I purchased my (silver) VX220 8 months ago and it's sat in my garage since the week I bought it. There is something wrong with me but after watching your video it's have me the kick I need to take it out a spin😄😄. Thanks very much. Ps. Yours is beautiful some very nice touches!
Hi, not sure what you mean about the tweeters but just to clarrify in my opinion there is no point going to all the effort to fit a speaker system that uses different drivers for different frequency response in this type of open top car. A good set of coaxial speakers matched with a good sub will give you all the noise, bass and trebble that you will need.
@@PodpadStudios yep , and your wrong you may not feel its worth the effort , or the cost , but there certainly is a point to it ,,, heres the clue as to why it is ,,, your ears point forwards .
Back in 2006, I had to deliver the rear half a VX220 to a place in Portsmouth. It was literally, the rear half. Cut in half at the door pillars. Engine, body panels, all complete. just cut in half. The bloke I delivered it to was expecting a whole car.
Please take a look 👀👀 at our VX220 playlist - for more details of all the juicy mods that Master Maker has made to 'Ally' the Vaulhall VX220. Everything at Podpadstudios has a name, yes we know its sad, but that's the way we rock. ruclips.net/p/PLr65de2xUB5PT1-Y7yWt2mnDlLArRqg8_
Great video dude, really interesting walk around - know many from the VX220 owners group follow you're videos. Have you consider selling some of these items? As VX220/Lotus people love bespoke community made items. Would love a set of those triangle aluminium sill inserts! Let me know if you'd consider it? (a fellow silver tubby owner)
Hi there, @AK88oncars thanks for your comment. I tend to just make stuff for my own car, as for my day job I spend loads of time making bespoke stuff for other people - take a look at the other videos on our channel...
