Downloaded the game 2 days ago, spent the first 6 hours exploring, learning, and killing the chained ogre. Day 2, spent an hour exploring and looking for the next boss. Now it’s day 3, I’ve got to tear some shit up with gyoubu
The thing I love the most about this game is that you have to play aggressive my favourite play style! It’s almost like you’re dancing, you gotta keep hitting back and forth until someone’s stance breaks 😂
I mean elden ring has everything the witcher has and more so I don’t get that and sekiro combat shits on ghost of tsushima why even bring up that game when it’s a downgrade of sekiro it does nothing unique and the combat is boring
Fun Facts : 1- One Armed-Wolf in Japanese isn't Sekiro... The Tengu of Ashina named you Sekiro as the for the Game's sake , the Tengu was Isshin the Old Man of course. ( Its called Sekijo or Sekijoh in Japanese... So they named him Sekiro as in English otherwise its Truly Sekijo for One Armed Wolf as a nickname ). 2- The Notion of being a True Shinobi is infact to Kill.... But also , a Shinobi must never forget Mercy. ( This is the True notion of being a Shinobi even in real life..... Dont be confused with Ninja ). Ninjas are a Whole different Story actually. Shinobi is a mixture of Samurai and Ninja.... Kinda exactly like Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima basically. 3- Shinobi's always have Lords just like Samurai...... Ninjas however are the Shadows and have no Lords , they only infiltrate and Kill and Ninjas never use Katanas unlike True Shinobi's. ( I know mostly people think Shinobi are Ninjas because of Naruto , but no its totally different in many meanings lol ). 😅

All I know is that shinobi is a Japanese word and ninja is Chinese. Anyway, it is interesting that in Japan there is no shinobijutsu, only ninjutsu. Agreed. As someone who's been a fan of FromSoftware gaming for a while, since when the first Dark Souls came out and I completed the main story and defeated all the main bosses, I've always looked forward to other Dark Souls and other extremely challenging games. Skyrim was my first Open-world game that I had an insane amount of hours playing. I took 2 years and some months to beat the main story mode because I got sucked into all these little side quests and missions that I'd forget completely about the main story for a week. After finally beating Skyrim's story mode, I wanted to become a God of that world. I know, quite risky for a passionate writer as myself to want to write a character in my head in this Skyrim story as a future God. However, I wanted to use more than just the Greatsword of Cold as my main sword. So, I got my crafting, potions, and smithing skills way up so I could have much stronger weapons. A normal greatsword, after becoming a level 60 I was able to upgrade the weapons power by a lot. Then I found Miraak's Sword and stole and kept that one. I've only ever felt that amount of amazement, wonder, and gratitude for having beaten such a difficult game as Skyrim, that was UNTIL Dark Souls. Didn't play 2, but played Dark Souls 3. That was fun. That said, this is my and a High School friend Christian's favorite.

This is an excellent game, but due to its difficulty, I never played it because I didn't dare, I wouldn't be able to handle the disappointment because I wouldn't be able to finish it...
I almost rage quit playing the game against the final Boss Isshin Sword Saint, but you gotta keep pushing and just watch guides on how to cheese or beat certain bosses easier. We can't all be as good as @shirrako!

I made it passed genichiro with that lightning attack, took me 3 to 4 hours of dying while high on crack to beat him. Next boss was gorilla. Gave up after that. WAAAY too hard
They have not. The game has always had an unlocked frame rate and dynamic resolution scaling on the PS4pro. The ps5 is just able to max these out at 1800p 60fps. I think that’s the resolution anyway.
@@ToxMod yes I’m in the middle of completing a new game plus run to get all trophies as I missed the second hirata estate part so missed the second owl boss fight etc and the ending to do with it. I’ve had the game since release and got the collectors edition. Im just having a break to complete horizon zero dawn again quickly on new game plus to grab the last couple trophies they added for that before the sequel comes out and for a quick story refresh etc.
My friend has played almost all the Next gen games made by FromSoftware. He says all of their games are "Asian" level hard. Even the easiest level is still challenging in some ways. I hate when people say the bosses are difficult and clunky and off-balanced, like they're made by a Japanese company. They're going to make every boss harder than the last. I also like that Sekiro is in Japanese, as an American who's been watching anime and read well over a hundred manga by now, it's something of a passion of mine to go to visit, and maybe live in Japan, and so getting to watch a gameplay while picking up on the language that I've been studying for the last 8 or so years now is fun. I can actually hear and reasonably easily understand what they're saying.
Yeah i like it but unfortunately it doesn't have the difficulty option 😕 and it doesn't show you a marker where you need to go you have to figure it out yourself

How did you make defeating Gyoubu so easy?!?! I've probably died 40+ times to him. I've tried firecrackers... Everything. I've come close but I still end up getting my ass kicked. I'm borderline ready to give up.
Abit late but uh, the 3 consecutive attacks oniwa does, if you parry you can stun him, or if you dont want to completely fight him and get away without getting hit at all, search RUclips for gyoubu oniwa cheese
@@shamusminer985 Dark Souls messed me up with the controls because I was a Skyrim guy and was pretty damn good too, I had collected a bunch of high-powered bows and a bunch of legendary greatswords, but Dark Souls still takes the cake as the toughest game I've played. I know the second one was tougher than all the others, but seriously, Gwyn killed be about 10 times and I almost gave up before my friend who also played it told me the secrets to beating him. I had to have my friend be the cheat-sheet for me to beating Gwyn. Looking back, Gwyn was my favorite boss of that game.

I broke my controller during a boss fight...coz I cannot beat that boss and got angry....Since that moment, I no longer touch this game 😅 Note: that boss = the 1st boss (Genreal Naomori Kawarada) 🤣
I miss this game man.... This and DS2 with DS3 aswell. Managed to reach NG+4 in all of them awsome games.... I got Platinum in Sekiro for all Endings , same with Bloodborne and DS3. I just finished Elden Ring with a 100% Completion run , i might revisit Sekiro for the Gauntlet Runs as the last time i played Sekiro was from 2020..... What an Awsome game indeed. And nice playthrough bro 🔥💯 Big Souls-Veteran here , i spent 250+ hrs in Sekiro , 300+ in DS3 and 500+ in Bloodborne lol... And currently standing at 200hrs in Elden Ring 😅 Man what a Company Fromsoft is , they nailed it with all their Games.... Elden Ring should be GOTY 2022 much like Sekiro did in 2019 without a doubt. 💯
@@Forgman It was my most exhausting task in DS3 , but Guides will easily Help out. ( Just make sure you buy lots of Rusted Coins and try to put levels in Luck Stat ). You will get Platinum in no time bro. 👍🏼 Hardest Plats are DS2 and DS3 honestly... Nioh and Nioh 2 are also Hard Platinum trophy achievements , Elden Ring however and Bloodborne are easy... Just have to NG+4 for different Endings and try to Explore everything in the Game otherwise you wont get Platinum in those Games. ( My most enjoyable Plat run was DS3 , Sekiro and Elden Ring for the Challenge and Fun ). Goodluck on that man. 💯 I also enjoyed the Platinum run in Demon's Souls Remake but it wasn't crazy or much either compared to previous games or Elden Ring lol. This person just runs through the game. Not your typical "no commentary walkthrough". It's more akin to a speedrun. Examples of why this walkthrough sucks compared to others -> - This person doesn't stop at item prompts so you can read what they are about.. 5 min. in Lord Kuro gives Wolf the Kusabimaru, the katana you'll be using throughout the whole game and a major story item. The person just X's the description prompt. The description that says it was given to Lord Kuro, that it's an heirloom of the Harata family, that the Harata family is a descendant family of Ashina - don't expect to learn any item prompts they just X through all of them (antidote powder, pellets, etc. etc.) - They don't even go through all of the story prompts. When he wakes up with the Sculptor at the Dilapidated Temple they don't choose the prompt "How did I get here". They just seem to be blasting through the whole game... - At 59:14 this person stabs a gigantic mutant "god" snake in it's eye. While this snake is flailing around, this gigantic mutant snake, they're just standing there and walking around underneath it at a spot right below it where you can't get hurt. - They don't use prosthetic tools? Don't like them? Don't know how? Idk, don't care. But don't expect any cool combo's to be shown or half the game to really be displayed with the 10 prosthetic tools you use until hours into the walkthrough. Why this is I have no idea. - They never use special items either... So again, it's like they hate their items and have played the game so much they don't care to use them. This is just a speedrun. Don't expect to find the right combo of items to use to help you take out enemies or any item usages at all besides the healing gourd. There's zero immersion in this walkthrough! It's the weirdest, most boring walkthrough I've ever tried watching. They never stop to check out a new area, they don't care about story prompts, they don't use all of what the game has to offer. It's just someone rampaging through the game. There are many other 4k/60FPS No Commentary Walkthrough's of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice where the person will actually slow tf down and stop to read things, try to follow the story, try to stop and enjoy new atmosphere's and try to entertain the viewer. This is not that. This is just some person on their 20th run going as fast as they can. Super boring walkthrough I'd try a different one imo.
i was doubting to buy when i saw some katana action.... i was like 50 % sure to buy it at some cool katana action... but i was 100% down at the grappling hook
From Software pulling the boundaries of game level designs, this is hard to create. trashing away generic jump mechanics, cheesy hack and slash, map exploration, even tutorial mode is different than other games. I hope AAA dev games can learn and developing much wider range of thinking inspired from From Soft. congrats for the GOTY, respect for the team [it is hard to develop such this masterpiece]
You have to acquire young lords bell charm, it's at the start of the game after first mini-boss and before chained ogre. Old lady gives it to you when you speak to her in her house

I couldn't make it through the first part of the game due to it's difficult dynamic. I'm ready to give it another go by focusing on stealthy maneuvers

Every enemy in every game has a pattern figure out that pattern and master it until u can parry every single move without breaking a sweat

Just block his all attack like block non stop and when he pause for sec hit and get some blow😂 thats how I killed him only died like 20 times
Gyoubu is a very easy boss.I beat him first time. Just parry his attack.

I miss this game man.... This and DS2 with DS3 aswell. Managed to reach NG+4 in all of them awsome games.... I got Platinum in Sekiro for all Endings , same with Bloodborne and DS3.
I just finished Elden Ring with a 100% Completion run , i might revisit Sekiro for the Gauntlet Runs as the last time i played Sekiro was from 2020..... What an Awsome game indeed. And nice playthrough bro 🔥💯
Big Souls-Veteran here , i spent 250+ hrs in Sekiro , 300+ in DS3 and 500+ in Bloodborne lol... And currently standing at 200hrs in Elden Ring 😅 Man what a Company Fromsoft is , they nailed it with all their Games.... Elden Ring should be GOTY 2022 much like Sekiro did in 2019 without a doubt. 💯
I couldnt do plat for ds3, the covenant grinding seemed, like such, a hefty task, maybe i'll go back to it however

@@Forgman It was my most exhausting task in DS3 , but Guides will easily Help out. ( Just make sure you buy lots of Rusted Coins and try to put levels in Luck Stat ). You will get Platinum in no time bro. 👍🏼 Hardest Plats are DS2 and DS3 honestly... Nioh and Nioh 2 are also Hard Platinum trophy achievements , Elden Ring however and Bloodborne are easy... Just have to NG+4 for different Endings and try to Explore everything in the Game otherwise you wont get Platinum in those Games. ( My most enjoyable Plat run was DS3 , Sekiro and Elden Ring for the Challenge and Fun ). Goodluck on that man. 💯 I also enjoyed the Platinum run in Demon's Souls Remake but it wasn't crazy or much either compared to previous games or Elden Ring lol.
I'm currently aiming for Platinum on Witcher 3 Wild Hunt , i just started the awsome RPG Game.... But ohh man if u think DS3 was Hard , lol just wait 😅 Witcher 3 is insane and very tedious honestly but i'm aiming for it before i can play Wo Long , or Lies of P and other upcoming Souls games eventually. 😉

This person just runs through the game. Not your typical "no commentary walkthrough". It's more akin to a speedrun. Examples of why this walkthrough sucks compared to others ->
- This person doesn't stop at item prompts so you can read what they are about.. 5 min. in Lord Kuro gives Wolf the Kusabimaru, the katana you'll be using throughout the whole game and a major story item. The person just X's the description prompt. The description that says it was given to Lord Kuro, that it's an heirloom of the Harata family, that the Harata family is a descendant family of Ashina - don't expect to learn any item prompts they just X through all of them (antidote powder, pellets, etc. etc.)
- They don't even go through all of the story prompts. When he wakes up with the Sculptor at the Dilapidated Temple they don't choose the prompt "How did I get here". They just seem to be blasting through the whole game...
- At 59:14 this person stabs a gigantic mutant "god" snake in it's eye. While this snake is flailing around, this gigantic mutant snake, they're just standing there and walking around underneath it at a spot right below it where you can't get hurt.
- They don't use prosthetic tools? Don't like them? Don't know how? Idk, don't care. But don't expect any cool combo's to be shown or half the game to really be displayed with the 10 prosthetic tools you use until hours into the walkthrough. Why this is I have no idea.
- They never use special items either... So again, it's like they hate their items and have played the game so much they don't care to use them. This is just a speedrun. Don't expect to find the right combo of items to use to help you take out enemies or any item usages at all besides the healing gourd.
There's zero immersion in this walkthrough! It's the weirdest, most boring walkthrough I've ever tried watching. They never stop to check out a new area, they don't care about story prompts, they don't use all of what the game has to offer. It's just someone rampaging through the game.
There are many other 4k/60FPS No Commentary Walkthrough's of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice where the person will actually slow tf down and stop to read things, try to follow the story, try to stop and enjoy new atmosphere's and try to entertain the viewer. This is not that. This is just some person on their 20th run going as fast as they can.

From Software pulling the boundaries of game level designs, this is hard to create.
trashing away generic jump mechanics, cheesy hack and slash, map exploration, even tutorial mode is different than other games.
I hope AAA dev games can learn and developing much wider range of thinking inspired from From Soft.

You have to acquire young lords bell charm, it's at the start of the game after first mini-boss and before chained ogre. Old lady gives it to you when you speak to her in her house
This game looks really hard, I like the scene you stabbed the huge scary snake in the eye 😂😂😂 I felt it's pain.
Whole game isn't hard, only boss fights are, people have misconception about souls games, that they think whole games are hard 😅
