I’m glad some of y’all are good there, I couldn’t hack it with my dispatcher, he wouldn’t listen to me and kept me up north on toll roads so I didn’t make crap, it was either take the loads or sit. Either way my experience was horrible. There’s two ends to every company.
I just took my lease purchase operation from OTR to Walmart dedicated. Ran 2903 miles this week (my week is Wednesday-Tuesday). Home every other night and my 34. Gross was $4900 with fixed cost of $880. Purchased $1610 in fuel/def still have 5/8 tank fuel and 7/8 def when parked for 34 today so didn’t use all I purchased. That home time is worth way more than any money so I’m pretty happy about this deal for a while. Who wouldn’t want to stay in Florida, Georgia, Alabama for the winter running flat land with no winter blend fuel to hurt that mpg lol
Even when things stink a resourceful driver that wants his operation to succeed will find a way. This Walmart has always been the endgame for when the truck is paid off. I just got an opportunity and jumped on it. Winter in florida is nice….especially since I got that boat ready to fish
