Dude, you have the locomotive blueprint. It's a shite battleshipbluerprint worth several hundred thousand that you never will use. You never looked at it fore some reason. Selling the alpha core was avoidable. Having said that. Beating a starlight cabal fleet was epic. I was sure you were toast. Really good flying. Maybe you should pilot a stronger phase ship like a harbringer or a Doom :)
Here's a tip: storing stuff on other faction's colonies costs money! (you can check in "Command' menu, under 'Income' tab) It's 1% of the value of the stuff stored, seems not much, but if you're a hoarder, it adds up QUICK. I'd suggest moving your stash to one of the abandoned stations in the Core Worlds - there is one in Corvus (orbiting Asharu, Indepedents), one in Yma (orbiting Chupi Orco, with Persean colony Salamanca nearby) and one in Mayasura (orbits Mairaath, also a Persean colony).
Your fuel mod for the game makes doing bounties to earn money kind of tough, but your fleet is pretty strong. You should be able take 60k bounties, especially with your phase frigate. You did leave that last battle in a panic and didn't recover that wolf you lost, the light blue box in the ship salvage screen indicates it's one of yours. It'll probably have picked up a D mod, but still might have been worth keeping.
Huh, around 33:20, when you opened that second window to check for AI core prices, the rest of the video became dark and desaturated for some reason Also, you typically CAN dock with stations currently undergoing battle, as well as even after they require repairs following a defeat in ship battle. You just have to watch out for the transponder ID that comes back from that attacking fleet to make sure that their stragglers don't hunt you down
@@apex1757 I'm basically a beginner, I'd say there are a few traps you can end up in, taking big fights too early or running out of fuel/supplies/cash but it's not too bad. You can just die out of nowhere if you get unlucky.
@@apex1757 The usual recommendation is that you finish a completely base game playthrough - generally done until you have a few successful colonies - and then introduce 4X elements through the Nexerelin mod for a sort of "Vanilla+" second or third playthrough. Afterwards, you might have enough familiarity with the core mechanics to push the envelope with other content mods.

seconding the doom suggestion. the phase frigate is suicidal in larger battles but the doom can pop battleships all day.

Brilliant tip. I only learned this myself recently
Yeah this seems big, Phros is gonna need a lot of storage space and needing to pay for it until we've got our own colony is unneeded extra overhead.
Yeah the ship hulls are probably the main thing. Or the alpha core if that’s in paid storage
Great to see some starsector content!
Clutch battles. Great series so far.

@@tylerphuoc2653 that's... Really weird. I have no idea what caused that. Great catch. I'll look out for this next time I process a recording
Survey missions are good for money. You need a good tanker and enough hmachinery though. Also look at solar shielding.
41:15 Deployment points act as a cap as to how many ships(and of what type) you can have in combat concurrently
Gotta spend things NOW sometimes to make more LATER. can't take out loans.. so just acquire another later.
[|87 Hmm interesting I'm very curious about star sector, but I don't know if I should buy it or not.
How difficult is Starsector to get into for a beginner? It looks really fun

@@PhrosphorI'm very much considering buying the game, especially since there's so little (recent) RUclips content on it. Loving the series so far.

The game is not that hard on begginers, the learning curve is actually over the user interface, just Buy the Game and jump into space
@@apex1757 Stick to base game first. Starsector is big
