    This guy's already thinking of flipping...whilst real enthusiasts are denied allocations

      Not gonna flip…. Car is staying in the fam for years even though we could flip it and make a quick $50k. It comes in December.

    Congrats man! Also big shoutout to you for fulfilling your step-dads dream. Good things happen to good people. I just put my downpayment for my gt3 allocation. Delivery in July. This is helpful to compare, the dealer markup on mine is 50k. It's all good though, I'm just happy to have the opportunity and will keep the car for a long time and enjoy it. Look forward to hearing more about your spec and delivery!

      So happy that you were able to secure you allocation for $50k over. You won’t regret it. The car is unbelievable and it makes it so special when you spec it from the ground up.
      If you look at my more recent videos you’ll the the collection and initial driver review. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment on the video here 🙏🏻👍🏻

    i started following you and this is my 3rd video dialed into your video. But I am actually trying to get a 992 GT3 allocation, luckily I know someone in Germany who is trying to purchasing for me as a favor. I did see your lastest one where you helped your friend go from a Toyota to a GT3 lol.

    I had an offer to pay 25k over to get an allocation but the dealer won’t tell me any time frame to get me an allocation. I felt like they will hold my money for years so I passed! It’s not extremely hard, you just have to be patient. My local dealer told me I will get you one before end of next year with out over paying until then I will just enjoy my 2020 gt500 which is an absolutely an brutal animal!

    • @MiamiMiles
      @MiamiMiles  3 года назад

      Yea that’s what they’ll do. I made my dealer give me the allocation number from Porsche before committing to the 35k. I’m happy that it will be the first round of allocations to arrive to the dealer.
      Regarding you getting one next year, you have a supercharged monster already. So I doubt that you’ll be unhappy in the meantime. That’s an amazing car

    • @MiamiMiles

      @@hbullock Ask what the timeline is for the car. All build slots have a projected delivery date. Ours is in December. If you can afford to waste the 25K, then I think you should do it as 25 is reasonable. The GT3 IMO is the best daily driver in the world for a car guy.

    • @hbullock
      @hbullock 2 года назад

      @@MiamiMiles Nah, they’re just offering me a reasonable chance of getting an allocation, if agree to the +$25k. As opposed to basically no chance without it.

    Congratulations, $35k over is steep but you may be fine. We’ll see how 2022 goes, expecting a nice dip in the market but who really knows.

    • @MiamiMiles
      @MiamiMiles  2 года назад

      Agreed. Right now it’s looking like a great success with all the upward pressures on price. Positive, the car has been delivered and is incredible. If the market dips next year at least we were able to enjoy the car and extract smiles from it 😀

  • @cbmerritt

    Paying 35k over is not amazing. Most people with allocations will pay msrp because they have a long history with their dealership.

    • @MiamiMiles
      @MiamiMiles  2 года назад

      I haven't seen this. Perhaps my dealers are no good?
      My experience has been...
      Only the top allocation at my dealer got it without a markup (Gaudin Porsche in Vegas). Everyone else had to pay. Same thing here in Miami at The Collection. A person who spent 15 Million at the dealer had to pay over sticker. Yes, you can call around and find a dealer that may give you one at MSRP, but you may never see the car. There are too many people with money that want the car and will pay $25K-$50K over without blinking twice to offer the cars to families who have bought a Macan or Panamera.
      Please let us know which dealers are fair like this. Thank you for your comment :)

      Search around enough from state to state...will require a little patience, but you could find another dealership charging 30K or slightly less over msrp for a GT3 allocation.....hope you enjoy the car when it arrives

      I just traded an 18 cayman gts for a 20 spyder chalk for 116k, 2k miles but they got me on trade, 67,500 a little under 70k minimum I wanted. They got it up for sale now for 77k, gas motorcars in Atlanta. I saw the gt4 rs at Daytona rolex24 I'm that new dark grey color, I still think chalk is the best color. I also see that the dealers are asking 350k for a gt4rs !!!! I hope you didn't pay that !
