I dont have the reacer, but I have the ceberus, and absolutely love it. first one I haven't modded out, and could highly recommend. mine I had to adjust the truss rod a little bit, but that's about it. they seem to be vary well made guitars. you should definitely if your on the fence about it.
I have 3 Westcreeks. The Yellow Racer, Matte Black Racer and their Semi Hollow. Like em all. The Yellow is GOOD, like ALL around. Matte black wasn't as good, BUT I LIKE IT. I changed the pickups and added locking tuners. The low humidity this winter backbowed the Matte Black's neck. Easy fix.The other guitars in the same room were fine, including the other 2 Westcreeks. Overall, for the Price, I like em all.
I picked up a westcreek revenge a while back, it's pretty damn impressive. It's an Explorer type body style in a really nice army green. I'm happy with it!

Pickups in the Yellow Racer were better than the Matte Black. I swapped them out with a Dimebag and Alnico (neck). Which turned out to be a Good off ballance ballance. Knock ya off that stool. The Yellow pickups I left, not because its my kids, but because It just sounded better. Also, the drop in humidity, due to the winter months, in the guitar room (need a bigger humidifier) caused the Matte Black Racer and a Leo James (USA) Neck to backbow to the point they were unplayable. There are 8 other guitars in the room including A Gibson LP, Ibanez Destroyer, BC Mockingbird. None of them had ANY Problems. Adjusting the neck was Easy Peasy. Gotta adjust the intonation a tad still. Over all, I Like the WestCreeks a Lot. Thanks for the vid. Very Cool Dude. Now I wanna go Play. Peace and Love Bro

Yeah. The humidity was around 25-30%. Humidifier was bringing it up to 40%-ish. Had to keep it off at night. The Wife paranoid about electrical fires. Meanwhile, we'd have it running all night it my kids room years ago. Anyway, its a furnished basement with all the windows insulated and blacked out. No light or air gets in. The forced air blowing through those vents tho. It's too much. Can't shut them cause we've had frozen pipes in the past (long time ago). Never had a problem the past winters with any guitars down there until this year. Cheaper wood and truss rod maybe? Idk. They're All Good after the neck adjustment tho.
Excellent price for what you get sounds good . But i do own a LTD EC 1000 DELUXE VIPER love it man, But for someone starting out wanting a SG style cant go wrong with this one!

I've had this same guitar, color and everything, for a few months. Mine has a dead spot on one fret, one string... I might be able to get rid of that (?) with string height or neck adjustment. Laziness ensues. As far as sound, playabilty, and looks... I basically feel like... holy-effing-schnizelfitz!!! Oh yeah, my hand does hit the lower horn when I move up there quickly, but not a huge deal. I usually over-think the purchase of any guitar, but when I saw the 'slant' on this one... I bought it right off the bat. To me, someone should've done that slant long ago.
If the string is one on the high. E or low e, and then it's possible You could just do a slight neck Adjustment raise the action on the side the the dead fret is..thats the easy way..if that don't work then I would take off the strings and use a fret Rocker to locate the bad fret..then use the appropriate file to address the situation

Don't be hating on V6 Mustangs! More room to work on yourself, and they last longer... because we don't buy them to rag them out. Lol. Yes I have one. I paid barely more than I did for my 2 PRS SEs! Bargain shopping for quality isn't exclusive to guitars! Lol😂 I'm not a fan of offset design guitars, but I like that one, and I like the inlays! I'm with you, I would have went for the red! Lol.
I love your videos man. And although it was a little more difficult cutting the box open with that crafting knife, I'd rather see you do that. Than like some of these clowns using giant knives... Guitar Max early on. Used to use a katana and then this giant Nordic looking sword. And then scar my guitar. He uses these giant Bowie knives. It's cool but redundant at the same time.
hay leadman, that looks awesome i se a grin creep up it must be a good one and it sounds really good after my fesley fdk800 12 of the 22 frets leveling and a few other stuff , it seems it is the norm to be a crap shoot on a guitar you need to workon setup or it gold right out of the box. thanks for the review stew

@@Streamertail; I guess because I play at lower volume (though heavy sound) the microphonic effect doesn't come into play. Not sure how loud Stanger was playing. I just went to some Gibson SG videos (CrypticMask , for one) It was barely impressive.

As far as build quality they are really close..leaning toward this Westcreek just because of the design and attention to detail of there own creation..tuners are a slight bit better as well on the Westcreek
That black will be beautiful on stage with colored lights because it’s going to reflect those colors back to the audience I may have to get a black one also
I bought the yellow one & can’t find a single flaw ,it has become my favorite guitar because it’s so easy to play,the black one has a blue hue ,it’s a beauty, the pickups on mine are so good I wouldn’t change a thing about them

The Helios is different from the racer. As it's more based on the traditional single cut look

I have 2. The Bumble Bee Racer stayed in tune GOOD. The Matte Black Racer wasn't so good. Added Locking tuners and it's Nice now.
