Wow , watching this is a trip down memory lane ( aka 2009) been awhile since I've seen my work on this game , kinda surreal. Glad you enjoy it. To clarify, I painted the majority of the character textures, a few guns, "lol"the horse statue and other misc props . My most dreadful task..., I had to do that in game map illustration around 9:37 and they were soo fussy about how it lined up and what to show , there was no real thought out method on how to get the 2d illustration to line up with the actual location of where you character was standing exactly. (not to mention some parts were multi level and no one figured out how to show this via a 2d map/illustration back in the day), it was all trial and error and very painful. Totally a fly by the seat of your pants project. I came into it as a huge RTCW ( Return to Castle Wolfenstein) multiplayer junkie and was really bummed that the company spent no time on the multiplayer that I had fell in love with and spent a countless hundreds of hours playing. That being said, I felt that Machine Games did some pretty solid work on their versions on their "story" based/ single player versions of Wolf after this incarnation. :)

If you wanna play like a madman, I recommend you to pick up red barrels or floaty juice barrels and throwing them at a group of enemies. You also seem to have figured out picking up the sledgehammers, but you can also find fire axes in many buildings, which are pretty good at chopping up the enemies at a close range. Axes and sledgehammers can also be used for badass entrances where you first melee the door open, throw the axe/hammer at the nearest enemy and then start blasting away.

I played the hell out of this game. I had to look at a guide to find these tomes instead of buying the upgrades at a black market because once you collected all the tomes, you've essentially became god. You've become faster entering the veil and have a higher reserve of energy. The mire crystal can not only slow time even more, when you activate it up close to an enemy, they are turned into stone. The shield crystal can reflect bullets back at the soldiers and also disintegrate enemies when you are super close. I love this game, probably just nostalgia but im gonna revisit it now to see if it's still as good as I remember. I loved the sound design and weapon mechanics. One thing I think this did better than the new ones is sound design. The new ones the weapons sound hollow, I gotta crank the volume way up to hear the weapon having any sort of impact.
Having played all the wolfenstein games prior to this one and vividly remember being so excited for its launch I can easily say, YES it was weird af and not exactly what I expected at all, but it was a genuinely good game. It put a nice twist on everything, and the multiplayer wasnt as awful as it's now remembered. I certainly enjoyed it more than the releases after.
One thing I remember about this game is that you can stab guys in the throat with a bayonet, and it's way more brutal than anything in even The New Order.

You started NG+ With infinite money +All weapons & All upgrades &! Enemy heads with pumpkin heads
This was the first Wolfenstein game I owned, and I didn’t hate it, but I knew it was quite different from the other entries up to that point. Super powers? Purchasable upgrades? Ok....
Edit: ok ok 2 years later and I just bought it again and I’m having a BLAST! It’s definitely way better than I remembered!!
Oh man, I loved this game
This game is such a hidden gem for the PS3/360. I wish it was still available. Though I've heard you can play it on an emulator.
I'm always down to watch somebody play this. You gotta at least make it to the hospital and hear about the guards talk about classic BJ
I loved this game so much, it had a nice mixture of horror to it
I love this game, probably just nostalgia but im gonna revisit it now to see if it's still as good as I remember. I loved the sound design and weapon mechanics. One thing I think this did better than the new ones is sound design. The new ones the weapons sound hollow, I gotta crank the volume way up to hear the weapon having any sort of impact.
This was my fave!
Sounds like the voice actor for BJ Blazkowicz is the same guy who voiced one of the suits in Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
where do you find this forgotten jewel, i will love to play this much apreciate this video man
Full LP!
Oh HELL nah, I did not just hear Stargate SG-1 slander.
For a moment I thought this was Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
One thing I remember about this game is that you can stab guys in the throat with a bayonet, and it's way more brutal than anything in even The New Order.
This game was really fun for the most part (it would have been better without the open world aspect in my opinion). The new games overshadow it in almost every way but it's still a shame that this one is so forgotten.
