That's an hour without traffic. If you have to commute downtown, that's 3-4 hours a day sitting in traffic. The closest sizeable cities are McKinney and Sherman and there aren't that many good jobs in those areas.

The homes that I see on the builder site starting in the 290's are in Crandall Tx South East of Dallas, Not Mckinney or Anna/Van Alstyne

I’ve never even heard of Van A (whatever) & I LIVE IN Dallas!
But usually, anything within an hour radius is considered Dallas to outsiders 😒
