I remember being 10 or 11 and I saw a VHS skate video at a friend's house. Out of everyone on it Andrew Reynolds amazed me and got me into skateboarding. Love these video's 🤘👍
Lived in Lakeland most of my life and always thought it was so dope that Andrew Reynolds was from here, one of my favorite skaters ever, he's an absolutely monster on the board.
Yeah JNCO was just a lame trendy company that took baggy pants to the extreme way after that stuff was filmed. Skate companies were making baggy pants way before that. 40s I think were a brand and lots of board companies made clothes. I never knew any skaters who wore JNCOs, the goths and posers wore them. They were so lame, they weren’t even baggy like skate jeans, they were almost like bell bottoms that only got baggy in the legs.
For someone who is casually referred to as "the boss" Andrew is super mellow and humble about his come-up in the industry. Makes him seem even cooler IMO. Top 10 best skaters OAT!
He's absolutely right about Lakeland, FL. Actually a pretty nice place to live. He and I were about a mile away from each other, were friends in Junior High and High School. Nice dude. Skating with him was an amazing treat too. You learn so much watching someone who knows what they're doing.
One of the names in skating that you never forget. Any time I think of skaters overs the years Reynolds comes to mind. My old messed up work shoes I have on right now are actually one of the reynolds. I think the 3, still had the puffy tongue lol, but are thin otherwise.
I love it, I remember thps Andrew Reynolds, always a name that was around that you respected and expected to come with the pro skater deal, but now he’s like the grandfather of skating. I know tony and Natas and all those fools are still around, but goddamn, there’s no one like Andrew
So great. I remember running into him in about '96 or so in Huntington Beach. We asked if we could film him and he was cool about it. Seemed like a nice guy then, and still seems down to earth now. He killed some stairs with no footage except for our - just warming up.
wow! Although Reynolds isn't known to really skate switch a whole lot he was soo good at switch as a little kid, switch bs 360 off a ledge in a run, switch 360 flip down big stair sets in runs, he is actually amazing at switch/nollie, definitely underrated in that aspect.
I went to middle school with this guy and remember him getting new Airwalks every month. They didn't sell them at Payless back then, either. I'm pretty sure he's worn the same waistline on his pants since then, too.
I wonder if 15yr old Andrew ever thought where he'd be and where he'd take skateboarding 15 years later... skateboarding is awesome. Andrew is the Boss
Thanks for the uploading here, it will be cool if this channel could upload all the official berrics site videos at the same time as they do on the website, also the videoplayer from the berrics website it's incredebly bad , I can't watch videos without having to pause it for download.
Sure wish I kept up with Andrew Reynolds post 2000. Growing up I always thought he was more vert. The Tony Hawk N64 pro skater games really got me mixed up with who did what. And I'm guessing G&S is Gordon and Smith. The first time I heard about them was six years ago when I bought my first complete cruiser.
v2lab Growing up a friend of mine had a birthday party there and we got to skate it after it closed for a few hours. Remember it being so awesome as a kid.
"Just free just out filming little kid style" except you guys were doing insane shit for your age and time hah, also awesome to see the boss's history didn't know much about his past/comeup guy was a beast from like 13 years old
Hands down my favorite skater of all time!
He's a good humble favorite to have. We already know many can say the same.
Reynolds will always be one of my favourite skaters
StoneD Kidd same

Wow! His intro speech was a perfect assessment to the importance of skate videos.
I remember seeing Andrew at a mini-ramp contest in the late 80's, and his mom was SUPPER supportive.

Same, literary everyone here loves Reynolds and it’s crazy
@@cryingintensifies2200 because he's a fucking legend and one of the all time great street skaters.
Favorite. Skateboarder. Ever. The influence he had on my adolescence, in retrospect, is mindboggling.
Those Jnco jeans hahaha. God its embarrassing to think I went out in public wearing those
Bring em' back! haha
Popaturdout Mcfartswell I think those were Blind pants, had them back in the day and were hella wide too...
Popaturdout Mcfartswell that look plus pushing Mongo on small ass wheels...
That's right! Jnco, word up. I used to rock the New Deal ones back then. Ridiculous big.

@@chivalrous_chevy1163 Reynolds is a great mind, man. Never really thought of it like that but it makes hella sense.

4 wheel drive you can really start to see the impeccable Reynolds style emerging. Particularly the flick on his flip tricks.

THIS WAS AWESOME VIDEO! It brings back so many memories! Can't wait for part two! :)
Did my first kickflip manny on that pad in Santa Monica that Ocean Howell was skating. Probably everyone else did too, that spot is legendary.
Still my favorite skater of all time.
Andrew Reynolds one of the best to ever do it.
Best in my book. His part in 411 vol 22 is awesome and he got the cover.
The legend.
Those hilarious big pants take me back to freshman year in high school. We used to think you could only skate in those. Back in the day . . . .
I went to middle school with this guy and remember him getting new Airwalks every month. They didn't sell them at Payless back then, either. I'm pretty sure he's worn the same waistline on his pants since then, too.
He's a really good person and worked hard to get where he is! I've known him since he was 12-13 years old and we knew he had it?
