I know I’m late on a 3 year old video. Just recently found your channel and I’m enjoying your content. But I’d like to ask you what you think of a band like Grand Belials Key. Their lyrical theme is mocking judaism. No mention of the third reich and no nazi artwork at all. But the people behind the band are openly fascist and racist. Too much and crossing the line? Or just in line with the normal religion bashing that’s typical in black metal but usually aimed at christianity?
I get what you mean about the track on the recent Burzum that sounds like the Israeli National Anthem (It's "The Great Sleep")...It's only the first melodic phrase and then it changes...In any case I'm sure Varg will be delighted to hear that he has Hatikvah in his subconscious mind...
Good video. I am nationalist but some of Vargs views are wrong. The problem is nowadays all nationalists are called "nazis", even Israelis get called "nazis" by leftists. I believe the West should remain majority European. Just as Israel has the right to be a Jewish country and Japan has a right to be Japanese. Now this is called a "nazi" opinion even though Churchill and Truman believed Britain and America should not belong to foreigners.
Hey, thank you for your great video and honest and adult opinion! I love the first Burzum albums as well (the ones you listed) and to me its about the band, not about Varg. I think if someone cant split the music form the person(if the music got nothing to do with an off the line mindset of the members) then they are just puppets without an own mind and opinion. His early music got nothing to do with his later belives. Im from germany and im against any kind of religion(wich does not mean i want to harm believers or so, if they dont want to harm nonbelievers) but i have to pay you my BIGGEST RESPECT for your adult opinion and standpoint! I respect you and your believes 100% and i think your contributing really good work with your videos and your opinion to the metal community! I wish you and your family all the BEST!
