- This is a warning for anyone who owns an Amazon Echo Show 5. Mine got hacked and I need you guys to take action IMMEDIATELY if your Echo Show 5 is doing similar things to mine as explained in this video.

Where is ANY kind of evidence that it was hacked? Electronics "doing weird things" can have so many reasons other than being hacked - user error, network problems, firmware updates to a faulty new version, or a hardware issue. Scaring people by saying the device was hacked is unethical unless you can provide evidence such as log files from your router. Unless there is evidence, it is safe to assume that the issue is not caused by hacking but by one of the much more plausible possibilities.
