i ain't the most photogenic person.. but would love for an AI touch up that doesn't make me look like a cartoon. just fix any little quirks... anything like that? basically a beautification filter of some sort that also brightens the image and makes a lil more comfortable to enlarge the webcam area instead of a small box in the corner.
Oh darn, they don't have this for Android yet. Guess I'll have to wait to try it out. I've been using iVCam for this purpose but have been wondering if there was something better with a similar price point.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't get the phone and the computer to connect to each other. Is it because I don't have Elgato stuff on my phone? Or because I'm not using an Elgato webcam? Or is it something else that I'm simply not understanding?
You have to have the EpocCam installed on your phone. I show that at the beginning of the video.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr I do have it installed. I followed along with the video as best as I could. Once it opens up the camera itself, it keeps trying to connect to the computer but to no effect for some reason.
@@Xani13 only works when it wants to sadly. Since last update my pc and app won’t connect either
@@DocsGames Yeah. The computer app just sits there waiting while the phone app just sits saying "Connecting to your computer" while showing a tiny 4x3 window on my phone while the PC app does nothing.

after looking at Reddit because there are no real solutions anywhere else. USB-A to lightning is required for a wired connection but a Wi-Fi connection requires iTunes and some Bonjour service.. but Itunes has been outdated with 3 separate apps for Windows. I could get my older iPad to connect via wifi but I could not get my iPhone 14 pro max to connect. The cam did not stay connected for long and the moment I tried to get it added to OBS it didn't stay connected. I have not found a solution yet.
further testing. my ipad would work but its camera is not great. my phone would still not connect... another video you did on VDO Ninja was a better option for me since it would actually work with my phone. I may still use this as a secondary cam with my iPad.
If you use iphone as a camera for obs, does some notifications or a phone call will be interrupt the camera that being use? Thanks in advance?

Just bought the EpocCam Pro version, but to my disappointment I dont seem to have the backgrounds tab shown in the 9:05 minute in this video. Reason for buying was kind of having this option. THis vid is a year old. As soon as an app starts to get popular they start charging . It won’t work it seems without then PC so I want exclusively mobile . We have technologies way too advanced to not render what we want on mobile for everything because all they are is many computers .
Sigh...stilll in the hunt for a camera filter to use when going live and also recording video from mobile . Girls lie and use them jeden kknd of apps because they’re beautification apps in a way .tried many and didn t like .

I have multiple videos on that. Take a look at the prism videos you can add your phone as a webcam in there. There is also VDO ninja and others. all are in videos here.

And now the story again but for Android and Linux... nothing? Then the title is little bit misleading. This is no free face changer in OBS cos it is not possible to use it in lunux at all.
You should add to your title that this is NOT for ANDROID
