  • Yes yes yes, I'm still going through my huge backlog of videos and trying to clear the backlog before my new car arrives (doubt that is going to happen!).
So for this video we're tackling the age old issue of installing a reversing camera into a rather difficult to see out of sports car. Luckily this is all made a lot easier by having the AiM MX2E digital dash already which has a plug for the reversing camera.
I decided to buy the wireless kit from Elise Shop as I didn't want to route a long and heavy cable all the way from the back of the car to the front of the car.

You may be able to buy these a lot cheaper from eBay or Aliexpress but the Elise Shop option is all ready to go with the right connector and everything.

Thank you very much. I will get my AIM in two weeks and will try to add this wireless system too

You'll get better image quality if you installed a wired connection instead of the wireless link.

Yes I think so as well, the wireless is just really easy, don't have to worry about routing the cable

Hey there Luey, I was just wondering if you ever said how much you bought the car for, I saw it come up both time on trade me and have wondered how much it went for in the end. Would love to know Thanks.

Yes so I'm actually going to do a video soon about this once my new car arrives to explain to people how I actually managed to afford it. That's where I will detail how much each of my cars cost me. Short version the Exige cost me $47K to buy, I spent roughly $10K excluding my own labour to get it where I wanted it to be and I sold it for slightly more than the $57K I had put in.
