I didn’t say you needed to meditate to figure it out, I said that many do and if you’re stuck on where to begin finding out it could be a good place to start. And no I didn’t say it’s the same. I said in some cases it could be a similar experience of feeling you’re in the wrong body if you’re the type of otherkin that wasn’t meant to be human in this life. I likened the two (though I know it’s a kinda controversial take, I am non binary so I kinda understand the feeling well- the dysphoria -THATS THE WORD I WAS LOOKING FOR GODDAMNIT!) but I specifically said I know they’re not the same.
I did say that past lives are just one of the ways, I’m sure. For fantasy creatures it still works. These creatures exist, just not in the 3D realm. You would have had a life in another realm :) or perhaps you’re a hatchling dragon spirit experiencing a human life to gain wisdom and information before you hatch into your dragon body in that other realm. That’s down for you to decipher.

I'm more of a psychological Otherkin than a spiritual and I wouldn't quite call myself a spiritual person in general, but learning about some spiritual explanations onto why Otherkin exist is interesting aswell and that's a question that bothered me for a while now.
