Mate I understood why you got the problem on the AC light not running (which is as the same as me). It is about the firmare. You need to update it to the latest upgrade 2.34.76 Marc, 16th 2022. Actually with the firmware 2.34.07 oct, 6th 2020 first issue solved is: --- Fixed HVAC lighting ---. This company releases a lot of updates. Great for hardware and great for software:)! Good choice indeed

Do you need a specific software or something to get things done properly? And is there a way to change the boot image when it start's up the dashboard? Thanks a lot!
Great look into your lovely exige. I've been saving up for years to get one. I love all the little extra touches you've added! I know this dash has a GPS for the tracks, but can it be used as a satnav? That would be great if it could!

Not really, the one in the FE cars uses the same hardwear but with different software and reduced functionality. I'm not sure if it's compatible with the reversing camera.
It is 100 percent the same dashboard. But this is not the lotus approved/provided one. Because on default the lotus aim dash will start up with the lotus emblem on the screen. But you can also change this emblem to whatever you want. But i would reckon an official lotus dealer won't change the lotus emblem for the aim emblem.
I am considering to get a AIM. but I'm afraid that it would a waste of money currently I can only see half of my original speedo meter. May I ask how tall are u?
My reverse camera comes on when I put the car in reverse (I don’t use my AIM dash for it, I use my stereo head unit display - but assume it’s the same). My reverse camera picks up power from the reverse light.

It knocks out the HVAC lights, this has been an ongoing issue. It may have been fixed in a firmware update.

Did you not rev it, because that would expose how slow the display's refresh rate is?
Nice car and I do like the new dash, it's just in 2021 I'd expect a shaped LCD that fills the whole dash area and also far more customization.

The camera I have installed is the AIM one and only connects to the dash so there are no other set up options available.
