In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

@@MinekEzQM Ed Gamble did mention on the podcast that he'd also been searching for ducks for CoC II. But Alex says "it was years ago" so my low stake conspiracy is that it's been done more than twice

Shoutout to the editors, they're really the glue that holds everything together. Even with all these fantastic comedians it can't be easy to turn 100 minutes of duck searching into a funny and snappy 13 minute video. And to do it consistently across the series no less.

The literal red herring was fantastic, 10/10
For some reason the bit that was funniest to me was

The little 'yay' from the studio audience at 1:31 is everything to me
So if I'm counting right all 10 (+1) ducks were found by different contestants:
1. sticker on the confusing little box (+ red herring inside)
2. UV ink on the task
3. inside the breaker box
4. lighting strip on a wall
5. sticker under the shoe
6. inside alex's mug
7. in the table leg
8. in the hen
9. sticker under the flooring
10. "canard" painted on a ceiling beam

I would also argue that ripping off "no" from "no duck" label would be counted

This might just be my favourite task of all 14 series so far. It's so simple and yet it has everything that makes TM great - creativity, rage, enthusiasm, surprise, madness, naked Alex, and Chris Ramsey saying "ducks".

One of the all time best Taskmaster tasks.
My favorite thing is that there seems to be a direct correlation between how well they did and how much they hated the task.
Just realised that Phil Wang's "confusing little box" actually has 3 "ducks"... the word duck, the picture of a duck and the phrase "no duck" contains a duck.
oh my god I knew I recognised that box
The two phrases are just one, the phrase "ducks" is just "no ducks" with tape over "no". You can see that reasonably clearly at 2:15. And it's obviously telling you this is *not* one of the ducks.
I thought the confusing little box was destroyed in a fit of rage?

Chris Ramsey seems to be having the most fun in these. the shows where they review the tasks and get graded he is having just the best time. Sarah Millican is like that in series 14.
They're both from the same town
Chris Ramsey was one of the most consistently and sincerely joyous contestants there've been on Taskmaster. He's just genuinely amused by most everything & in any given moment that he's not, he eventually comes round to it LOL!
The Red "Herring" in the box. Genius.
Def one of my favorite groups AND tasks ❤ 🦆So many individual moments just sort of encapsulate TM all on their own 😂 Such as:
Judi: *casually takes out duck from Alex's teacup* "Honestly, where are you from?"
Alex: "West Sussex"
Judi: "No"
"Where are you from" is the second best compliment Alex ever received in my opinion. Right timing, perfect tone an mimics.
My favorite is still Katherine Ryan saying "Oh I understand perfectly well. You're a madman" s2 ep3 "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" task.

I saw an interview with Greg where someone had written on a forum that they'd ride him "like a rabid dog through hell" or something similar

I sincerely mean this… you’ve helped me through the darkest time of my life… the loss of my 4 children in a car accident. This show is my absolute go to for happiness! Please don’t ever stop. Thank you to Alex for creating this masterpiece.
That is an utterly horrifying situation to have to go through, truly, truly abhorrent. I just can't imagine it. I hope you manage to hold onto whatever purposes you find, please keep in contact with those around you and don't shut yourself away even if it you feel guilty doing so, you are allowed happiness and you are allowed for things to get better. You have my sincerest condolences.

Apparently this task was originally filmed for Champion of Champions 2 but got cut because everyone was too good at it, so maybe that

In fact it just occurred to me that in COC 2 it's highly likely that the task that replaced this one was Get the Duck In The Pond. Man Eds's disaster could have been saved if someone did really shit in this one on COC...

There was something unsettling in seeing the chicken blink during Ardal's turn
I didn’t notice it in the episode, but it’s funny to me now.
This is one of the task me and my boyfriend laughed pretty much all the way through. It's very chaotic. My favorite part is the stray duck and Greg saying "a bonus duck!"

This has got to be the most bonkers line-up of contestants the show has ever had. Normally you might get one oddball, but not four...!

While i love contestants finding loopholes or doing tasks exceptionally well so they only need a fraction of the time to complete, Chris' contribution is amazing. He's so joyful and energetic.

Very funny task, and loved the callbacks to other series.

When Chris said "why am I paranoid about ducks?". Funnily enough, there is a phobia where the person who suffers it is afraid that a duck is constantly watching them (anatidaephobia) 🤭

Btw one of my favorite tasks. They found 11 :D And destroyed the lab. And the studio commentary also hilarious.
I liked the part when they said "duck."
The task reads: "Find all 10 ducks. You must stay in the lab. Fastest Wins. You have a maximum of 20 minutes. Your time started when you entered the lab."
But, don't they need to leave the lab in order to get the hens??
From what I can gather, the lab is the small curtained room, and the room beyond the curtain but not beyond the door out of the room, I think the lab is split into two sections (sort of how some places have a separate hall for disinfecting before entering)
