    I remember being 10 or 11 and I saw a VHS skate video at a friend's house.
    Out of everyone on it Andrew Reynolds amazed me and got me into skateboarding.

    I remember seeing Andrew at a mini-ramp contest in the late 80's, and his mom was SUPPER supportive.

    Lived in Lakeland most of my life and always thought it was so dope that Andrew Reynolds was from here, one of my favorite skaters ever, he's an absolutely monster on the board.

      Yeah JNCO was just a lame trendy company that took baggy pants to the extreme way after that stuff was filmed. Skate companies were making baggy pants way before that. 40s I think were a brand and lots of board companies made clothes. I never knew any skaters who wore JNCOs, the goths and posers wore them. They were so lame, they weren’t even baggy like skate jeans, they were almost like bell bottoms that only got baggy in the legs.

    For someone who is casually referred to as "the boss" Andrew is super mellow and humble about his come-up in the industry. Makes him seem even cooler IMO. Top 10 best skaters OAT!

    He's absolutely right about Lakeland, FL. Actually a pretty nice place to live. He and I were about a mile away from each other, were friends in Junior High and High School. Nice dude. Skating with him was an amazing treat too. You learn so much watching someone who knows what they're doing.

    One of the names in skating that you never forget. Any time I think of skaters overs the years Reynolds comes to mind. My old messed up work shoes I have on right now are actually one of the reynolds. I think the 3, still had the puffy tongue lol, but are thin otherwise.

    I love it, I remember thps Andrew Reynolds, always a name that was around that you respected and expected to come with the pro skater deal, but now he’s like the grandfather of skating. I know tony and Natas and all those fools are still around, but goddamn, there’s no one like Andrew

    So great. I remember running into him in about '96 or so in Huntington Beach. We asked if we could film him and he was cool about it. Seemed like a nice guy then, and still seems down to earth now. He killed some stairs with no footage except for our - just warming up.

    4 wheel drive you can really start to see the impeccable Reynolds style emerging. Particularly the flick on his flip tricks.

    wow! Although Reynolds isn't known to really skate switch a whole lot he was soo good at switch as a little kid, switch bs 360 off a ledge in a run, switch 360 flip down big stair sets in runs, he is actually amazing at switch/nollie, definitely underrated in that aspect.

    Did my first kickflip manny on that pad in Santa Monica that Ocean Howell was skating. Probably everyone else did too, that spot is legendary.

    I went to middle school with this guy and remember him getting new Airwalks every month. They didn't sell them at Payless back then, either. I'm pretty sure he's worn the same waistline on his pants since then, too.

    Sure wish I kept up with Andrew Reynolds post 2000. Growing up I always thought he was more vert. The Tony Hawk N64 pro skater games really got me mixed up with who did what.
    And I'm guessing G&S is Gordon and Smith. The first time I heard about them was six years ago when I bought my first complete cruiser.
