Enjoy life, girl! Many of us can't afford that lifestyle or are stuck at work all day and completely wiped out in the evenings and all we can do is watch YT 😅😂
I think I told you before but I love how clear you are with money! I am sick and tired of all the ppl who never say how expensive or cheap their day to day life is... with what you earn to what you spend I really love the reality of your videos... I am proud of you and that's the reason so many ppl following you because you are the friend we all want to have... greetings from Hamburg!!!
Hey, Im from Hamburg as well :) Our City seems downright cheap now after watching this. Almost 9$ for a small cup of ice cream is wild lol. That said, Taylor is so right with what she said in the end and it did look really damn good so why the hell not.
That's because generally it's considered impolite to discuss such things especially with strangers and not everyone is comfortable with it as well. It's always about people trying to hide things, not so much about being real, as it is a preference for some. Taylor wants to create videos about financial details so for her it might be a neutral subject that she feels comfortable discussing.
The way that you showed your expense was awesome. The combination of traveling, eating out, making your own food and showing us the breakup is one of the most creative video ever. I watch many videos but none where like yours. Keep it up.❤
as an investment banker, I genuinely envy this life style, work doesn't leave much time for exploring the city what so ever, but hey love to see someone else enjoying their life, and motivating people to be better everyday, you are amazing Taylor!!!
I feel this so hard! I just moved here from the UK after watching these types of videos for years and it's kind of a double edged sword because a well-paying job in finance is what enabled me to get a visa and thats amazing. but then.. ok when I do actually EXPERIENCE new york..
No need to envy. It’s just not actionable for most people. So rare for someone to be smart enough to go to Ivy, but attractive enough to be a model, and then brave enough to be an entrepreneur in their early 20s. Less of a blueprint for peers more as a person to look up to for my children the future
Please take time off U deserve a life next to work, Even if it’s just a walk in ur lunch break or a park marathon, Or a two-day vacation on the weekends.
Taylor, I can’t believe you have almost 500k subscribers! I remember when you only had, like, 20k. Good for you girl!!! I love your posts and I always look forward to watching them. You’re so transparent which is really refreshing, and I’ve learned so much by watching your channel. Keep up the great work! Sending positive energy and best wishes from NorCal. 😊 🐢
This brought me back to my life before kids, and when I was running my own consulting biz. Enjoy your life now, when you have control over your entire day. (Now, I answer to my employer and have to work REALLY hard to fit in just 30 mins of "me time" in-between getting kids out the door in the morning, 10-15 meetings each day scarfing down my lunch in-between calls, cooking dinner for the kids, cleaning up the messy-ass kitchen and house with toys everywhere, and dipping into sleep time for that precious "me time" after my wife and I divide and conquer chores and try our best to catch up 1:1 at night). Also interestingly enough, Minneapolis food & drink prices are basically on-par with NYC with the same tiers of establishments!
This was an excellent video for so many reasons. The storytelling, the pacing, the cuts, the simplicity, and the details were very well done. Nice job on continuing to grow as a RUclipsr.
I amaze this lifestyle. My life completely change and I feel so much better. Just finished reading The 21 Former Doctor Secrets Rachel Morgan 👀 IT IS S0 GOOOD
Interesting how rent is outrageously expensive in New York, but restaurants and takeaway seem quite affordable. I live in Zürich, Switzerland and rent is way lower, but restaurants way more expensive.
As someone in Australia doing the conversion maths while watching, that was the part that stuck out to me too. I expected NY to be so much more expensive but eating out in NY is the same or even cheaper than doing so in Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane
Insightful video - thanks for the perspective. I live in a very expensive California city, but can eat for two weeks on what you spent during a couple of your days! I go grocery shopping once a week and get take out once a week.
Love to seeing people from different cultures exploring Indian food and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of Indian-themed spots in NYC! It's amazing how Indian cuisine and culture can bring people together across the world. Hope you enjoyed the flavors and had a great time ^_^
This channel is incredibly refreshing. I recently discovered it browsing through RUclips, and I'm completely hooked. Your dedication to your YT community and the quality of your videos (and content) are truly inspiring and heartwarming. Keep up the excellent work and positive vibes!
You are a beautiful young woman. Enjoy New York City as much as you can. Stay as long as you can afford to because New York City is like no other place on earth. I lived there for 65 years! Had to leave for personal reasons but I do miss certain aspects of it, like the food. There is no food like New York City food! Wishing you lots of luck!
I'm a student of English, and today I found your video, now I follow your channel because I am learning more different and new vocabulary and questions.
Enjoy watching your mini movie! The tone of your voice and the speed of your speech is spot on for me as audience. Feeling intrigued and curious about what comes next. Well done!
Hey Taylor, was cool meeting you this week. When you said you were working on a video I didn't realize the coffee shop was literally part of the video. You have great East Village taste although now I'm wondering why I've never seen a celebrity at Cafe Mogador
So great meeting you too Mark!! Was finishing up editing this video as we spoke 😅 I also haven’t seen a celeb at cafe Mog, only my friends have. What a rip off
I live in the Philadelphia suburbs and 29 years old. Always wanted to live in NYC or close to it in the Jersey suburbs. Fun fact I’m a DoorDasher/Uber Eats driver. Love your down to earth personality.
Another wonderful time of being educated and entertained with Taylor! Thanks, girl! You're like me when it comes to coffee. It can be hot or it can be cold, but it can't be in-between!
Loved this video! Makes me miss nyc soo much!! Just wanted to mention, for some reason the video picture kept getting like blurry at parts throughout for me. Idk if it was something on my end randomly but wanted to let you know in case anyone else noticed this too❤❤
Watching your videos truly brightens up my day. Your living a dream of mind.! A content creator living in the heart of new york city.! Love from Texas God Bless

Great video! I totally agree with you regarding coffee - lukewarm coffee is the worst! For your coffee/food purchases, are you allowed to write any of those off as business expenses? Also, it sounds like you buy the books you read. Have you ever considered checking out books from the library instead? NYPL is awesome and they have many locations in Manhattan.
love love LOVE these vlogs! Visiting New York City is on my bucketlist (there's a direct flight from Honolulu to JFK) so I love seeing these cool little cafes, things to do, and places to check out with the prices. Super helpful for ballparking expenses. Been jotting down some of your recs onto my Notion notebook haha. Love it! Keep it coming! ❤🌺🌴☀ mahalo from sunny Hawaii!
Really enjoyed watching your videos as always. Interesting to see others weekly spending in comparison to my own. In terms of coffee temp, with you for an americano, either piping hot or cold, but a latte for me is drunk lukewarm.
I've been watching your vlogs for a long time now and I just wanted to say how much I love them! You're such a cheering and transparent person, and your videos always brighten my day. Best wishes and lots of love to you! Keep up the amazing work! 💖

love to see ya living your best life Taylor 👏👏👏 your vlogs are informative and you’re making want to move back to NYC, those were some of best times of my life ❤
I completely relate to feeling guilty over smaller/frivolous purchases. I was raised by two frugal parents (my dad is a financial advisor) so now I always feel SUPER guilty doing uber eats (I only do it 4 times a month) or buying a coffee or getting an extra fun thing at target. But then I remind myself that I make ~600k a year so an extra ~$300/month in small purchases that make me super happy are SO worth it! Life is short and if u can afford to treat yourself you might as well:)
This is my very first time leaving a comment on someone's RUclips but gotta say cool channel I'm a Native New yorker and after watching this video all is super real and this girl can EAT!! Wow 😳 lol I luv it keep doing ya thing Tee Tee 🙏👊💪💪 right on!!

Hi Taylor! I love your videos, because of you, I started making NYC content myself too! I'm bad right now lmao but im learning and improving along the way. Thank you for the constant motivation and positivity in your videos! All love 🙏❤
"Like a Bell ring-a-ding-ding" . Thanks for making me laugh with that one. Flashback, I used to go the Mercury Lounge in the 90's. Man, I am getting old.
Seems like you're balancing a good amount of reasonable expenses with spending you value and enrich your life. I think your income can def support it (from your other video!). Impressive for NYC Taylor!
I love content like this where you’re taking us with you unlike other creators I’ve seen that just list off their daily expenses. I don’t live in nyc but it’s very interesting to see your love of your neighborhood and a different side to the city than most show
Taylor, I spend almost $355.00 per month on food . About $35.00 on car gas . Plus about $11.00 on odds n ends stuff. My rent is only $610.00 a month; for my 3 bedroom upper flat (which includes water). Sheesh; Buffalo NY is way cheaper to live in than NYC. [gas + electric + cable brings my total for month to just $1,500]. I don't eat out much...
I live in Buffalo and I've lived in NYC and trust me, there is a whole lot more free things to do in NYC that are amazing. Not to mention the choices of cheap and awesome food. Or really expensive and awesome food. Plus most New Yorkers are pretty friendly and can help you find what you need. I like Buffalo and I think it's great but it's a totally different league than the city. I remember never really being bored. My dad grew up in the city and told me if I was ever bored to just ride the Staten Island ferry and grab a slice of pizza or a sandwich on the island and then ride back. I really liked not having to drive anywhere and pay for parking. I did have a motorcycle so I never paid for parking and it was really easy to find a spot.
I was going to go to NYC for a quick 2 days in July, then thought no I will do it when I have more time. But then I watch this video and I am rethinking my decision. I have never spent much time in the East Village. Dammit. Now I need to go and hang out there.
Loved this video, Taylor! It was insightful for me, as I'm also in my 20s and trying to track my expenses, save more $ and have a better relationship with money in general 😉🐢
Also totally with you on the Luke-warm drinks... my colleagues thought I had like 6 coffees a day when really I was just going to microwave it so it was the temperature I could drink it at ahaha
You should go to Abraco in the East Village. I believe they have the best Latte in the city. Their Olive Oil cake is outstanding as well. Great, authentic atmosphere as well.
Heyy Taylor, i really appreciate ur "effort". And I just love all of videos. It's really happy Vibe and yaah very knowledgeable!!! Really enjoyed and u are myyy inspiration...and so much fun, loving video and you are amazing taylor whatever you do dear!! Always good luck and have a wonderful day Bell❤
I was surprised to hear you're floating this on a content creator salary. The whole market feels over-saturated these days so I thought the money might be drying up there in terms of what the platforms pay out, but sounds like it's not the case. Good for you for being able to optimize this way. Got to the Brooklyn part of the vid and not sure if you've ever tried Four Horsemen in Williamsburg but that's a really nice spot for food and wine, too. Thirst Merchants is also a nice retail shop in Fort Greene if you're looking for natural wines or just more eclectic selections overall. Lastly, check out the book Die With Zero by Bill Perkins if you get a chance. It really expands on your closing thoughts.
Really neat you showed your viewers Fort Greene. Seriously underrated spot in Brooklyn. Next time if you are in the area visit Brooklyn Hero shop they got great italian sandwiches.
Luke warm coffee is indeed trash. Hot or ice cold, no in between! I always drink my coffee out of a Zoujirushi travel mug; keeps it hot (or cold) literally all day, even with the lid open.
Enjoy life, girl! Many of us can't afford that lifestyle or are stuck at work all day and completely wiped out in the evenings and all we can do is watch YT 😅😂
You just described my life perfectly
Why is this so accurate 🙈
Lots of love from india 🇮🇳 ♥

You nailed it. I used to eat 1$ slices of pizza and get a whiskey/beer combo for 5 bucks. Rent however ate half my income.
i live in Paris and i was thinking the same thing. Even the coffee is more expensive
Same as London/Bristol in the UK. Prices here are so much more expensive than anything on this vid!

You should go to Abraco in the East Village. I believe they have the best Latte in the city. Their Olive Oil cake is outstanding as well. Great, authentic atmosphere as well.
Love Abraco!

Taylor Bell, This is great! I liked it and subscribed!
Really neat you showed your viewers Fort Greene. Seriously underrated spot in Brooklyn. Next time if you are in the area visit Brooklyn Hero shop they got great italian sandwiches.
I also stan for Barry’s as a self splurge.
This is my old neighborhood and it's good to see Cafe Mogador is still there.
Could you do a house tour of one of the bowling alley houses you mentioned? Look rly interesting.
Love your energy in this NYC vlog! Your enthusiasm is contagious, and it's awesome to see the city through your eyes. Love from 🇱🇰
Luke warm coffee is indeed trash. Hot or ice cold, no in between! I always drink my coffee out of a Zoujirushi travel mug; keeps it hot (or cold) literally all day, even with the lid open.
The second you mentioned Lewis Hamilton you had my heart 😍😍❤️❤️ So glad to discover you.
Taking notes for my next trip to NYC! Such a fun video, love your energy! 😊
