    1. Price
    2. Niagara launcher(wich is the most easiest launcher ever in my life)
    3. Freedom(i can install anything i want wich is feeling cool)
And that's it. If iphone 15 pro price tag was around 700 - 800 i would buy it. But 1200 dollars is a bit too much for a phone. And I don't like the other iphones at all. Maybe iphone 13 pro is also good. But rest of the iPhones feels like literally waste of money. Who buys phone for 60hz screen?

Last summer, my cell carrier (I live in PR) started hiking prices and my mom was visiting in NC, she offered to add me to the family plan (AT&T) and got me an iPhone 13 (free) so I could facetime with the family, I was using a $30 android (was unemployed), hilarious that I’m the only one who uses Facetime😅, I just wanna go back to just plugging in a usbc drive and copy stuff from pc to phone and back. Just throwing mp3’s in a folder, I used a bunch of miscellaneous apps, for almost everything.

All the customization and phone choices for Android look like fun. So far, every Android user I’ve met just runs the default launcher and installs a theme for customization. I know more about how to use Android than those around me and I’m a life long iPhone user. Thankfully the two platforms operate similarly making transitioning between them mostly seamless. I’ve trained iPhone fanboys that when handed an Android work phone they acted like I was trying to teach them Latin. In the end, productivity, completing goals and getting work done matters the most and I’ll use the whatever tools available that achieves this.

@@KamaAnthem it depends on what you want really: if you want a clean, with no bloatware android experience, your options are either Google Pixel (in the places that you can actually get them), Motorola or Sony. Conversely, if you don't care about bloatware or don't mind being in an Apple like walled garden, there's Samsung (android’s Apple) and their OneUI skin. The rest are a mixed bag: Color OS/OxygenOS and its derivatives are ok but some have ads and the occasional bloat, Funtouch is apparently a poor OneUI clone and Xiaomi's MIUI/HyperOS is simply a mess; poor battery management, full of bloat and has ads, but It's pretty customizable and most of their phones have custom ROM support.

I use an Galaxy S21 for work and an iPhone 15 for personal and I find I get more spelling mistakes on the Android phone, so I'm not convinced. I do like number row and punctuation keys being easier to access, but perhaps the extra space used for those keys means smaller tap zones for the remaining keys leading to more errors when tying.

Honestly though, save for the iPhone 6, iPhones across generations have had the upper hand in terms of sheer build quality. Like I would choose a Samsung S24 Ultra if I wanted the best smartphone currently on sale, the AI features, display, cameras and stylus are all amazing stuff however, as something to hold in the hand, even the base iPhone 15 has a certain sheen and solidity to it which is sorely lacking even in flagship Android phones

I go to the store every one in a while and never fail to notice how cheap most Androids feel when held in the hand, even the flagship models. I think weight plays an important role here, they’re just too light for their size. Same thing with notebooks.
