This is my favorite Aircraft ever
Working for one of the major MRO's that specialize in this family of aircraft Ive worked on and flown the majority of the leet. There is no other aircraft that will do what a 441 will do. Theyre a wonderful IFR platform. With long range and good payload they are the best. If you go back in flight log far enough my name is in this one. Oh yea.
Great airplane! Flew SN221 for over 1500 hrs years ago as a young captain. Did -10 and 4 bladed props
Great flying and really troublefree plane back then.
I worked at Yingling Aircraft in Wichita,Kansas for 22 years, the 441 was my specialty, and went to many places to help customers with problems when they couldn't fly them to us.My longest trip was going to Oaxaca,Mexico to adjust fuel control on one engine.I flew back with the customer to Wichita, only stopping for customs in Mexico and Texas, didn't need to refuel. If a customer called Flight Safety or the Cessna factory for help on these, they gave the person my name and Yingling's phone number.
got interested with the ad.. such a beauty
I maintained serial #007 for years, it had the -10 engines. I got to go to Flight Safety for training on the aircraft and fly the sim too!
Ah, I’ve had mine, a 1980 model, for just under four years. I got it for the very long legs and excellent speed. I started out looking at the Cheyenne 400LS and flew two. The Cheyenne also has the Garrets, the dash 14 version, vs. the dash 10s on my (and, no doubt your) 441. It’s such an amazing airplane with even longer legs and 40 knots faster. But the production volume was so low that I was concerned about parts and knowledgeable maintenance facilities. As much as I love the C441, I still fawn over Controller ads for the Cheyenne 400LS. As an aside, the line crew in Scottsdale broke the tab on my airplane!
We considered a 400LS but did not buy for those exact reasons.
Richard did you get your E3 membership access? If not contract support@e3association.com and let them know
The 421 is the Golden Eagle, geared piston engine. The smaller PT6 Conquest (Conquest I) is the 425. I flew my 441 from Long Beach, CA to Orlando, FL non-stop during the winter with a tailwind. Over Texas, Center asked if I had time for a question. I said “sure.” He said “it says here that you’re non-stop from Long Beach to Orlando. Is that really correct?” I was proud to reply in the affirmative. He said “amazing.” The bottles in the wheel wells aren’t blow down bottles for the gear, they’re the fire bottles for the engines. The gauge for the gear blow down bottle is in the front baggage compartment against the aft wall.
So the Cheyenne is 40kts faster or the 441 is faster?
@@Wileybird03 The Cheyenne, but only the 400LS.
Such a nice aircraft in value and performance. That blade tip ground clearance is a little hairy.
Took 272 to Singapore via Oakland, Honolulu, Wake, Guam and in. 31 hours in a 44 hour block. 805 gallons fuel with ferry tanks. Gave Harrison Ford his first lesson in one.
Hey @williammyers9283 Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Looking forward to seeing flights performed and procedures done
Hey! 🎉 You're really good at this. Thank you.

Thanks and welcome. We have some new great stuff coming soon
What a gem! Fast, dependable, load up and go! Love those engines and props!
Best part of the video you just skipped right over it. Do you have the flight portion of the video?
Great looking plane. I fly 414A, KFMY. How can I find or get the pilot/copilot cup holder?
Your right. We 3d printed it ourselves. Cant find any to buy. If you take measurements on basically how you want it built, you can have someone on FIVER.com build you the digital file for about 50 bucks. Then just find someone with a 3D printer and make your own.
Cup holders are mounted under the yokes and rotate out from the bottom of the panel unless they have been removed.
How can I get one of those 3D printed cupholders? That's great. I fly #012.
Email Support @ E3 Association . com and they can email you the 3d printer file for it. Then anyone can print it for you.
I heard they made a conquest with -12 garrets but got rid of them as they were out performing the small jets?
Biggest potential issue with the C441 is the cycles, not just total hours.
How high will the pressurisation system take you without supplemental O2?
Are you guys based at KFXE? I am a 6'7" PP and looking for a new plane. With my height it's been hard to find twins that I can fit in comfortably. Would it be possible to sit in the cockpit of this airplane to check for comfort? Odd request I know but thought I would ask.
Sorry we sold this plane last year. Now we have a carbon cub and a GB1
What's the annual like on a bad boy like that? :)
typically 14K base to do it. Averages about 35-40k with finds and 90K if you go all out.
What’s the Maximum speed of this plane?
typically we would block this at 320. But long rage 270 is conservation. We do Boston to Miami back and fourth no problem with hours of reserve.
Hmmm, long legs, heavy payload, South Florida, I think I see a money making opportunity!
The photo on shows Cessna 411....need to correct that.
Sorry to say but this aircraft is very miss leading and it’s only a matter of time before it will kill you. 95 people have lost the lives to this piece of crap. My brother was killed in the 6th one off of the assembly line Nov 15th 1977. It ripped apart at 18,ooo ft and killed 7 people, it was scattered over two+ miles over Greensbarrow Alabama. That was the first one that crashed and many have crashed sense. I fly in a Cessna a lot and most are great aircraft but i would never trust this one with my life. People should do a little mor research on the aircraft before buying one. Good luck to you, hope you survive it.
We know the AD and the fact that Cessna took all of them before further flight and re-worked the tails. With the -10's and 4 blade Hartzel's or M-T 5 blades they are very economical and perform better than any other turboprop, sorry MU-2 fans [wing and tanks too small]. They are very easy to fly compared to the others as well, which is why they are so expensive on the market now. They were too expensive for us so we went SW2 route and have even longer legs but 10-15 kts slower and 15 gph higher fuel burn.
Will it blow away a Navajo twin no problem?
LOL oh ya. 441 is turbine.
