- I have zero clue as to why Mary on a Cross is trending on TikTok but I felt it was as good as an excuse as any to do a reaction to my beloved band @thebandGhost.
Rather than react to the lyric video I've deiced to react to Ghost's live performance of the song in Tampa 2022.

It went viral because a slowed version of the song was used for some Stranger Things montages on TikTok. And they even took the opportunity to re-release the song along with the slowed down version of it 😂

@@themetalmuse I can’t think of another band (that I know of and / or have seen live) other than maybe Rammstein that have the musical and theatric element to their shows. Proper entertainment 😊
@@kevincross9206 To be honest, that goes for about every good metal band I have ever seen, unless the show sucked.
I'll be seeing them next month and I'm excited & nervous! I've only been to small venues a handful of times. This one is an arena. I'm not used to large crowds and am introverted, so this will be something.
I knew of the band since Prequelle, but I didn't get really into them until last month. Found out they'll be here and thought it was a sign.

Dew/Stompy/Sodo is always a wonder to watch for sure, but I think Swiss is my favorite in this, his vocals are so pure! ❤ 🤣

@@hayleedavidson5263 yeah so if you check my ghost review I rave about the front row ladies who patched up my busted knee (I’d severely hurt my knee earlier in the day) at the barrier, they even showed up in the comments. One girl took my scarf and turned it into a knee support and they basically carried me to the barrier.

Imagine a common situation: you are a fan of a popular or not very popular artist. Well, for example, the Swedish band Ghost, why not? You listen to yourself from the very first album, enjoy the songs, even if there are no people among the inhabitants of Bobruisk who share your taste or know about this group. And then one of the songs, maybe even a rather old one, goes viral on tiktok and in an instant the last horse in the expensive town knows about your idols. It would seem: antibugurt, finally everyone knows about such a wonderful band!! But no. Here you are sitting near the club and you hear an argument about what the song is about: about a beautiful girl or about the crucified Saint Mary. And the argument is furious, tense. But you've been preparing for this all your life, you know the song has a hidden undertone. You approach the arguing: "This is a song about marijuana, the phrase mary on a cross is deliberately constructed like this, because in English it is consonant with marihuana cross, and there is also the phrase i will tickle you internally, like tickle from the inside, vooot." And you stand proudly, remembering how you were one of the fans who got this truth, which the musician confirmed. But the arguing people will look at each other, piss you off and then tell the whole village that you are not a dumbass who rummages for the group.
