intervals.
Damn bro I had mine 08 4matic nothing but the sam box broke and axle but that was all my fault I put 20s on my car and I went thru water alot of it hit over my hood and sunk into my sam

😂 wife has a W204 and I have the W210; I’m amazed at how much Mercedes’ quality has gone down over the past 20yrs. 😢
In other words the entire car will break down into dust. Got it
Like most cars, check the service history, check the MOTs long as a car has been cared for you should be ok.
Guess I must be lucky then, I've owned my c250 cgi for over 10 years and other than a recall for the passenger side airbag it's been faultless.
I have C 220 cdi blueefficiency 2012 year and 280000 kmh and still no problems and manual 6 speed gear box
When should timing chain be changed on the 2023 w204
I guess I’m have to sell my car then…
Transmission problems
Why do you read your lines like that? 😬
Because he’s gay

Should have bought a petrol instead of a Diesel.
@@centaurus5676No,he should buy Japanese car,not shitty German one!
W204 doesn't have turbos bruh
It could be the high pressure fuel pump, it’s a manufacture defect that Mercedes decided not to assess.
@@austinbrodeur22314IT does. 180CGi and 200 CGI and higher
Why these cars have this many issues.. think buying japaneese car instead is wiser option

buy japanees that will rot in 5 years..
This just tells me that Toyota is the way to go 🤣
They're no better. They had 4 million vehicles recalled between Feb last year and this year. Gearbox and engine issues
Better buy a Lexus
Those still have expensive parts. If you plan to overhaul them or they were neglected in the past it'll be expensive.
lexus in my country is 2 times the price of same year mercedes. that's why I opted for MB instead
Horseshit a Mercedes C Class w204 is a much better car than the equivalent Lexus the Lexus is ugly & has a host of problems.
You selling?
I regret buying w204 , complete plastic piece of shit ..
Father-in-law gifted my wife a w204; I regret letting her accept it 😭
