This was my second last surf before I broke my leg at another nearby spot a few days later which ended my 25 years of surfing. (thanks mate for helping me out of my suit, finding me some driftwood crutches and carrying my kit up the cliff). Epic days, epic memories.
I like the last few seconds of the guys on the beach after the surf dies down. It's always fun to chat with others after a good session when everyone is happy. That last few seconds captures that and gives the vid a nice complete feel I think.
I surfed this spot a bunch of time end of summer 2014, by far my favourite Euro spot. So happy for the locals who got to shred this day. Racetracks, eat you hear out.
What spot is that I was born in Kent but grew up surfing in So California and would love to know what county that's in especially since I am a goofy foot
was this the same spot that was in this months wavelength mag? looks like the same coastline at least. great video btw, i'll have to sub just because of the wave at 1:02 haha
Woah soemone filmed it. Thanks for this!!! I didn't get there but my Mate showed me some footage from his mobile. The highlight being the canoist going backwards over the falls! World class spot, I feel sorry for the locals who were mobbed that day. Your secret is safe Joe, thanks again Mate.
@@MindSurf248 Yeh what most people don't realise is how good it actually gets there . Most know about it but have no idea what it is . A frickin freight train .
tobin bh I grew up in Christchurch and it looks a hell of a lot like Magnet, but its too long and the shore and background are slightly different. Also the South Island surfers are a bit better than the guys in this vid
Keir Mac Donald the background and the rocks are different, but the wave breaks kinda like magnet (atleast it was like that when i surfed it several times).. and yea, lot of rippers in New Zealand
Lieutenant Bedonde if u think it’s one on the best waves in England u need to get searching lol I’d go as far as saying it’s one of the better spots in Cornwall/north Devon...
Andrew Abbott hahaa have u seen how busy it gets nowadays when it’s only just about breaking!!N even if u named it..wouldn’t make a blind bit of difference to the crowds of people all over it..compare it to other spots up n down the coast that are still empty even in 2019 this is far from my first choice n if its urs u clearly haven’t looked over enough cliff tops urself.. probably best you don’t either..
Andrew Abbott will be the guy sat way up the point on every swell..u will know he’s there because he has the only designated parking spot that is clearly marked AA..it’s also common knowledge if he’s surfing u do not paddle out until he’s finished or u will be on the receiving end of some of the worst localism ever handed out..this guy makes action man look like a Ken doll..rumour has it his been pulling the towels from guys as they get changed up n down the north coast for some time but I guess after all those years behind bars n voluntarily being the one to drop the soap on a daily basis it must be hard..

That's a terrible story man. Hope you can somehow get back in the water. Be it on a boogie board or whatever.
How did you break your leg ? Curious ?

Thank you, glad you guys like the vid! If you know where it is, please respect that it doesn't need to be named! Cheers :)
I know where it is , but wouldn't surf it as iam shit .
been surfing since 1969 what we have here my brother is one incredible wave . .way to go cowboy
Wow. Dream waves.
Think it's north of Birmingham🤔?😆
Great video and waves. Keep that place a secret if you can. Thanks for posting.
Follow the yellow brick road!
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Sick Wave! Love the video brother... Keep Chargin'!
Roughly a KM on my reckoning had my longest ever wave( in nearly 60 years of surfing)here from gb to the harbour, the rip is a doozy heh heh
Man that sux about your leg ...awesome pic ...how did you break your leg ?
it's not Lynmouth, this wave is too fast, more technical. It's North Devon though, the guys are wearing Tiki and C-Skins ;-)
Don't spray spot info mate. And this is clearly Blackpool.
Seals Point in Cape St, Francis South Africa owns the mirror image right hander of that wave, great vid
Looks like Elands Bay
Greg Kopels I was thinking exactly the same .
God I would give my left testes to surf that as a right

Where is this
@@Jakehfar Mate. Only a kook asks where.
@@Jakehfar Somewhere in the UK 👍
No locals really to this spot ?? Gotta travel a bit to get there , bit out in the sticks TBH
@@terryloker358 you don't have to live in the little village to be a local. If you're from barn/wool and surf it regularly you're a local.
Very cool video! Just happen to stumble on this. Great job.
You guys also have to consider that the video could be flipped, just to hide any type of hints. But by the looks of it, the spot is well known.
It 'aint flipped when the writing on his wetsuit reads correctly.... That's a no brainer.
Best wave in New England, like he said.
Haha there are no righthanders anywhere near as good as this in the UK😆
Where is this spot??
It’s the not so secret reef of Combe Martin
Epic don't even care where it is. Enjoy!
Don’t know if you still read the comments to this, but if wave 1 was you, you totally styled it. Nice one.
What spot is that I was born in Kent but grew up surfing in So California and would love to know what county that's in especially since I am a goofy foot
Sum bleddy wave. Great edit Joe.
yewww cheers man!
I would ask where this is, but that wouldn't be right.
The spot should be renamed "leg burners" what an awesome wave.

+kinblanking I'll get your number off of Fish and come up I'm quiet with work at the moment but I do come up that way to surf a lot.
Lol at the amount of people.... hardly a secret spot..😂, fine looking left though..👍🏻
It's still semi-secret, alot of people know of it, but I'm from a different region and couldn't tell you what conditions it needs to work.

shite. fucking epic. way better than anything where I surf...
It breaks quite often . Just not as good as you see in this video. About as good as it gets there that is :)

waves epic, used to be a secret spot. Fucked how busy it is, when its on, now! One of the best waves in England
