Imagine cutting of half of the attack of Ursaluna, can use fake out or other priority against Farigiraf, using status move on Gholdengo, not letting any terrain or weather being use, removing swift swim or Clorophylle on the ennmies and the ghost type can be attacked by ursaluna blood moon !
I don't necessarily agree. What made series 6 annoying was the fact that they banned way to much pokemon as it took into consideration both singles and doubles ladder. They only banned the legends/paradox pokemon here and I think the pokemon we do get gives us a lot of variety. I could be wrong though. I do think my favorite regulation was either reg A or B. (I am just glad we don't have to fight Urshifu).
These type of restrictions are not necessarily meant to promote diversity. They’re meant to explore options outside of the typical meta defining pokemon we normally see. Like every game, there will always be a meta. This one will be no different. There will be mons that appear on a majority of teams that are powerful. It’s still a refreshing take for the competitive scene tho
I hope you're right! I think at every event, there will be a new Dondozo team that beats the current common Dozo counterplay and will do decently well in Day 2 of Regionals.
Having played some on the showdown b01 ladder my thoughts are: Palafin is good, but it can be hard finding ways to get safe pivots. People will overcommit to stoping it, which you can abuse. Specs gholdengo feels really good so far. Not as much incin as youd think. People want to use different stuff i guess. Hatt feels pretty strong tbh. Spore immune and eforce with life orb is cracked. Blood moon players need to revamp their sets a little. The old life orb set isnt it in this reg. Their arent nearly as many electric types running around and their isnt an overpowering ghost type either. So it feels worse onbthe defensive side then it did before. I think with some adaptation itll be back. Maybe with a tera fairy set using moonblast and earth power for very strong overall coverage? Idk but it needs to be worked on.
People also didn't use Inceneroar much for a while when it became legal in gen 9, it will drop in usage for a few weeks but eventually will be in every team again.
i gonna try this: Inci Gholdengo Pelipper Rillaboom Palafin Kingambit Probably try with guss too but i think this team should be great Dondozo Tatsugiri with Inci and Rillaboom might be interesting in regulation G, we saw Electabuzz with Calyrex ice, maybe this team can surprise people with Armarouge instead of Calyrex (i mean this team: Ursaluna, Smeargle, Farigiraf, Electabuzz, Annihilape and Armarouge)
driftblim is insane is the only flying type that learns trick room that makes it the best trick room setter for earthquke trick room , and its 1 of the only 3 pokemon that learn tailwind + trick room thats makes it so good in mid tier speeds that u dont know what route ur oppenent went
First thoughts only two mons in, base Scarlet / Violet had some of the worst Electric-type support ever. It should be better now with added mons, right?
Hisuian Decidueye with scrappy matches up well against Donsdozo, Iniceroar, Goldango and Rillaboom. And it has tailwind and its signature move is really good.
Dozo is a big one, you can even run Haze if you don't want to try to crit Leaf Blades. Lots of folks use Flamigo as a faster Scrappy user to outspeed and OHKO Gholdengo, Incin, and Rillaboom as an alternative to Decidueye
There are virtually no fairy, electric and fighting types in this meta, we have them but they are either not that strong or get countered pretty hard. So, Normals and Dragons will probably run rampant. Even Snorlax might become good again :D

I could be entirely off base with this but from a casual spectator's perspective, Wide Guard really took off when they introduced the Calyrex and Terapagos, ursaluna blood moon, etc. I think it still gets a ton of value, but I'm not 100% if it'll still be as good as it was last format.
Garchomp Sand has potential. The best Chomp team in Reg F consisted of Garchomp, Ttar, Corviknight, Kommo O, Lycanroc, and a Pokémon I’m forgetting (probably Incineroar), and that was topping events in a meta with Flutter Mane and Ogerpon.

Primarina in C tier is crazy. Atleast B tier possibly A depending on how the meta develops. She has great stats and water fairy is one of best types in game. Especially cause rain is going to likely be most dominant weather

Yes, Neutralizing Gas is a great ability, but there are teams that would appreciate a passive Amoonguss Spore, Thunder Wave block that also has great utility in Taunt and can 1v1 Ursh with its phys bulk Rocky Helmet and Strange Steam

Some mons to watch, depending on how the meta evolves, Shiftry and Metagross if Snow is strong or Grimmsnarl if Prankster Misty Terrain becomes valuable. I see a chance that Thunder Wave makes a huge resurgence. What will be that common team archetype that never really makes day 2, but for some reason is all over day 1, so you need an answer to? The addition of a bunch of mons isn't the only big change since early formats. TMs have added a lot more availability to a lot of moves. Dragapult and Brambleghast both get Poltergeist now. Is there a chance that instead of Haze you run Psych Up on Palafin? Knock Off is WAY more common than it was in earlier formats. Scald exists now, which it didn't before. Is Scorching Sands anything? I don't know. Will Stellar Tera be good?
Looking at my boxes of insane random idea on Showdown again, I kind of want to test out Stellar / Adaptability Dragalge in this format if there's a good Trick Room core it fits with.

hey man why jolteon so low? maybe wont be meta defining but its one of the best Sattackers with 130(literly only 4 pokemon outspeed it the whole format) speed and 110 S.attack , and has all the good electric moves electro web discharge volt switch and insane random move caverage + volt absorb to safely switch it in vs a cover move and there literly no other beter electric pokemon that alone should be bit higher no? espreseon the same maybe there is a lot of psychic mons but is the fastest phsychic with 110 speed and 130 S.atk the only pokemon with more S.Attack is 29 speed and learns expanding force that at least should make it one of the best pokemon for none trick room psy spam that is top tier

I searched for fully evolved SV mons and removed legendaries and mythicals manually, a better approach is find a list with all Regulation F Pokemon and then remove legends, that way stuff like Clefairy and P2 are there
Weezing is straight S tier imo. Turning off Dozo and taunt for amoonguss is crazy high value

Weavile in d teir is crazy after chien pao left the milk
Chien-pao isn't good for its typing, Sword of Ruin and imo Sucker Punch are what made it so strong and Weavile lacks those
