One twist of yours is the amount of my whole head’s HAIR😩😩😩
Brenda Nkhoma lmao same.... Her hair is AMAZING!!! I have thin, fine, low porosity hair and I’m trying to learn how to better care for it.
Brenda Nkhoma 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same hair omg so thin
Same!!!!
SERIOUSLY!
My hair is low porosity as well people don’t understand the struggle. Like we soak our hair in water and some how the middle of our head will be completely dry 🤦🏾♀️
Lol!!
Yep!!
In a nutshell Smh
Yesss omg
Smh the literal meaning of disrespect😭
Made me wanna go moisturize my hair real quick!
lol...so true but mine is in braids😭😭
lmao.... only if it needs it! I'm against excessive moisturing
@@FusionofCultures it definitely needs it 😩🤣
Me too.,
I just completed moisturing mine,lol
Steps 👇🏾
1. Water
2. Leave In conditioner
3. Seal with oil or Shea butter
4. Plastic bag for 30mins to 1 hour to lock in moisture. You can wear overnight but not recommended to do every night.
Thank you so much, i love you!!!
How many times a week should I do this?
Wait if you do it with a non leave in you shouldn’t leave it in that long right? Cause the leave in you can keep
@@ricci3950 its good to do it once or twice every week!
What’s the name of the Shea butter you used in this video?
I be telling these fools that their hair is not nappy. It is just dry. You got to Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
Your hair is a beautiful mass to behold 🌞
Using a good brand of distilled water and putting it in concoctions helped me battled that myth along with helping me retain and grow my hair.
My hair is 'nappy' though.
I HAVE 4C HAIR, and no matter how 'moisturized' it is, it stays 'nappy'.
This comment doesn't make sense.
@@Dude-dx5ns thank you. I was just about to comment that. my hair is "nappy" in texture whether moisturized or not. such ignorance.
@@Dude-dx5ns we all know 4c is the kinkiest and tightest curl lol. However, for 3c /4a dry hair and moisturized drastically changes the texture. Not every curly type is the same as 4c lol.
....these fools
😂😂😂😂
I love how she says "water" with her accent. So cute. 😊
I like how she says vitamin.
I like how she says"here"🤷🏿♀️❤
Wat-taa lol
She doesn't have an accent, she's English 😄
Sonia R u can’t BE the language U SPEAK IT
Is it me or her hair is growing right back up😍♥️
Love the music, that's a South African song. Very romantic too 🤩🇿🇦
Men love it when women take care of their natural hair. It drives black men crazy, in a good way, when they see black women healthy, good looking, and that gorgeous natural hair.
📍 shhhhhh that’s a secret.🤫💞
no one cares what black men like 😐
@@michaelamcfadden4459 😂
@@michaelamcfadden4459 LMAO jeeez
Shut up 😫🤮
It looks sooooo juicy! You definitely reminded me of adding the plastic bag or cap to get the moisture locked. I haven’t done that in ages.
See! All the old skool stuff still serves us well lol... Thanks boo cakes! Hope the whole family is safe and well 😘
FusionofCultures It really does. We are all well and I hope the same for you and the family xx
So true. Omg I have to go back to this

I transitioned abt 2 years ago and I have been struggling to find a way to moisturize my hair. I tried out this method and it worked 🤪 thank you so much 😊
Your hair is so satisfying! 😍
Oh thank you! 😂
I felt the same way... Like its therapeutic watching her hair
Love the SA music 💃🏼
Hello what's the song if you could help
@@thatafricanqueen5053 Ami Fanku- Ungowami. It's in the description box.👍🏾
Me too, home sick now.
I’m literally in awe. I dread doing my hair because I was doing like double the twists your doing. I didn’t think my hair would come out right in bigger twists. I was completely wrong. Thank you!!!
Was just passing by but now I've subscribed after hearing Ami Faku ungowami 😍😍
Why I feel like all the naturals I’ve seen with super moisturized hair.....and she finally gave us the real secret. 😝
I ABSOLUTELY love it!!! My 17 year old daughter's hair is down to her waist and thick like yours and we suffer with severe dryness. We're about to try it right now, can't wait!
“Moisture on lockdown “ indeed 💯👌
Watching all the way from South African and I loved that you played our music ❤️😍😍🎶
Same here
Ok, thanks for the update! I have low porosity hair also. I do the LCO method also. But I never put the plastic bag over my hair when re-moisturizing. Only on wash day with deep conditioner. Cool!
I can’t get enough of this video. It reminds me I’m doing the right thing for my hair.
Your hair makes me smile so much! 😍
The plastic bag is how we locked moisture in back in the 80's when we had Care Free Curl...tfs
Watching you unravel your moist twists gave me slight anxiety lol. I could never 😩 they'd have to fully dry and set or else I'd have to start the process all over again. Must be nice 🤤
lmao.... I wouldn't usually either. I put them back in twist right after as I had nowhere to go.
Me too sis. Initially it will look like this, then turn into a dry bushy mess of it's not totally dry
This extra step makes lot of sense!
I saw someone else did and I've been doing it.It works well on low proracity hair.Thank you
Even till this day, I still look at your hair and be like wow! 😍.... Love the South African music❤️🇿🇦
Aww thank you Matty! 🥰 Glad you enjoyed the music too
Hello. What is the song about please? It sounds so beautiful. Wow.
I found the translation in the comments of the video. It’s beautiful. Wow.
What's the name of the song? I enjoyed your video
This was very helpful. Thank you, Laila, for sharing this moisturizing technique with us!
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for helping me to finally realize I have low porosity hair and how to properly moisturize.
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you for the tutorial. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 love the music too!!
Thank you for this simple video! I get overwhelmed when of Natural hair you tubers speak about their hair because it gets so complicated! I also have low porosity hair so this video was so helpful!
That’s wow 😳, I love love love the definition ❤️🙏
THE best video I’ve seen on re-moisturizing the hair🥰
EXCELLENT tutorial! I really appreciate your CLEAR and DETAILED instructions. Thanks for the product recommendations! Love the before and after. You AND your hair are GORGEOUS.
Even though my hair is short (I get hair cuts) I enjoyed this video. As a 4b low porosity girl I’ve figured out that heat does in fact help products penetrate my hair. The shower cap at the end is really the truth and the light 🙌🏽
Your hair is GORGEOUS! And so is your complexion 🥰
Finally, someone with my hair texture! Thank you so much. I will be following your regiments! A new subbie here!!!
Your hair is beautiful and reminds me of my daughters hair. I shared this video with her and told her to follow you! Just beautiful!
Yes! YOUR HAIR IS THICK AND GORGEOUS!😍😍😍Thanks for sharing. This is how I moisturize my hair, minus the plastic bag, which I will do from now on. Lol. Thank you!.😊
You are such a vibe. Yessss hair and music in the background👌🏾💜
Wow! Looks absolutely beautiful and transformed! One Love💕 Thanks for the video
Cantu is a staple man 👌🏾 I love that line. Also, will be purchasing my shea butter because I love and trust everything you do and promote. You definitely now natural hair girl. I want to be just like you 😍😩
Thank you so much for the straightforward explanation on the proper way to re-moisturize our curly hair! I never got that I needed to smooth the hair until it felt physically smooth or putting a cap on so the products could sink into the hair. That makes so much sense! I’m going to moisturize my hair this afternoon!!! I’ve been following you for years and always learn so much from you! Please keep up the good work. Stay safe!
You are so welcome Judi! I'm always happy to share the little I know. Thanks for sticking by all this time too.
FusionofCultures You’re most welcome!
I was just about to figure out on how to moisturize my natural hair and your video popped up. AMAZING 😍
Glad I could help!
@@FusionofCultures when did you detangle? Or did you not for a refresher?
Love the style and the ease of this. This is the level of no hassle I am on these days. Thank you Laila!
Applying the bag and covering it after moisturizing is an awesome tip. Thanks so much❤ Cant believe I didnt think about this 😂 having low porosity hair was a struggle for me for years. We focus so much on hair type and all that really matters is your hair porosity. I Definitely gotta make a video about this.
Great results 😍 I sometimes use my heating cap with my leave-in, works great. Thanks 😊
Those twists look so good! 🤩
LCO ! Love love love this method to retaining moisture for my hair and my girls as well!
I have the same hair routine except I shampoo then deep condition.
1. Prepoo with diy oil/ mask
2. Shampoo with Creme of Nature sulfate free shampoo
3. (Bi-weekly) wash with bentonite clay mix
4. Deep condition with DIY/ store bought
5. ACV or Hibiscus Fenugreek tea
6. Apply aloe all over hair
7. Apply leave in to wet hair and tea tree oil and water mixture to scalp
7. Seal with diy Ayurvedic oil
Wham, bam, thank you mam!😊
Girl I’m with you on using a bin liner as a plastic cap as that was all I had when I was deep conditioning the other day 😂
lmao! It's currently in it's rightful place lining the bin... I didn't want to waste it after 😂🤣
FusionofCultures can you use cling film instead of the bin liner? Thanks for doing this video! 👍🏼
@@karenasamoah4480 yhh u can
is one braid made with 3 strands considered as a cultural appropriation?
Yes, this was definitely helpful! Thank you !
Thank you. I have low porosity hair and oh my gosh your hair is amazing. I'm definitely going to try this.
This has come just at the right time, so thank you 😄
You're so welcome!
My hair wasn’t always low porosity. Very recently I noticed the change in how my hair was absorbing water and how I’d been struggling with moisture retention. I’m learning quickly that the plastic cap makes a world of difference. I’ve started doing it during wash day after putting in my leave-in too. You have to FORCE that water in! Loving the boho vibe of this video. ❤️
Do you ever deep condition without a full wash day sometimes because your hair is just that dry?
@@lifeofdd7909 personally no. Now I know about deep conditioning, I do it during washday or the day after. Moisture in all its glory is something I still struggle with
I do not know your location but here in the US, some states have harder water than others. That really makes a difference on our hair as well.
For some reason.. The music you added hugged mee warmly. So lovely watching you care for your hair. ❤
Beautiful! You and your hair. Neffy !!
Your hair looks good
Thank you!
I have lo-porosity hair too. I moisturize daily because it's short. I'll try your tips though
But won't the hair feel too oily?
Aina Lona the trick is to only use water if you moisturize daily. The water by itself will reactivate the product that is in your hair. At least that is what I do and works so good for me.
Great video I love how detailed you were whoop whoop, can’t wait to try this
HER CURLS! 😍😍😍
6:38 - casually watching and a song in your language starts playing, shoutout to all the South African Xhosa girls watching!! 🌸💐
Edit: It's Zulu 🙈
Qhayiya Nongogo it’s Xhosa
Zyne it’s so beautiful who is the artist?
That's Xhosa hun.
@@marshamutisi8442 it's Ami Faku.
Lovely sis! Moisture on lock! 🙌🏿👌🏿
Thank you! 🤗We try oohh
Your hair is the best version of African hair ive ever seen.It always looks AMAZING!!I can see now its because your moisture level is high😍😀😀
Ooh girl I needed this today! Lol. Going to try some of your products. 😊
I looove camille rose products! Now I need to try to try your product line 😊
Thank you so much for sharing this.🙌🏾❤️♥️
No problem 😊
Thank you for this video. We appreciate all the time and effort it takes to share and make great videos
The best on moisturize I have watched so far. Girl, I love your spray bottle.
I’m wearing a few twists and one random braid(still learning) that are moisturized. This video was so therapeutic to watch and now I know to wear a cap after my sessions to seal it in
I'm starting out going natural and needed to figure out what to do and how to do it when it comes to low porosity hair Thank you soooooooo much
I LOVE IT SIS. Great job!
I love how she takes care of her hair. Very good!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!😭😭 I've been struggling for ages!! I'm 13 and I've been trying to do my own hair since I was 10 but this video is the video that really helped me the most!! Thank you so much ♥️
Wow I'm impressed ...Sending you love and blessing for your hair :)
Cantu smells great but flakes in my hair so bad. I had to give them up
Yes!! Cantu did nothing for me. Just made it dry...
Agreed the only product that works great for me is the leave in conditioner (repair cream)
Same, flakes and dryness 😪
Try applying it to wet hair. Also, warm it in the microwave for about 10 seconds! It makes such a BIG difference. I struggled with the flakes too lol so I know!
Most cantu products have alcohol in them.
Absolutely Beautiful!
I'm here for your pretty face, beautiful hair, and (most especially) your playlist, ngl. And you didn't disappoint😍
I’m going to try this with 2b/c(?? Idk) dry hair. So new to this hair journey. Sooo much information it’s paralyzing sometimes. This is the best video / suggestions Ives seen. Thank you so much for making great content! Be safe.
. How did it work for you? .
Wow... Your hair looks so juicy and hydrated... What a transformation. Thanks for the tips and info mama😊💕💕
This is so satisfying to watch. Thanks
Oh my! Her hair is gorgeous!
I love your hair!😍
😊Thank you!
My hair wants to be your hair when it grows up.
You and your hair are so beautiful sis! Your hair looks so shiny and well moisturized! I just tried your method and my hair looks and feels amazingly moisturized! Thank you so much. 😊
Love your videos. They are so enriching. Very helpful and I have learned quite a bit from your videos. Love the tutorials.
Mama your hair be beautiful!
I'm just here to say hi you look beautiful
Oh thank you😊 making me shy now!.... I look very tired in the video lmao 😂
I just love blank women and the confidence they found in natural hair makes them queens.
BEAUTIFUL💃 this video ROCKSSS...IM GONNA

I loved seeing you do your hair. The music omg I love, loved it. I had to go down load it. Now I need to find the words in English to know what it means.
@aquila smit hello, whats the name of the song pls!
I didn't know you were still on RUclips, I feel like i haven't seen you in years.
Wowwww talk about an on-point Viedo!❤️
Thank you!❤️ Your hair is gorgeous!
I love your hair and your Diva personality!😍 You GLOW Girl! Yessss!! And the music in the background is so smooth... very nice.🥰😍❣️💯
Thank you! I needed this video and it’s right on time. Relearning my hair again after my 4th big chop. My porosity has changed. Great video!
Glad to know that I already use this method 👌🏾
We stay winning sis! 💦
We love your energy so much !!! " Ama a diva, ama ama a diva " XD
Absolutely Gorgeous!!
I love this music too 🌸☀️♥️
Awesome tutorial, with beautiful results as usual. 👏🏾 I was wondering if we could use a hair steamer instead of the shower cap/plastic bag? 🧐
I recently learnt that my hair is low porosity so trying to binge on RUclips to figure out how to deal with the dryness I experience. So I came across your video and stayed when you mentioned Low porosity 🙃
As i watched i just said to myself, i like her, i should watch more of her videos then you mentioned fufu 🤗and i was hooked. ❤️ 🇬🇭
Pesi Noamesi Go to @sunnyindenbigh on IG and look into their products. All natural, moisturizing brand of products...read all of the reviews and I promise you will get excited. You will not find 1 negative review because everyone’s hair is growing, being moisturized, and scalp conditions are overcoming growth and hair retention. You’re welcome 😊
Mmm Empowered and inspired Laila-always love these simple steps to achieve super juicy bouncy hair!
Great job! 🤩
I'm going to use those steps next weekend when I wash my hair.💖
Thanks for making this video.😇😊
