Have you air fried fish in your oven, if so what temp do you use and what is the cooktime. I want to fry catfish fileit in it

I had similar issue arise with a Frigidaire Gallery gas stove a few days ago. My grandson discovered knob in on position with timeframe unknown.. smell of gas was very noticeable so he immediately opened up the doors to release gas from atmosphere. Scary situation since this could have led to a serious occurrence.

What do you expect? It has nothing to do with the oven it is the chicken fat splattering all over the oven. A strong exhaust fan hood that vents outside is a must.

Two weeks ago our Frigidaire gas range oven came on. I was sitting in the kitchen and I heard it come on.

Have the same issue with a different model Frigidaire Gallery gas stove. Our knobs are on the front facing up. My wife has yelled at me a couple times for “forgetting” to turn off the stove. One time I was cleaning something with a small towel and the edge of the towel must have lightly touched it and turned it on. Several other times we smelled gas and discovered that the gas wasn’t totally off. We thought we had turned it off but the knobs can very easily rotate so that gas is leaking into the home. Today I just made breakfast and sat down to eat. Smelled gas. Somehow a burner that I hadn’t even used had the knob slightly on. Gas was leaking into the house!! We are not careless. We cook two or three times a day. Over five years of owning this house, we have only left the kitchen a few times with the knobs on…. BUT many many other times we have caught the issue as or soon after it happened. Now we make a habit of checking the stove every night before bed. Anybody consumer protection about this?

We have one very similar and I fuckin hate it. We've been just taking off the knobs when not in use and it looks like shit.

I own this model and don’t recommend it. The oven itself is nothing sturdy like older Electrolux used to be. Still paying for name but quality is gone. Today, I partially opened microwave as it signaled end of cook time and the whole screen went blank… no longer responding to touch. We’ve had this for just shy of two years… the Electrolux stovetop we bought is even cheaper. A GE model would have cost 1/3 the price and possibly been higher quality.

Every time I use the air fryer with chicken thighs I get intolerable smoke and a mess of oil on the oven walls. I put parchment paper on the drip tray and turned the heat down to 230. I still had so much smoke I had to open my windows for five hours in 20 degree temperature outside. Today I am going to try water in the drip pan. If this doesn't work I will quit using the air fryer.

First off, thank you for making this. I am lost with this new technology. Second, while using this stove, and reading directions, am I not suppose to set it at the degree in the recipe. I am burning EVERYTHING!!! Even brownies. I currently have them at 150 and it's better.

I just bought what I think is the most recent of this model. It came with a center griddle and I'm trying to find a center grate for it. The one that is shown as a replacement part is 8" wide...whereas the griddle is only 7" wide.??? where did you get this center grate?

I know this is a 3 year old post. But my gas stove i just got installed Saturday shows to put air fryer rack in position 3 and the rack 1 for drip pan. Best to put foil and parchment paper on top of foil for smoke control. Sure its different for different models.

Lmfaoooooo the end was so cute. This is so innocent and yes kids are more “grown up” these days but kids have also always dressed up and did stuff like this. Just because you didn’t doesn’t mean they shouldn’t.

You can get child covers for those controls, it could be an issue for some households but I love mine 😊

We have the same issue with our Frigidaire Galaxy that we purchased a year ago. Both my wife and myself have accidentally turned it on while working around the stove, and we quickly turn it off. But yesterday, while my wife was cleaning the microwave, she accidentally bumped the gas on and we didn’t notice until the smell of gas filled the entire house. I’m amazed that Electrolux and all the other appliance manufacturers ignore this serious life threatening safety design defect. Hey, CPSC, are you paying attention!? If there’s a class action lawsuit, sign me up.

For over 3 weeks we have had a gas leak on our soon to be in this 1 year old Frigidaire gas range. Since less than a month of owning this hunk of garbage we have had non stop issues. Frigidaire/Electrolux has been the worst WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! They were supposed to exchange this for a new one back in early 2023, but I am still waiting!!! We are now at the end of 2023 and a few weeks ago the knob for the middle grill burner suddenly wouldn’t turn to shut off the element, we literally have to shut the gas off from our main source in the basement to shut off the gas leak to the range. The day this happened the flame burned for about 12 hours until I had help to shut it off as I have a disability and was unable to safely do this alone. My family had been without a safe working range for over 3 weeks now and still despite speaking to this horribly run company, which most customer service is in the Philippines or Mauritius islands, about 200 times this year!! This new gas leak they state they can’t even set up a technician to come to fix it since they deemed this oven scrap at least 10 months ago and therefore say their hands are tied as upper management needs to straighten out because they stoped the exchange due to incompetence- out of protocol. This is absolutely BS! I have tried to contact the CEO or anyone who will actually be useful, other than the upper management POS Mohammad, who is refusing to help the customer!!! Unreal! Hopefully they see this review as I’m not done! I’m good to start a class action lawsuit, if anyone is interested. Btw we have the professional version.

Wow, I see this is 3 years old and I have the same issue with my Frigidaire that I just bought. The other day I leaned against it and didn’t realize the gas was on until I walked by later and smelled it. It’s an awful product. I’ll never buy Frigidaire again.

Holy Mahoney, that is one gorgeous unit, indeed!! My Man is about to order this and I cannot WAIT until it is installed so that I can bask in its absolute gorgeousness!!!

Should let us hear the fan running with you not talking.. Fan noise seems to be a big complaint with Fridgidaire ranges.

I have this oven and I have used it a couple times but can’t get past the noise of the fan. I’ve never had a convection oven but it seems loud. Is this normal??

What are the dimensions of the grease collecting tray that is positioned under the air fry tray? Frigidaire is unable to provide an answer and has discontinued their grease collecting tray.

I have learned that you can't use temp over 350 with this oven feature, to keep it from smoking so bad.

I am stuck with the worse model because the previous owner picked the appliances. This behavior been annoying me to no end these past few years- and your video is the first to explain to me why. This is such an absurd programming error! I can’t believe this made it out to production, it adds to my dissatisfaction with Frigidaire appliances in general.

I have the same range, have the exact same problem. It's worse when it doesn't get pushed to the egnyte setting, you just have gas seeping. If you're thinking about Frigidaire look somewhere else, just out of control board fail after 14 months. Stay away from their products
