Nice overall review. I recently bought a low mileage 991.2 manual with IPE exhaust and headers that I love! A friend of mine has a similar spec 992 as yours he recently picked up and was fortunate to acquire at msrp. Appreciate your honesty. I will take my car to the track as I always do. The street ability of the .2 is fine. I am coming from a 981 GT4 which I had 20k miles on both street and track. I’ll enjoy the .2 until the 994 or maybe a 992.2 if I can get it for msrp which would be near impossible I figure.
Sounds like you have been lucky enough to find some Porsche gems. Congrats on that! As for me, I do miss having my GT3 but just didn’t fit my life as it stands today. Great car though.
Couldn’t disagree more. Maybe you live in an area with really bad roads but I have NO issues with the ride. Stiffer than expected by 250%? It’s exactly as I’d expected. Done 2,000 miles so far and just love it.
@@weiterrocken You may want to visit Rennlist. It's way too stiff. The GT3 was always the road going version, and the GT3RS was the track car. I'm already working with a company in the UK to get 30% softer springs. It's a crap road car, and I live in northern Europe where the roads are pristine.
@@Leowavekid I guess you would hate the fact that I'm going to not only make my GT3T softer, I'm also going to put in sound deadening and rear seats. It will become what the GT3 should have been.
I have > 5000 miles in mine now, and let me tell you, it's the best long-distance drive I ever had. The bucket seats are perfect, and after a 500 mile drive you get out of the car as if nothing happened. And on the track it's a beast. Overall the perfect car IMO. I'll never sell mine, ever.
Did you read your owners manual? There is a page specifically for installing a child restraint (car seat) with the LWB’s. I have a 992 GT3 with LWB and use a Wayb Pico carseat, there is a procedure to make sure the passenger airbag deactivates.
Thanks for the note re:boost seats for kids!!! Never even considered that, and haven't seen anyone else bring that up. Very useful tip for me and I am on the fence about seats.
Can I just comment on the Center lock thing. It's not a problem really. All you need is a 3/4" torque wrench that goes to 440 lb-ft and a 3/4" breaker bar. The "procedure" is simple. Torque to 440 lb-ft. back off a 1/4 turn and re-torque. That's not hard to remember or do. When loosening, put a jack under the car and lift it maybe 1/4" to take a bit of load off. Then loosen the wheel 1/3 of a turn. Then it's pretty easy to loosen when lifted. Just place a block to keep the wheel from turning if you don't have an expansion clamp.
Don’t forget the specified lithium grease before tightening! And all 4 wheels need to be in the air when loosening. My point is to say, they are more of a gimmick then anything else. I mean, they aren’t practical on or off the track. Cool? Sure. But actual race cars with center lugs have a much different system that is designed for machine tightening. They can be spun on and off very quickly to say time. The GT3/GTS center locks are not faster. So what are they for? Again, cool but this isn’t that.
@@PointShiftDrive The grease needed is just Castrol Optimol TA aluminium paste, not lithium. Keep it with the toolkit. At all the RSR events I have attended Porsche techs have been loosening and fastening center locks without the car being fully off the ground etc. And according both my local and other Porsche techs I've spoken to, there's no need for all four wheels to be off if all you do is loosening the nut. I've owned four Porsches with center locks and never had any issues. I actually reckon that I can get a wheel off and on faster with those than I can on one of my cars with five lug bolts.
@@PointShiftDrive I do tend to agree that they may not be as practical in some cases, but what are they for? They are safer on track and require less attention between sessions than lug bolts. They make a lot of sense on a car that is intended to see the occasional track day. Many of these cars leave you stranded if you get a puncture. I'm no better off in my Pista than I would be in my Touring if I get a flat.
@@AB-80X I’m glad you like them. I stand by my statement that these simply are more of a gimmick then a necessity. However they are great. As for functionality, what a Porsche mechanic says to you and what Porsche (the company) will warranty are not the same. In other words, you can I stall them and remove them however you want. You can have all the vocalized advice from anyone you choose. But if something goes wrong, Porsche might find your methods not in accordance to the recommended procedure and thus not warranty it. Either way, these are more work than simple lugs we all know and love. Less work and easier to deal with. But to each their own opinion.
@@AB-80X “safer” maybe. But only if you install and remove them as Porsche recommends. Period. Other than that, every track car in the world that has lugs is perfectly safe as long as they just have a torque wrench and check their lugs between sessions to make sure they are still tight to spec. I’d 1000% prefer to have a simple floor Jack and torque wrench at the track then have to worry about lifting all 4 wheels off the ground and not to mention carrying that super long breaker and torque spec wrench. Not to mention a spare set of center lug wheels is waaaaay more pricey. So again, not practical. Not saying they aren’t neat or cool. They just aren’t needed. Remember that plenty of super cars still use lugs for a reason. Safety isn’t the why.
He obviously bought it to flip it and make money. He knew he had children before he ordered the car. I am sure he researched all about the car before and everyone says to order front axle lift and Bose system at minimum. Bucket seats look great but are way overrated. Everyone raves about them but I think it is like telling everyone that a size 9 shoe will fit anyone which makes no sense. Good on him that he will make money, unfortunate for someone on the list who really wanted one for themselves.
I did have FAL. Also I didn’t really make money. Unless $5k is considered huge profit. I would never buy a car with the intention of selling it right after I finally get it. This was a tough decision for me. I am just being honest about my experience with the car. If that bothers you or anyone else, you don’t have to watch the video. At the end of the day, I love Porsche. And given this was a hero car to me, it was painful to sell it but it was the right move for me at this time.
Just broke 15K daily miles in mine. Absolutely the coolest thing I've ever owned - every drive to the gym, grocery store or the office is a dramatic and epic saga. I couldn't be happier - and the standard BOSE system is fine to me…I'm curious to hear what a good sound system is if this one is the worst youve *ever* heard!
The Bose system isn’t bad. It isn’t good either though. The really bad and probably the worst system I’ve heard is actually the Porsche 911 system if you don’t check the Bose box. It’s so bad you can’t even comprehend it.
@@PointShiftDrive I'm shocked at that…I'd always assumed the 911 was the luxury version of the GT3 and the comfort / audio would follow suit. Love the content!
Hands down the best straight out of factory color for the 992 Gt3. Looks like a darker version of Yas Marina blue from BMW but looks lighter in different lighting
Love the video. It was very helpful, i am currently in the process of trying to get a 911 992 GT3, the car is so hard to get an allocation for, some people just give up and buy top dollar for one at the dealership. All the ones I see online are selling at $269,990, knowing that you have much experience in the car game, how much would you put down on a $269,990 car and do you think the 992 GT3 is a good investment and resale value?
its really not as hard riding or hardcore as you made out. its firm but controlled. lots of other cars eg bmw are softer but not controlled eg scuttle shake. its a sports car so i wouldn’t expect anything less. personally i love it and wouldn’t change it
@@PointShiftDrive hey man, i’m in the market for my third 911, I have a 2021 C2 now and was waiting on a 2019 GT3 to grab but the prices are still way too high. I found out yesterday that one of my deposits just turned into a 2023 GTS Coupe allocation! Watching your videos really helped guide me towards the GTS and to be comfortable without going with my dream car (GT3) - I do have a question for you, what do you think about the lightweight package and the bucket seats on the GTS? I’m 230 lbs 38in waist and I think the bucket seats are just going to be a nightmare. It’s not a daily driver but I’m not sure I can commit to the bucket seats. What are your thoughts? I have a bout a month to make a decision.
@@ApexGT1 im about the same dimensions as you. The LWBs are actually really nice even for our size. I think you would really like them. My only issue is that I think the GTS is better off as a daily and those seats lean more towards track. but its personal preference. have you watched my GTS video yet? ruclips.net/video/C5DesPea6kU/видео.html
Appreciate the open mind about the car and I respect your final decision. Consider a UTV? The CanAm X3 has 2 feet of smooth travel, definitely quick and fun for the family. My Yamaha YXZ000R is the most exciting thing I've ever driven. 911's, M5, C6 vette, Cobra and high boost AWD drive cars are some and the YXZ all the way.
Good review. Think this is an accurate depiction of the pros and cons of owning a track-focused car. Definitely agree not a great daily driver--the buckets are not practical for everyday duty (hard to get in and out of) and the suspension is very stiff. There's a reason why the lap times are so good, there has to be a compromise.
This is one of the best cars ever made. It beats Ferraris and Lamborghinis in the GT class and makes them look slow. Waitlist is too much for most people to even have the opportunity to buy this amazing car. The stiffness you feel is the incredible double wishbone suspension. This car turns like a F1 car XD. With a 9,000 optimal shift range similar to a Lexus LFA!!! Man this car really is the best. Also Shark Blue looks amazing.
Pretty crazy the stiffness exaggeration. I have one and am trying to understand. Firm but not at all harsh is what he car is. What car did you drive before? A 60s Cadillac???
Yeah I exaggerated some. No doubt. But it isn’t a car that you could drive just anywhere in the Bay Area without thought. And for sure not a daily. But glad you love your car. It’s a special ride 100%. I wish to get one down the road again.
Just how it worked out. The good news is, In a year I can buy a GT3 probably at MSRP. But either way, I have a new GTS coming in April which should fit my life better for now.
Awesome video! You literally tackled every reservation I had about buying a GT3. I was lucky enough to get an allocation from my dealer but I opted for a GTS as well. Which is inbound in August. Aside from color I spec’d mine similar to yours. I also have a 5 year old who is a car nut and that’s what made me make the decision to go with the GTS over the GT3. Thanks for the video 🙏🏾
Looking forward to the delivery of my 992 GT3 in Feb 2022 in Switzerland. It took me 6 months to get the quote from Porsche and another 6 months to receive the confirmation on prod/del.
Niko, Beautiful car and i understand your predicament. 2 years ago when i got a 911 i wanted a GT3 but the fact that i can't take out my twins, now 10, was a deal breaker and picked the Turbo for this reason only. The GT3 is the better looking car and my choice but the Turbo is just as fun and i love it although i don't drive it as much as i should, maybe time to sell, but i just love looking at it every time i got to my other cars. Enjoy while you got it. I guess as we get older our priorities shift a little
Thanks Niko! I am still excited though. I have a GTS in order for May delivery. I think that’s the valence between the GT3 and the Turbo. Should be the better choice for me right now.
After 30 yrs of owning & driving hundreds of thousands of miles in special 911’s, I have settled into my favorite street / B road / Mtn Twisty model, & it is a 997.2 GT3. So I can appreciate that you feel this 992 Gt3 is 75% track, & therefore NOT good for you on the typical docile roads you drive. A GTS is going to be a MUCH better car for you. In the end, it ALL depends on what you have driven in the past, & what type of driving you do now. That is not the car for you.
Good review, but obviously very personal. I don’t believe any of us ( gt3 owners ) can reliably advise other wannabe owners on specking a car. I have read so many rennlist comments and listened to many RUclips reviews. Having owned a 997c2smt, then a 991.1gt3 followed by a 991.2gt3mt and now a 992gt3 pdk I can tell you there are many similarities as well as differences. I have enjoyed all and might remind all that the 997c2s even at 355hp was fast and had a terrific sound at higher revs. I personally find the suspension in the 992 quite comfortable even though all my gt3’s have been track cars mainly. It’s a no brainer getting sport seats if you have kids, but would still suggest not putting them in front seats anyway. I sold my 1998 Bo tee just for that reason. Then a little later got the 997 so I could use the back seats for my kid and feel a lot safer. Interestingly I was broad sided in the 997 without a kid in it and noticed the back seat area was completely intact. The offending car hit just behind me and I was not injured fortunately. I will add that with each upgrade in the gt3 the car is better, this last change too the 992 being considerably more so than from the 991.1 to the 991.2.
Hey nick what state are you in? I’m in Florida and weather and roads are both good…I have a GT3 allotment coming in February this would be a third car just for fun no kids ect.. have a turbo s 2022 in the garage…is it more of the same or would it fit the bill for a funzy on those perfect days or would you go Panamera turbo s or m8 competition gran coupe both more useable?
I live in the bay area California. our roads are hit or miss. I can tell you that none of your current cars will feel like the GT3. its a totally different world. BUT if you get it, you will really have fun driving it fast. that is where the suspension starts to make sense. slow cruises are much more enjoyable in your Turbo. Save the GT3 for the occasional track day
@@PointShiftDrive It may take a year to get it over the 950 mile break in perhaps I should buy it to resell later on in the year at my Porsche dealership ( they are not marking new cars up the sticker price on the configurator was 203k makes it a little easier to justify… what do you think about that m8 gran coupe?
@@jderush1647 I think all dealers can see that this “markup” mentality can’t last forever. At some point people will just refuse to pay 20-30% on a Macan or 40% on GT4RS. It’s not market adjustment as much as it is dealers taking advantage of people. How do you know? 918 customers get cars at MSRP for life.
Did you not consider an inflatable booster for your 4 year old? Could use that with a 5 pt race harness. Then your daughter can grow into it in a few years. But I get it, I have a Turbo S inbound in a few months and not a GT product because I want kids back seats.
There are options. However none of those are sanctioned by Porsche. Not to mention you need to also program out the airbag. And I don’t feel like gambling with my kids life if something were to happen.
People are sheep. They consider themselves "real" enthusiasts" because they think an oversprung and stiff suspension makes you a real drivers driver. Unfortunately they fail to realize how much slower their car is on the road compared to what it would be if it was softer.
@@upopmusic5660 I did not buy my Touring for the track. The GT3 was always a great road car that did well on track. The RS is the road legal track car.
@@upopmusic5660 I think you nerd to do your homework a bit better. The 992 Touring is a GT3. The differences are cosmetic. True that the full name is the GT3 Touring, but it is commonly referred to as simply the Touring. Porsche offers no other car called Touring.
Your wrong re the brake compound changing. The brake pd compound was changed due to US regs changing on how much copper is allowed to be used in pads. Has nothing to do with the noise.
Yo dude I totally get it I just built a GT3 PTS and British racing green I suspected myself it is awesome. I become disabled my right hand does not function I do not believe I won't be able to enjoy the car. Sucks I've been looking forward to this more than anything over the last six months and then my life. I cannot blame the dealer even though he was greedy and took 100,000 over sticker. But for the same reasons I must sell the car I guess I hate to even say it myself. Don't worry about it you have kids I don't. Nice video I get you hang in there
I know you mentioned that complaining about child seats in a GT3 isn't the most sensible thing to do, but let me put it another way... ...this was like someone saying their truck isn't putting in a decent time at their local track 😂 You are way off the mark here! Just stick with a GTS or a turbo - highly likely the kids would love either one of those as well. Also consider the new M3 if you can get over the monstrosity that is the front end. In fact, I think the M3 would be perfect for how you've described your life right now. Finally, please consider shorter videos either by way of better editing or just by rambling less. lol
Could not agree more! This was 38 minutes of N.O.T.H.I.N.G.! I kept fast-forwarding thinking there would be some action shots, but nope. Sounds like this guy should have bought an RS6!
Why would you buy a GT3 to take your kids in? Most negative review I’ve ever read with no balanced view. Seriously the comments about punctures? All cars are the same nowadays pretty much! Buy to flip merchant !!! Can’t wait to get mine in July 😎
I think you will see that I was more honest than most about what the car is and isnt. and no, I didnt buy to flip. and no I didnt make any money off it. after taxes etc, it wasnt for $. But at the end of the day, I do think its a great car. just not the right car for me in my current life phase. enjoy your car
Great review. I would guess you purchased a BMW M3 because you said several times you wanted to take your kids with you to ride around in your car. I considered the M3, but since I don't have small children, I purchased a 2022 BMW G82 M4 comp Brooklyn Grey. It's the perfect car for the weekend. (Not a daily driven).

@@PointShiftDrive Thanks for the reply. You can now delete the lowered suspension on the GTS in UK. @@davidowen2859 I wouldnt swap out the GTS suspension. The GTS is a different animal. I think the suspension is designed to be a all around performance car. Swapping to the base suspension I would think does effect its value in the long run. just my $.02
i don’t get it.. i‘m using mine as a daily car and enjoying it every single day.. You just have to be aware that you are driving a GT3. But that is exactly what you wanted... with all the advantages and disadvantages. If you are too soft, it is too hard. That is life, so don't complain.
I had one of the first deliveries for the 992 GT3. No one knew for sure how stiff it would be. Considering the last GT3 was more streetable, It wasn’t clear what the 992 would be. That being said, it’s not a daily driver. But it’s highly dependent on your roads.
Didn't you have a chance to drive one first? Perhaps Porsche experience or another owner? Tgats a lot of money to gamble its your best fit. Sounds like a gts would better suit your taste.
lol test drive? This was one of the first deliveries on the west coast. So no. I had 1 hour decide if I want the allocation. If you try and buy a high end Porsche, you will have a better appreciation for my gamble ;)
@PointShiftDrivsubscribed. Didn't realize no one in your club or at Porsche Experience had one. I drive a 2019 991.2 4 gts. I personally wouldn't take the gamble without a drive in a new model--especially at that price, but in your case given the market, it worked out well to say the least. Glad you're happy in your gts. I enjoy your vids and have sunscribed.
So you're a flipper!!! That is why Porsche are very selective....not in this case unfortunately. What a shame, annoying and disgusting. It is a GT product, so maybe get a GTS or a M3comp in future and not stop an enthusiast from getting his allocation.
No. I am not a flipper. I didn’t make money on this transaction. Not really. And I sure as hell didn’t do it for the money. I think you totally missed the point of what I said in my video. Right car. Wrong time. Thanks for watching
@@PointShiftDrive I didn’t mean you. I was replying to his comment. This is the first unbiased review I’ve seen and honestly it’s about time. Everyone gloryfying it and making it seem as Porsche reinvented the wheel. It’s an incremental upgrade double wishbone and all. No one’s seeing the benefits on the street. Sure the interior is up to date. But that doesn’t warrant 150k plus over the old car. 20-30k more sure, but even for myself who has a .2 I didn’t go for the 992 even with a 30k adm. same engine. The lovely interior and aggressive looks on the street are not worth 30k for me. Everyone’s different. Gimme a 4.2 and I’ll be all in.
Thought you covered it well… pros and cons…. Beautiful Car… but certainly a third or 4th car… the roads where I live would destroy this car in a matter of seconds….. I’m looking for the car that I wish I could always afford in the past… now that I have had some success…the demand and prices are insane…these day’s… it certainly wouldn’t be a daily driver but I think there are better options since I would probably hardly ever take it to the track…. Thanks for your honesty and insight.. always loved the 911 body style but not practical in this model at least.. earlier touring version maybe? Still looking
Such a transparent review. Another car flipper who buys and sells cars quickly so they can have a RUclips channel. It is painfully obvious this is not a car you have owned long enough if at all. All opinions are subjective of course but some of the points made are don't make sense.
I am not a car flipper. I have lost more money on selling cars than I care to count. But if my review bothers you so much that you have to criticize me for having a YT channel, then id have to ask would you rather I lie just to make owners like you feel like their resale value stays intact?
The suspension is great on track or on smooth surfaces. If you want to drive you GT3 through San Francisco and tell me it’s great, I’d love to see that. The point isn’t anything bad about the car. It just wasn’t the right choice for me in that moment in time. I guess you missed the point because you were wearing your red googles.
Really good and down to Earth review, I agree with some and disagree with some points, we all different. I got 718 Spyder slightly (10mm) lowered and also stiff, got 7k mi on it in 1.5 years , just got 992 and was able to do 1400mi on winter tires before weather stop me . Gt3 is , as you mentioned, very busy , you have to hold wheel both hands all the time, clutch is definitely different from Spyder , but totally livable . Ride is firm , but not punishing (to my feel) . I personally did not expected this GT3 to be so close to GT3RS , that being said, definitely not daily car and mostly solo car for pleasure . I do not have Bose , base radio is fine , car is so noisy inside Apple headphones will be way to go. No lift , never need it , just have to be careful. It was my dream car for years and after I got it , I am super happy. Kept Spyder for driver with wife (she absolutely hate GT3) I totally understand your situation with kids and you must spend time with them in the car , specially if they like it!!!!
Firstly thanks for watching. Secondly, I appreciate your pov. A lot of GT ownership is subjective for sure. However I do want a GT3 back in my life soon. Hoping I can get one at MSRP in a year or so. In the meantime I am excited for my upcoming 992 GTS

I’m glad you enjoyed the video. As for the 992 GT3. It’s a great car. But it is a tool for a job. I think there are lots of RUclipsrs saying extremely great things about the car but not being totally honest. It’s not for everyone and certainly not an only car. It sounds like you are asking me if it’s worth buying into the car at $270k. My answer is no. These cars are depreciating now, especially with the car market turning right side up again. I’d wait a little longer before buying a used one. The key indicator is that the 992.2 is about to come out which will effect dot1 values. Also the 991.2 GT3 values are also falling which suggests the 992.1 will follow. At this point in time, I would steer clear of ADM on allocations for a dot1 GT3 and just wait for the right used car to come along OR spend the extra ADM for a 992.2 GT3. Also, no. At this point in time these cars are not good investments. Unless you are planning on keeping it for 15-25 years, you won’t really see a profit. You might get over MSRP but consider what the car costs to maintain, you would still be underwater over the course of ownership. The only cars that are investments would be the super rare special editions. However it would only work if you bought one and never drove it. So what’s the point?
Nice overall review. I recently bought a low mileage 991.2 manual with IPE exhaust and headers that I love! A friend of mine has a similar spec 992 as yours he recently picked up and was fortunate to acquire at msrp. Appreciate your honesty. I will take my car to the track as I always do. The street ability of the .2 is fine. I am coming from a 981 GT4 which I had 20k miles on both street and track.
Waiting for reviews of UHT 2025 Touring.. Allegedly they worked on the suspension for a year yesterday on bad roads in Italy
stay tuned.
you could change the seats, suspension, tires & install the lifting system for the front axle
All the ones I see online are selling at $269,990, knowing that you have much experience in the car game, how much would you put down on a $269,990 car and do you think the 992 GT3 is a good investment and resale value?
its really not as hard riding or hardcore as you made out. its firm but controlled. lots of other cars eg bmw are softer but not controlled eg scuttle shake. its a sports car so i wouldn’t expect anything less. personally i love it and wouldn’t change it
Hard and controlled are good ways of explaining it. I think it’s not as daily drivable as others have suggest however.
Good video, but i completely disagree about the (extreme)stiffness. I have touring with Pirelli tyres, don't know if that makes a difference?
I think the roads matter more then the tires... however many have reported that the PZeros are much more roadable than the Cup2s.
@@PointShiftDrive I guess I can report the same. I didn’t really like the cup 2’s on my m4 comp either😊
Great review! Happy I found you!

Thanks for showing us the practical side of owning this car.
Feels like I am the only reviewer that did that. It’s just a tool for a job. Not a daily driver.
I decided that a 992 GTS is probably a better car for me to live with. Delivery in May
Good review.
Having owned models from both brands. This 110% beats Ferrari in build quality, drivability, reliability and safety.
The brake compounds were changed for 2025 copper regulations. Same thing happened to PCCB
I don't know what you expected. It's a track car, but still tolerable for street driving. My friend has been dailying his
No. The GT3 was never a track car. The RS is the track car.
@@AB-80X the RS is the ultimate track car (aerokit), the GT3 is a track car that can be used on street (but still made for hotlaps)
Selling the car before it’s even broken in and not experiencing full revs?
Just how it worked out. The good news is,
In a year I can buy a GT3 probably at MSRP. But either way, I have a new GTS coming in April which should fit my life better for now.
@@PointShiftDrivehey whatsup how much buyers history did you have before being able to buy this car?
Awesome video! You literally tackled every reservation I had about buying a GT3. I was lucky enough to get an allocation from my dealer but I opted for a GTS as well. Which is inbound in August. Aside from color I spec’d mine similar to yours. I also have a 5 year old who is a car nut and that’s what made me make the decision to go with the GTS over the GT3. Thanks for the video 🙏🏾
Glad you got some value out of it! cheers!
Looking forward to the delivery of my 992 GT3 in Feb 2022 in Switzerland. It took me 6 months to get the quote from Porsche and another 6 months to receive the confirmation on prod/del.
The allocation situation with Porsche right now is insane. Congrats to you and enjoy your upcoming beautiful ride
Can confirm: Shark Blue in person is not what you see in online images. It has a quality difficult to describe; you can _feel_ the color.
You cannot compare the 997 GT3 and this. Your 997 GT3 is as soft as a 992 GTS if not softer.
Thanks for your POV. I think this is an amazing car and it pains me to have it gone. but I am getting a 992 GTS in April which will help
@@PointShiftDrive based on this review, I think you'll be really happy with the GTS.

It may take a year to get it over the 950 mile break in perhaps I should buy it to resell later on in the year at my Porsche dealership ( they are not marking new cars up the sticker price on the configurator was 203k makes it a little easier to justify… what do you think about that m8 gran coupe?
What’s the ground clearance
its very low... I didnt have any problems driving around but if you didnt spec FAL, you will scrap the front on driveways
Great review really appreciate the honesty. All you ever hear is how the GT3 is the best thing on earth
People are sheep. They consider themselves "real" enthusiasts" because they think an oversprung and stiff suspension makes you a real drivers driver. Unfortunately they fail to realize how much slower their car is on the road compared to what it would be if it was softer.
@@AB-80X you don’t buy that for road but for track ?

I think you nerd to do your homework a bit better. The 992 Touring is a GT3. The differences are cosmetic. True that the full name is the GT3 Touring, but it is commonly referred to as simply the Touring. Porsche offers no other car called Touring.
Good content !
Your wrong re the brake compound changing. The brake pd compound was changed due to US regs changing on how much copper is allowed to be used in pads. Has nothing to do with the noise.
Good to know. either way, it is different.
Nice video I get you hang in there
I know you mentioned that complaining about child seats in a GT3 isn't the most sensible thing to do, but let me put it another way...
...this was like someone saying their truck isn't putting in a decent time at their local track 😂
You are way off the mark here! Just stick with a GTS or a turbo - highly likely the kids would love either one of those as well.
Also consider the new M3 if you can get over the monstrosity that is the front end. In fact, I think the M3 would be perfect for how you've described your life right now.
Finally, please consider shorter videos either by way of better editing or just by rambling less. lol

20-30k more sure, but even for myself who has a .2 I didn’t go for the 992 even with a 30k adm. same engine. The lovely interior and aggressive looks on the street are not worth 30k for me. Everyone’s different. Gimme a 4.2 and I’ll be all in.

Oh man, that sound, that wonderful sound. It’s just intoxicating.
It’s a beautiful noise. I miss it in my life.
