- It's been a few years since we last sat down with Drew so we were thrilled to get this opportunity to catch up. Covering subjects as wide ranging as his new RVCA collection, daughter Stella's addition to the Element team and confirming the existence of Baker 4, 'The Boss' does not hold back!

There's just something about how simple, humble, and pure Reynolds is that warms my heart in his interviews or any time he opens up.
Julio
Well said.
Just my opinion: Genuine/honest/self aware humans are rare. Especially in front of a camera.
My assumption: That's why he always comes off as humbly tactful/tasteful as he does....because he IS humbly tactful/tasteful and honestly exposed at all times.
Takes a drastic sense of self awareness, and a staggering level self-discipline to go through life like that. It's also fairly dangerous in regards to being vulnerable to the weakness of others.
@@kanescrimes4848 Well yeah but as a company owner, father, and sober. You go through a lot. Most skaters aren't very knowledgeable about books and life but, they pick up on things traveling around. But it is true few people are like that. One of the few that comes to mind is Lance. He's humble and his live for skating and honest.
@@SuperJulio2008 until he calls people the N word.
@@cloudhobbyist could it be said that's unforgivable? Lmao
Julio real talk. It’s literally impossible not to respect Reynolds.
This guy is one of the few responsible skaters. Kids need to look up to this guy. He sobered up. Realized life comes with family and responsibilities. Smart with money. Always thinking ahead.
Will always be one of my favourite skateboarder and human beings.
The Boss! I met him and Kader at a local park, they're too good and way too humble in real life, I love it!
Andrew Reynolds really is The Boss.
FACTS: Stay Gold part was A1!
A1+
Happy birthday andrew! You such an insperation! I like the fact that you so aware and conchiose of the skate world and put it to words like no one els. Thank you
0:36 watching it on 2022, it may have seemed as such a distant year on that moment
I met him at the Combi last February, skating the mini ramp with Stella. He was tripping on how good she was... and so was I. She does skate like him. I don't have kids but I see how cool it must feel as a dad to watch that progression. Much respect! Carry on good sir. Carry on!
He seems like a great father
His Made: 2 part... was SOOO NOT weak. I saw that, and it's not as big & psycho as Stay Gold, but so refined, stylish & still creative and still so Reynolds. I can watch it & those B-sides any time. Staggering.
Reynolds can do anything on a skateboard and I’ll still watch it.
Such an inspiration!
That dude is sick! I’ve always wanted to meet him!
favourite skater growing up
Shout out the year 2022
i thought it was called RVCA (are vee see ayy) until like a week ago.
lol i think most did. I was the same until someone told me. Shit is an actual "V" but meant to be a "U". I'm just gonna start typing it RUCA and see what people do.
I still say RVCA
the fucking man. i remember his Rookie in 411
You can tell that he’s a really chill and humble guy but you can also tell there’s part of him that’s kind of off. Still though, amazing skater.
I'm kinda out of skateboarding but if Baker 4 comes out,I'm gonna make some coffee, sit down and watch that entire thing.
did you like it?
@@sontiyo7113 Today I'm again skating more then ever and I have to say that at the time I was not a fan of Baker 4. But watching it today I love it. Baker just had a video come out yesterday with focus on Rowan,Zach and Reynolds and my god is Andrew still so good.
yup
He is the goat
fuck yes
I want that board he uses,, New Release..
Always good to hear from the boss
Dude he skated the pyramid in calgary???
2010, 2018, 2022 lol
As you get older you do look at time and life different
Adidas was perfect for her I'm a big fan an element was time
Reynolds
His skateboarding has definitely changed over the years. I mean: the tricks he does, his style, his jeans, everythig. To me he seems and looks like a new Andrew Reynolds. On the other hand (in my opinion) he has lost a little bit of his classic style, although he still does most of his classical tricks. The boss has become way more technical. Anyway, he will always be "The Boss" and my favorite skater ever.
Felipe di Oliveira i feel like he reverted back to his late 90s early 2000 look. Which I always loved that Reynolds imo. Even his Emerica Reynolds G6 is a throwback to the 90s. Which I love. Haha.
I did always like the This Is Skateboarding Reynolds though. The Punk rock look.
@@7teenagesmokers309 You're right to an extent. It just so happens that i first got to know about Reynolds through This is skateboarding. And at that time he was into tight pants, leather jackets, slim Emerica shoes, things like that (that's the version of him that I lo love). And by seeing him changing his style nowadays, it gets to me a little bit. I hope I'm not sounding nitpicking, I still love his skateboarding and I'll always be his fan.
If Reynolds picked up rainbow camo i could care less. I just love to see him skating and at 40 none the less!
@@FelipediOliveira When This Is Skatebording came out some skaters were looking at him the way you are lookin at him right now. When he was coming up he was dressing like Penny. Look at his The End video and what he wears and compare that to This Is Skateboarding. In Baker 2G is a mix of both and probably my favourite Reynolds era. Then in Baker 3 he again looks different. He had those new era hats,jackets...hard to describe but there is a Baker 3 look to Reynolds. And by Stay Gold he was very simple. I think now in 2022 he loves to try different things but for the most part he dresses up as how I would imagine a skater when I think of one. Vans shoes, jeans pants but a little baggy, simple but comfortabliy fit t-shirt and a hat or a beanie.
40?! Wow, he looks 52.
All the booze and cigarettes and probably harder drugs in his past. His spirit still is in his 20's though.
That's gay release it through thrasher so we don't have to pay or wait
🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
@@johnhess3967 ?????????
he looks feeble minded
More like feeble grinded 🖕
happy to see she's wearing a helmet. young guys need to follow suit. it's totally irresponsible for the big brands and magazines (read: thrasher) to glorify concussions and bodily injuries. i see the adverse consequences of these attitudes at the skatepark all the time.
Buuuuuulll shit dude
but if you where racing in a car you would were a helmet not if your skateboarding rolling at under 10 mph in a safe environment with your dad as a professional watching over..... cased closed.
