One night he got upset over it and I tried to calm him down, like always, and he grabbed me by my hair and said "STFU with all your hair! I'm going fckn bald" He tossed my head aside and acted like nothing happened. So after 21 years, I finally left. 🙏🏻

I was engaged at 19, married at 20 and the isolation began, obviously after the love bombing. I thought I was crazy. I was a literal mess, inside, but no one at my job knew. I had a very high stress job in clinical Pharmacy and he stopped working shortly after we were married. I handed over my paycheck. I share this because without finding our precious, God send of a Man, Danish and his videos, I would still be there. I learned I wasn't crazy, I can leave and be happy and most importantly; I couldn't change him. His channel and the comment section became therapy for me. The comments I made, others encouraged me, sweet people like you. That kept me hopeful. I share all off this in the hope, as cliche as it sounds, that if one other person feels inspired to finally move on, safely, because of my situation I'm grateful. My narcissistic spouse always seems super confident about his body even though his doctor has told him his weight falls into the obese category. He constantly makes fun of other "fat" people. Usually, women. He always says that he is not as fat as most people. 🙄
I lost 50lbs and everyone noticed and complimented me, my husband never said a word! If I gain a few pounds he will say "Have you looked in mirror?" I throw the same question back at him as he has a huge beer 🍺 gut! They are despicable and thinned skin . I would never say that to a friend nor would they say that to me.
My ex was obese, I lost weight. Like you everyone noticed and he didn't say a word. I gained back some of the weight (not all) and he told me I was getting fat. A 385 pound man telling his size 6 wife she was 'fat'. Like you, I made some comment about his weight in return. Some of the things victims of narcissists have been through, no one believes because it's too unbelievable like an obese man would dare say anything about his wife's weight.

My ex would say i was fat all the time i have gained 30 kgs usually i am 60kgs and he would body shame my arms being fat but his body wasn’t perfect and he was bald 🙄
My egg donor would always tell me how fat I was and would compare me to how slim she was in her teens. I weighed just under 130lbs at the time and she was topping the scales at well over 200lbs. She really tore my confidence and I started comfort eating, then she started putting me down even more when I started to gain weight. I wasn't able to get control over my weight until after I completely cut her out of my life.
My ex was gorgeous. She was one of the top 3 most beautiful women that I ever personally beheld in my life. But she told me several times she had too much fat but I always told her from the bottom of my heart she was gorgeous. Even from the beginning I sensed it was a little more serious than mere modesty or typical insecurity that most people have.

I knew she was hypersensitive about other things which is a symptom of narcissism, but at the time I didn’t have any idea she was a narcissist. It wasn’t until the second discard that I had a solid idea that she was toxic. My friend who had been in several toxic relationships said she sounded like she was a sociopath when I told him the whole story. And that brought me down a rabbit hole on RUclips, I watched hundreds of videos about narcissism from the major channels covering it.

My narc has broken off his two front teeth from biting off and eating his fingernails. There is a ⅓" triangle between his upper two front teeth. Then he complains about my 10-lb weight gain while he has a big gut.
That is serious insecurity to bite your finger nails soo much and soo long that it damages your teeth. He's saying all that because he is self-conscious. But that's not your problem. Next time he says something about your weight, I'd say, "I was just following your lead with your beer belly."....😉

I know my narcissistic mother has body dysmorphia issues in spite of a movie-star face, better than some. But she says I look "gaunt" when thin, but gasps with awe and says I look beautiful, but is not impressed when I put on 25 pounds. I can't win at 103 or at 130. I'm only TWO DAYS away from her and am never going back.
My ex-husband was neat and he cared about his hair and stuff, but he wasn’t super concerned about it and not all narcissist care about how they look as far as their physical appearance sometimes it’s more on a money or what they can do for other people it’s not always on their Physical looks

I gained weight because of the medication I'm on and she used to try and call me fat (And I kept saying to myself where? Cause a few yrs ago I was in a bad place and my weight was 117 😳 now I'm 145 and everyone that sees me say I'm super fine cause the weight fell in the right places my hips and butt and she's so jealous) So one day she did it again and I said omg here we go, and as usual they try to make it seem like you talking back to them You're in your feelings smh anyway, I told her about them big shirts she wear and asked her if she wanted some AZZ n hips so her pants can stay on. Cause she has no azz or hips, she's built heavy at the top and very small at the bottom 😅 her pants literally looks like they're still on the hanger 😅 they're some sad azz ppl man

We have been pointing out the narcissism with the chaos we're going through right now.

She really tore my confidence and I started comfort eating, then she started putting me down even more when I started to gain weight. I wasn't able to get control over my weight until after I completely cut her out of my life.
My elderly Narc MoMster also freaks when i "accidentally" add one year towards her becoming ancient age of tripple digits!

Can be from childhood trauma or being spoiled or by having parents act like party buddies and not parents. Some folks are just a$$holes.
